Why Fans Think Roman Reigns Will Return to WWE Soon

Roman Reigns has been off WWE TV since the explosive fallout after WrestleMania 41, where he was taken out by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Since then, fans have been wondering when The Tribal Chief will return. And based on this week's RAW, many believe it could be sooner than expected. All signs for Roman Reigns' WWE return listed During Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins made his entrance with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. All four wore sharp suits, and while their look didn't mirror The Shield's signature gear, longtime fans picked up on a familiar vibe. Commentary added to the speculation, with Pat McAfee noting how Rollins hasn't had this kind of backup since his Shield days with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Advertisement No hand signs. No tactical gear. But the comparison wasn't accidental, as WWE rarely drops nostalgia without purpose. This felt like a subtle breadcrumb for fans paying attention. Another big flag was Paul Heyman's sudden shift in tone. After weeks of avoiding any mention of Reigns, Heyman went out of his way to take shots at him. While hyping up Bronson Reed, he quipped that Reed had hurt Rollins more in one night than Roman had in a decade. For someone who once stood by Reigns' side for years, that kind of insult felt especially loaded. And to top it off, Heyman closed his speech by asking the crowd to acknowledge Rollins. Moreover, right now, the balance in WWE's main event scene feels a little lopsided. Rollins' crew is stacked, while CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and occasionally Jey Uso are struggling to keep up. Roman Reigns, who was betrayed by Heyman and beaten down by Rollins, would make sense to return to WWE. Advertisement Additionally, there was talk of Reigns returning for Money in the Bank 2025, but Rollins being announced for the ladder match makes that unlikely. If Rollins is in that match, the teased tag team showdown can't happen — at least not there. This shift has fans speculating that Reigns' comeback could be saved for a bigger moment, possibly SummerSlam. Seth Rollins Teases a Rematch With Logan Paul

Last night on Monday Night Raw, The Visionary Seth Rollins had a conversation with Logan Paul backstage. Seth Rollins mentioned that Jey Uso will be taken out by Bron Breakker in the main event. He also claimed that this will make things easy for Logan Paul at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Visionary then stated that if the Maverick manages to dethrone Jey Uso, and survives Gunther on the June 9th episode of Raw, then he will be facing Seth Rollins next. Rollins hinted that the two could finally have their WrestleMania rematch and this time the top prize on the Red Brand will be on the line. Advertisement 'Hey, hey, I get it, I get it, I get it. Just hear me out man! You have a big match coming up this Saturday, World Heavyweight Championship shot for you. Jey Uso is going to get hurt tonight. He stuck his nose into my business where he didn't belong and he's going to pay for it. And whether he walks out of Greenville [or] he's wheeled out of here on a stretcher, come Saturday, he's not going to be a 100%. Which means the odds are in your favor. And if you can get past Gunther, I'll be waiting on the other side for it. You will know who to thank if you got that World Heavyweight Title on your shoulder. Maybe, we run it back from WrestleMania a couple of year ago, except this time, World Heavyweight Championship's on the line. Think about it,' Seth Rollins said. WWE Raw results, highlights (May 26): Seth Rollins qualifies for Money In the Bank

"WWE Raw" was in Tampa to follow Saturday Night's Main Event festivities, and the pro wrestling world needed some answers from Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. The Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed supported group kicked off the night, as they remain the focal point of Monday's weekly program. Money In the Bank is right around the corner, and the rest of the ladder match participants are slowly getting determined, including the latest addition in Rollins. Advertisement Let's get into it. 