According to the latest reports, the film that has been in the making for quite some time and seen multiple delays, has reportedly hit another hurdle during production. Latest reports indicate that the film, which marks the third instalment in the iconic action-thriller franchise, has been postponed again. Originally scheduled to begin filming in August 2023, 'Don 3' was rescheduled to begin work in January 2025. However, according to a report by Box Office Worldwide, filming was then pushed to mid-2025, tentatively around May or June, with director Farhan choosing to prioritise his acting commitments in the film '120 Bahadur'. With this, the production timeline has reportedly been revised once again. Production Update As per the report, as shooting for '120 Bahadur' took several months, the new schedule was set for mid-2025. The director and actor reportedly planned to begin work on the film after the release of his film. However, "things took a turn when Vikrant Massey exited the project." Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest instalment of the iconic franchise, is unstoppable at the global box office. Featuring Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson in the lead, it remains the first choice of the cinephiles even in China. According to Box Office Worldwide, the sci-fi dinosaur action film minted a whopping USD 2.7 million on its first Tuesday at the Chinese box office, marking the biggest first Tuesday in 2025 for a Hollywood film. With this, Jurassic World Rebirth has surpassed the first Tuesday collection of Tom Cruise's action-thriller, Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning in China (USD 2.1 Million) and has claimed the top spot. Although the film had the best first Tuesday of 2025, it did not match the collection of its predecessor, Jurassic World Dominion. For the record, the 2022 release grossed USD 4.2 million on its debut Tuesday in China. Notably, Jurassic World Rebirth has also surpassed the collection of other big Hollywood releases in China such as Jason Momoa's Aquaman 2 (USD 2.1 Million), Tom Hardy's Venom: The Last Dance (USD 2.7 Million) but trailed Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer-Deadpool and Wolverine (USD 3 million) and Chris Pratt's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (USD 3.1 million). After six days of its release, Jurassic World Rebirth has minted USD 47.2 million at the Chinese Box Office. On the international market, the film performed even better, grossing an estimated USD 174.8 million across 82 global markets, bringing its total to USD 322.6 million. This marks the franchise's second-highest global opening ever, as well as the largest international debut for a Hollywood release in 2025. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film also features celebs like Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Gracia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein in key roles. It is the fourth film in the Jurassic World series and the seventh since Steven Spielberg's original Jurassic Park adaptation stormed theatres in the summer of 1993.
