Man describes surreal experience after being considered dead for 45 minutes
The TikToker, who uses the handle @ believes he went over to the afterlife, during which time the man watched his life unfold as if it was a film A man who was considered dead for around 45 minutes has revealed what he saw. The TikToker believes he went over to the afterlife following a nasty reaction to medication. After the man, known as @ on TikTok, collapsed on the floor of a restaurant bathroom, he became lifeless and says doctors thought he was dead for around 45 minutes. He says paramedics only realised there was sign of life after he was put into a body bag. The man understands he was unconscious and had slipped into the afterlife, where he was able to "witness his death". "I was looking at everything from above, but what's weird is it didn't feel like it was me at all even though I was sitting there looking at my own dead body," he said. "I would almost be like going to a movie, like a real movie, and seeing someone dressed like you and looking like you on the movie, but you're like, 'That's not me because I'm over here watching the movie.'" His story comes after a woman from Colorado, US, argued death is an illusion, following her near death experience. Brianna Lafferty, 33, heard a voice asking if she was ready – and agreed – as she entered into complete darkness when she became lifeless recently. The TikToker's case mirrors Brianna's one as @ a former bodybuilder, also "ended up dying" on the bathroom floor after his convulsions. When he was found, he was cold to the touch and so doctors understood he had passed away. And the Express US reports the man watched the very scene unfold - like a movie - as he entered the afterlife briefly. He continued: "My background is in TV and film, so I though that was such an off choice for the director to think he needed to overplay all these thoughts of everyone in the room." The former bodybuilder said ge watched paramedics bag his body and place him in an ambulance. As he was riding in the back, he started to see a light - and he regained consciousness. Then, the man allegedly heard one of the paramedics say: "This one's not dead." The medic unzipped the body bag, and he found a sign he was still alive. That's when the man finally started to realize he was watching his own death. The man detailed his experience in a TikTok clip this week, which coincided with Brianna's journey. Speaking to reporters, she said: "Death is an illusion because our soul never dies. Our consciousness remains alive. And our very being only transforms. My thoughts instantly manifested into the afterlife. I noticed that our thoughts create a reality there – it just takes time – which is a blessing."

Americans try Cadbury and compare it to US chocolate – and there's clear winner
Cadbury and Hershey's are two of the biggest chocolate brands in the world, both boasting a rich history and delicious products which have stood the test of time An American couple have issued their verdict on Cadbury chocolate after trying it for the first time, and compared it to a classic US brand. Brianna Sky Morton and her partner relocated from the US to the UK and been spending much of their time tucking into classic British foods to see if they are worth the hype. Recently, after hearing Brits rave about Cadbury chocolate, they decided to conduct a taste test to see if it beats America's Hershey's chocolate. When it comes to food, us Brits don't necessarily have the best reputation. But one thing tourists often love trying while in the UK is our snacks. Brianna has been sharing their honest reviews of British food on her Instagram page since relocating, and her review of one of the nation's favourite chocolate brands has got people talking. Cadbury chocolate tends to offer a richer, smoother flavour due to the high cocoa content, while Hershey's is known for its lighter, sweeter taste as a result of the butyric acid used. Both chocolate companies have a rich history and play a significant role in the chocolate industry. Brianna and her partner tried the Hershey's chocolate bar first, after which she said: "I love Hershey's," however after tucking into a Cadbury's bar, the pair were left stunned. "Wow," Brianna said - and her partner totally agreed. Brianna added: "That is amazing. This blows Hershey's out of the water. Cadbury, oh my goodness." She insisted there is "no going back" to American chocolate after trying the British treat, which has been around since 1824. One commented: "We don't do everything better in England but biscuits and chocolate are good for sure!" "Cadbury is real chocolate," insisted another. One other said: "Nobody does chocolate like UK and France in my opinion. Cadbury rocks." "UK chocolate will always be better than USA chocolate!," agreed one other. One other said: "First time I tried Hershey's I felt so bad for Americans! You guys don't know what chocolate is until you come to Europe!! British chocolate is not even considered good compared to Belgian chocolate!" One other Brit shared their thoughts, and wrote: "Cadbury used to be the UK favourite. Taste slightly changed when the sugar tax was introduced, which led people to criticise its quality. Then Kraft absolutely ruined it. It now tastes cheap and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. I personally haven't purchased it for more than a year now, and will never again." Suggesting what to try next, another commented: "Wait till they get a chocolate orange down them, lives will be changed." "Try a Ripple or a Twirl," suggested one other. Another agreed and noted: "And they haven't even had a Flake yet. Or a Ripple. Life changing." Which chocolate bar would you crown as the winner? Comment below and share your favourite brand.