🙄Plot hole(s) of the Night It's not a surprise that WWE won't explain why Reed is suddenly cool with Seth Rollins after trying to murder him the last time they were in the ring together. To start "WWE Raw," Paul Heyman did his best to surgically repair the loose puzzle pieces of this picture. Reed was proclaimed to have done more damage to Rollins in one night than Rollins' latest rivals could in several outings. That wasn't necessarily wrong, and it made sense why they would want to recruit someone like that. What doesn't make sense is why Reed would join the guy he tried to turn into a pancake. Heyman implied, without saying, that it was because Reed couldn't get a push thanks to how much fear he instilled in the roster and the old "PG era." OK, let's just accept all of that because we have to. It's not great, but it is what it is, and makes Reed look somewhat weak, or more so, low on confidence in his ability to get where he wants to be without help. Advertisement Meanwhile, Rollins utilized his mic time brilliantly as he typically does. He has had a weird relationship with the crowd since WrestleMania 41. He gets cheered upon arrival, then booed on the mic, and he pointed it out. The crowd seemingly started chanting just to chant because they called Rollins a sellout, which also makes no sense. Rollins played into it, stating facts before receiving a loud "F*** you." It was all a good diversion from a Reed explanation, let's put it that way. Things got even more convoluted when Rollins took on Sami Zayn and Finn Balor in their Money In the Bank triple-threat qualifier. Uncrowned readers know I'm never one to complain about a triple-threat match, and want to see them play out without interference. However, this was a very unique case where you had two members of stables (Rollins and Balor) involved. First of all, The Judgment Day gets involved in what feels like 99% of every match their members are in. Secondly, Rollins is essentially trying to run WWE, so why wouldn't he have Reed and Bron Breakker instantly aid him in attacking his opponents and getting the win? In terms of story beats, the match should have turned into an unofficial trios match of sorts with The Judgment Day helping Balor, and poor Zayn just taking his beating in the middle. (Because we know Jey Uso never cares about helping him.) Instead, the overbooking didn't come until the end of the match. Advertisement This was mostly a clean, brilliant triple-threat. Breakker and Reed finally showed up when Zayn almost had the match won, then Uso, surprisingly, tried to help, before Dominick Mysterio sent in a chair to help Balor. Well, that was the plan, anyway. But Mysterio "accidentally" slid it into place for Balor to take a stomp and eat the pin. CM Punk came out to close the show and hit Rollins with a GTS, so you have to assume he'll once again thwart Rollins' hopes of winning in the Money In the Bank match. Like this one though, Reed and Breakker should come out right away because they can. I'm OK with how it all played out — because it gave us some good wrestling to watch — but let's be honest, it actually doesn't make sense, which is kind of hilarious. 🔥Banger of the Night A triple-threat match every week should be mandatory. Money In the Bank season is just too good, and Penta vs. Dragon Lee vs. Chad Gable was as incredible as you'd expect. Advertisement These guys delivered what felt like a title match with their quick and hard-hitting moves. Thanks to the no-DQ nature of a three-way, El Hijo del Vikingo got involved ringside to stop his upcoming opponent, Gable. It didn't impact a potential win, really, but it helped tease their match. From Gable nearly breaking his neck when Penta carried both men, to Lee launching into Penta over the announce table. This match kicked all the ass, and Penta scored the win after the Penta Driver on Lee. Now I wish even more that Rey Fenix also qualified for the Los Angeles ladder match. 👍MONDAY NIGHT MONEY👍 1. Rusev (rightfully) squashed Akira Tozawa in no time at all, winning with The Accolade. If that Gunther feud I hoped for can't happen, the next best thing will be Sheamus, I suppose. The latter came out to confront the Belarusian and save Tozawa. 2. The New Day retained their World Tag Team titles in a triple-threat match against American Made and The War Raiders. It was fun, while not overly spectacular. The story was New Day and American Made working together before Xavier Woods ultimately pulled the tights mid-roll-up on one of the Creeds to get the pin. It feels like something is being delayed for The New Day, but it's hard to tell what. 3. Any time The Judgment Day shenanigans fail, it's a good result. That's precisely what happened in Liv Morgan's first match post-production of her new movie. Because of Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez's curfuffle outside the ring, Morgan fell short via a roll-up to Kairi Sane. It was a solid first collision between the pair, and more importantly, it keeps the dissension building in Morgan's faction. 