People Reveal "Propaganda" They're "Not Falling For"
If you drop a conversational buzzword like conspiracy, universal lie, or overrated...I am INSTANTLY hooked! As long as you don't try to convince me that the world is flat, I eat that stuff the more controversial it gets. So when Reddit user Winter_Sherbet_4247 asked, "What common propaganda are you not falling for?" I had to share some of the responses – the tame AND the unhinged ones. So let's go... Skin care. Work is everything. Having children fulfills people. Trad-wives are anti-feminist. Cops are heroes. Being happy all the time. Therapy. Personal realities are "truth." Organic food. Dairy. A happy childhood involves spoiling. Hype-bosses trying to inspire. Chemicals for grass. Air fryers. Companies controlling your desires and happiness. Seasonal and constantly trending wardrobes. Smart homes are smart. Being "the bigger person." Food colouring causes hyperactivity. Anti-vax. And lastly: "Watevva da orange man says." I have some of my own – like the morning shed, recording multiple videos on your phone during concerts, and minimalism home decor – but tell me the propaganda YOU are not falling for in the comments and if you fall into the niche "dairy propaganda" category. One of my latest hyperfixations has been none other than DINOSAURS. The more I learn about them, the more intriguing they are. Like, I cannot stop thinking about the fact that they were around for 165 million years and humans have only existed for a couple hundred thousand. Mind = blown. Of course, we also know how some dinosaurs may have looked, thanks to fossils (and the talented artists who produce mockups based on those fossils). "Jersey Shore" Then Vs. Now, 15 Years After Premiere
If you weren't a literal child in the late 2000s, you were undoubtedly watching Jersey Shore. Call me bold for saying this, but it could very well be the most entertaining reality show ever. They truly don't make 'em like Jersey Shore anymore... ...or, wait, actually they DO! On May 29, Season 8 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation comes out — which is over 15 years after the original Jersey Shore premiered. (YES. FIFTEEN FREAKIN' YEARS.) And regardless of whether you've been watching every single season or have kinda lost touch with the Jersey Shore folks (guilty), it's shocking looking back on how much has changed over the past 15 years.