'I died for 8 minutes and what I saw convinced me that death is an illusion'
A woman who was pronounced dead for eight minutes has revealed what she saw – and says death is an illusion. Brianna Lafferty's soul 'floated' above her, before she passed over into a place where time didn't exist. The 33-year-old had been battling a rare, life-limiting neurological disorder and said her body had already 'given up'. She heard a voice asking if she was ready – and agreed – as she entered into complete darkness. While there, Brianna learned that death is an illusion and that our time on Earth isn't the end. 'Death is an illusion because our soul never dies,' Brianna said. 'Our consciousness remains alive. And our very being only transforms. My thoughts instantly manifested into the afterlife. I noticed that our thoughts create a reality there – it just takes time – which is a blessing. 'We're able to change our negativity into positivity, turning this into reality. I feel empowered and trust life's events, especially the hard ones. Looking back, everything is so crystal clear as to why I suffered with illness and other tough struggles. 'There's knowledge that everything does really happen for a reason, as I go with the flow and don't get angry or upset when bad things happen. Also knowing that my thoughts and feelings are that powerful helps me live a gratitude filled life.' Brianna had been suffering from myoclonus dystonia, a rare neurological condition that causes sudden, brief muscle jerks and contractions, Mirror UK reports. She had exhausted all medication and was unaware of how bad her condition could get – and if it was possibly fatal. After experiencing intense insomnia, where she was unable to sleep for more than a minute across four days, she thought her time was almost up. Brianna, who was pronounced dead for eight minutes, says the out-of-body experience taught her an important lesson. She said: 'I was suddenly separated from my physical body. I didn't see or remember my human self. I was completely still, yet I felt fully alive, aware and more myself than ever before. There was no pain, just a deep sense of peace and clarity. 'This detachment from my physical form made me realise how temporary and fragile our human experience is. There's a presence, or intelligence, higher than ourselves that guides and watches over us with unconditional love. Everything happens at once there, as if time doesn't exist, yet there was perfect order. 'I experienced the beginning of everything and learned that our universe is made up of a bunch of numbers. I met other beings that I'm not sure were human, but they felt familiar. It changed the course of my life – what I feared no longer had power over me and what I used to chase didn't seem important anymore. 'I came back with a sense of mission and deep reverence for both life and death.' Brianna says that it felt like she had been gone for months when returning back into her body. She stayed in hospital for four days, trying to work out what had happened. Over this time, she had to readjust – not just physically, but spiritually, too Now, she's learned not to fear death and is grateful for the experience. She added: 'I had to relearn how to walk and talk. I've also had lasting side effects and damage to my pituitary gland, which I got experimental brain surgery for to treat – and has been a success so far. 'I am a little fearful of having another near death experience, only because the recovery is tough. I'm not sure I can avoid it if it's meant to happen again, though. But because of this, I have a heart of gratitude instead of anger. 'And I'm able to help others going through chronic illness, dying and spiritual awakenings using my own experience. I believe I survived because I have a purpose here on Earth. 'There have been many close calls where I should have died and didn't. I'm aware that we choose hard, difficult and painful moments in our human experiences because our soul wants to know what isn't available in the spiritual realm. It's to learn and grow, but sometimes it's because the sense of something new excites us.'
