Kelvin Miranda joins 'Unang Hirit' as host-mate for the week
Kelvin Miranda is the newest host-mate of "Unang Hirit" from July 21 to July 25. On Monday's episode of the Kapuso morning show, Kelvin talked about his experience at the recently concluded "Sang'gre" fan event held in Quezon City. "Nakakatuwa s'yempre kasi nararamdaman [ko] 'yung init nang pagtanggap," he said. "Ako naman lagi akong grateful and thankful sa mga sumusuporta kaya lubos at labis akong nagpapasalamat sa inyo," he added. In "Sang'gre," Kelvin stars as Adamus, the keeper of Brilyante ng Tubig. The first male Sang'gre, Kelvin is among the new generation of Sang'gres, which includes Terra (Bianca Umali), the keeper of Brilyante ng Lupa, Flammara (Faith Da Silva), the keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy, and Deia (Angel Guardian), the protector of Brilyante ng Hangin. Ruru Madrid pens poem for Bianca Umali on their 7th anniversary
Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali are celebrating their seventh year together as a couple. To mark their anniversary, the Kapuso Prime Action Hero shared a montage of their moments, from simple dates to their travels abroad. Ruru also penned a short poem for Bianca to express his feelings on their special day. "Pitong taon ng pag-ibig. Hindi perpekto, pero totoo. Hindi man laging tugma, pero palagi nating pinipili ang tama. Tayo pa rin. Tayong dalawa. Hanggang dulo—ikaw at ako. Sa 'yo lang ang tingin. Mahal na mahal kita. Happy 7th anniversary, Maria Isadora Bianca." Ruru confirmed his relationship with Bianca in 2022. The couple has talked about marriage, with Ruru calling Bianca The One. Ruru has also publicly admired Bianca for her acting career, especially for her latest Kapuso series, "Sang'gre." In the "Encantadia" spinoff, Bianca stars as Terra, the daughter of Danaya and the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa. Ruru Madrid wowed by Bianca Umali's 'Sang'gre' fight scenes: 'Kakaproud!'
Ruru Madrid couldn't help but express his admiration and pride for Bianca Umali after her intense fight scenes in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.' On Facebook, Ruru shared a fan's post with screenshots of Bianca's scenes from Friday's episode, saying she truly deserved her role as Terra. 'Ang husay husay!! Kakaproud!' Ruru wrote with a brown heart emoji. Bianca's character has been front and center in recent episodes, engaging in dramatic battles that showcase both her physical prowess and emotional depth. Following the Kapuso show's premiere, Ruru dedicated a message to his girlfriend. 'Alam ko kung gaano mo 'to pinangarap. Mitena steals Brilyante ng Apoy; captures Cassiopeia
Mitena (Rhian Ramos) has now all four gems in her possession after stealing the Brilyante ng Apoy from Pirena (Glaiza De Castro). On Tuesday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," Pirena attempted to take Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) and Flamarra (Faith Da Silva) to the mortal world to escape Mitena's reign of terror. When they reached the Asnamon Tree, the portal to the other world, it was already open and the Brilyante ng Apoy gave Pirena a warning. She told her daughter and nephew to hide while she readied to face the enemy. Mitena used the three gems to find Pirena's location and later arrived with Zaur (Gabby Eigenmann) and Damon (Jon Lucas). The two Mine-a-ve generals fought Pirena, but she used the Brilyante ng Apoy to beat them back. When Mitena joined the fray, Pirena lost the battle and her Brilyante. She used the distraction to back away to the Asnamon Tree, but Zaur gave her a parting shot and a wound to the leg. Mitena then used her scepter to close the Asnamon Tree with ice. Afterwards, Mitena sought out Cassiopeia (Solenn Heussaff), who was still sleeping from the dart fired by Anaca (Mika Salamanca). She woke up the Hara Durie up using the power of her scepter. Cassiopeia acknowledged her as a sister, but Mitena refused to recognize their blood relation after her forced exile to Mine-a-ve. Like what she did with Alena, Armea, and Danaya, she captured Cassiopeia and trapped her in a crystal. Encantadia's fate now hinges on Danaya's daughter Terra (Bianca Umali), who is still a baby in the mortal world, and Pirena, the only one left to protect her. Mitena captures Danaya, Armea; steals Brilyante ng Lupa
Mitena (Rhian Ramos) has been collecting queens like Thanos collects Infinity Stones. Monday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" showed Mitena capturing former queen of Lireo Danaya (Sanya Lopez) and current queen of Sapiro Armea (Ysabel Ortega). Armea was the first to confront Mitena to seek revenge for her mother, Alena (Gabbi Garcia), who was previously captured by the Ice Queen. Mitena used her scepter to torture Armea and trapped her inside a crystal, like she did with Alena. Later, Pirena (Glaiza De Castro) fought many Mine-a-ve soldiers to engage Mitena in battle. Pirena and Mitena clashed in a fierce showdown, wielding the powers of the Brilyante ng Apoy and the Brilyante ng Tubig—the latter of which Mitena had stolen earlier. While Pirena was on the brink of defeat, Danaya arrived just in time to help her sister in the battle against Mitena, wielding the power of the Brilyante ng Lupa. Using her powers and scepter, Mitena attempted to absorb Danaya and Pirena's gems. When they realized what happened, Pirena cast the "Ivictus" spell and vanished from the battlefield. Danaya failed to disengage like Pirena and Mitena succeeded in seizing the Brilyante ng Lupa. She was later trapped inside a crystal, just as Mitena had done with Armea and Alena. Inside the crystal, Danaya prayed to Emre for Terra's safety and protection in the mortal world, choosing to conceal her child's true identity and powers until she comes of age. Meanwhile, another major character died in the episode: Azulan, Pirena's husband and Flamarra's father. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Network at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