4. Give us what we want and push Karrion Kross, Triple H. The guy better join the crop of wrestlers in the Money In the Bank ladder match. 👎RAW DEAL👎 1. Netflix's involvement in WWE means Netflix promotional segments — like the quick plug for Tom Segura's new show Bad Thoughts. Bert Kreischer was by his side because he can't live without attention. A quick glance at the actors in the crowd is good enough. We don't need scripted interviews. 2. Jey Uso and Gunther had a very slow and repetitive promo battle. Uso honestly might have forgotten his lines, because it all felt off. Each world title's booking since WrestleMania 41 has been rough. Next, Uso and Cody Rhodes battle Logan Paul and John Cena in an utterly pointless tag team match at Money In the Bank. Gunther and Uso then rematch for the World Heavyweight title on the following "WWE Raw." Advertisement If ruining wrestling truly is the goal, like Cena says, then WWE is succeeding atop its billing. 3. Becky Lynch has received an Intercontinental title rematch against the champion Lyra Valkyria at Money In the Bank — by losing her Money In the Bank qualifier match last week. Valkyria tried to justify it with a promo, stating how personal it was for her. Sure. That doesn't make it make sense. On the flip side, Valkyria was brilliant with her time given. (Outside of her and Lynch starting to bring up their partners.) 👑 Uncrowned Gem of the Night 👑 Unfortunately, nothing overly stood out on this "WWE Raw," but we'll give some love to Miss Morgan. Advertisement Personally, I can't stand Morgan's character, and that's because she's so damn good at it. She plays her role oh so well, in and out of the ring. Morgan has become the central piece of The Judgment Day, and despite my hopes of a break-up sooner than now, WWE has actually crafted this slow dissolution, or change, quite cleverly. And that's thanks to Morgan. Morgan wanted a Money In the Bank qualifier match as one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions. So, it will be interesting to see if she still gets one after the loss to Sane. 👑 I give this "WWE Raw" a Crown score of: 6/10.👑

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Results, Winners And Grades On May 24, 2025

John Cena vs. R-Truth at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. WWE Saturday Night's Main Event advertised five matches, including John Cena's impending destruction of R-Truth, Jey Uso defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul and a Steel Cage Match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. The event opened with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker prevailing over Sami Zayn and CM Punk with help from the returning Bron Breakker. The main event wold title match between Logan Paul and Jey Uso saw the return of Cody Rhdoes. SNME began with Joe Tessitore and Jesse Ventura, who is down to zero F's to give. When asked about his prediction for Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul, Ventura asked 'do you think Mike Tyson takes another dive?' Seth Rollins was wearing his 2022 visionary jacket. As fans chanted for CM Punk, they had to wait for Sami Zayn's entrance first. Nevertheless, Zayn got a good reaction. Fans returned to chanting for Punk, who got another big pop similar to the pop he received on Raw. This started as a four-man fistfight with Punk and Zayn standing tall early. The heels got the upper hand after Breakker hit Zayn with a clothesline from the apron and followed up with a flying clothesline on the table. Fans barked. Rollins and Breakker are a top heel stable, but they get babyface reactions. Pat McAfee noted Team Rollins doesn't have a name for its stable yet, to which Michael Cole responded that the faction is still in its 'developmental stages.' Punk blew a fiery comeback that received 'this is awesome' chants from a hot crowd. Paul Heyman grabbed Sami Zayn's leg as he was going for a Helluva Kick, opening the door for the surprise return of Bronson Reed, who plowed CM Punk through a barricade. Breakker and Bronson teased a showdown, but Rollins embraced Reed and the two monsters shook