The call focused on strengthening military and strategic coordination under the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), a landmark pact that HRH described as a driver of Bahrain-US bilateral cooperation. Pact Reaffirmed HRH Prince Salman stressed the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to enhancing regional and global peace efforts. He highlighted the value of C-SIPA in reinforcing joint readiness and aligning regional security strategies with US-led efforts. His Royal Highness noted that the Bahrain-US relationship rests on deep-rooted military and defence collaboration, which has evolved into one of the region's most robust security partnerships. Stability Highlighted The conversation also underscored the pivotal role of the United States in ensuring regional and international stability. Both sides exchanged views on current developments and common priorities shaping the Middle East security landscape. HRH Prince Salman reiterated that Bahrain remains a committed partner in advancing peace and countering threats in coordination with allies across the Gulf and beyond. Continued Coordination The strategic dialogue follows a series of high-level engagements between Manama and Washington in recent months, aimed at operationalising C-SIPA and expanding its scope across both defence and prosperity tracks.

H.E. Dr. Al Zayani Calls for Global Efforts to End Conflicts in the Middle East
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, has reiterated the urgent need for peace, security, and stability in the Middle East, emphasizing the region's prolonged struggles with conflict and destruction. Speaking at a roundtable discussion organized by the Hudson Institute in Washington, Dr. Al Zayani highlighted the international community's responsibility to uphold its legal and humanitarian obligations to end conflicts and alleviate the suffering of affected populations. Call for Action Dr. Al Zayani pointed out that Arab states are actively pursuing a just and comprehensive peace in the region. He referenced the Arab Summit hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in May 2024, where leaders adopted an initiative calling for an international peace conference to resolve the Palestinian issue based on a two-state solution and in line with international agreements. He stressed the importance of reinforcing the values of peace, coexistence, tolerance, and cooperation among nations, urging global stakeholders to take decisive steps toward a lasting resolution. Regional Developments The discussion also covered developments in the Middle East and the ongoing conflicts impacting regional security and stability. Dr. Al Zayani highlighted the necessity of collaborative regional and international efforts to advance the peace process. Additionally, he underscored the role of think tanks in shaping policies that promote peace and security. He emphasized the importance of in-depth research to explore viable pathways to stability in the Middle East and beyond. Strengthening Bilateral Relations Dr. Al Zayani commended the strong commitment of Bahrain and the United States to enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors. He stressed the importance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which provides both nations with opportunities to expand collaboration in trade, science, and technology. The session was attended by H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the U.S., alongside experts from the Hudson Institute and members of the Minister's delegation.