hands. Now that Team Rollins has a third member, they can finally come up with a name. Chelsea Green cut a raspy pre-match promo, and Michael Cole celebrated the fact that Chelsea Green has lost her voice. Vega's new theme song sounds too similar to the SmackDown theme 'Neva Play.' Zelina Vega spent the early minutes of the match paying homage to Rey Mysterio, before taking a wicked power bomb from Green on the outside. There were faint 'Chelsea' chants as Green took control of Vega with her heel offense. Vega hit an extremely ugly looking 619 on Green. Fans booed in what was already a lukewarm match. Vega made up for it with an impressive Code Red from the top rope for the win. Chelsea had a bloody nose for her troubles. WWE aired a beautiful video package about John Cena's heel turn, and R-Truth didn't appear in a single second of it. After John Cena's entrance, R-Truth walked out to the exact same theme music, with similar ring gear to Cena's. Enter 'Ron Cena.' Fans chanted 'you can't wrestle/yes he can!' early into this dominant match. Just as Cena was headed for a squash, R-Truth countered an AA attempt with a Ron Cena comeback of his own. Truth hit Cena with a Five Knuckle Shuffle and an AA for a nearfall. Fans were into it, chanting 'let's go Truth!' Cena took control and considered a belt shot. R-Truth's forlorn look made Cena reconsider as he gave the belt back to the referee to huge cheers. As soon as the ref turned his back, however, Cena hit a low-blow on Truth and an AA for the win. Cena hit another belt shot before walking out. Fans chanted 'thank you Cena" in his final appearance in Tampa as WWE played the SNME theme music to drown out the chants. Jesse Ventura appeared as a guest on commentary. Drew McIntyre used Damian Priest as a battering ram on the cage early on before the match went to break. Priest gained the advantage by the time SNME came back from break, hitting a Claymore Kick on Drew and a South of Heaven for a nearfall. McIntyre came back with a great superplex from the top of the cage followed by a kip up to a babyface reaction. McIntyre did the '3…2…1…' countdown before the Claymore Kick. These have to be the final days of Heel McIntyre. Ventura questioned the pace of referee's count and asked whether Priest and McIntyre were blown up (not even close). Cole and McAfee did their best to work around him. McIntyre gave Priest a receipt with a South of Heaven on Priest for a nearfall. The Yuengling Center rallied behind McIntyre, chanting 'Oh Drew McIntyre!' McIntyre went for another Claymore on a steel chair in the corner, similar to how he won their WrestleMania match. Priest moved and answered with another South of Heaven for a nearfall. Priest hit McIntyre with a Con-chair-to. This inspired an Edge reference from Cole. Fans chanted 'one more time!' Priest ignored the chants and walked out of the ring to a chorus of boos. Did we just see a double-turn? Ventura complained about Priest winning a cage match by walking out of the door, similar to how Seth Rollins beat CM Punk in their Steel Cage Match. Prior to Jey Uso's latest title defense, John Cena confronted him. Uce reminded Cena of the last time they were in the ring together: when Jey Uso won the 2025 Royal Rumble. At the beginning of the show, Logan Paul's goons appeared to be coaching him on how to defend the 'Yeet.' Cena said he was looking forward to the next time he sees Uce. Cena said he'd be watching closely, and suggested Jey Uso losing the strap to a YouTuber would 'ruin wrestling.' It's clear WWE wanted fans to stay tuned in, in the off chance that Cena interferes. Very clever. There was no pre-match introductions, instead, Lillian Garcia performed the intros during each entrance. Logan Paul dominated early as SNME went to break. Paul went for a Snapshot Lariat and ate a superkick for his troubles. Paul sent Uso flying into an exposed middle turnbuckle followed by a right hand that missed by a mile. WWE was wise to show the replay from an angle that looked like he connected. As fans chanted 'FU Logan!' John Cena hit the ring and interrupted a three count by pulling the referee out of the ring. Cena pummeled Uso as he made good on his promise to help a YouTuber win the world title. Enter Cody Rhodes, who stopped Cena's attack to an enormous pop. Paul missed wildly with a pair of brass knuckles as Jey Uso hit a Frog Splash for the win. Rhodes challenged Cena and Paul to a tag team match alongside Jey Uso at Money in the Bank.
