Rhea Ripley crashes Lady Gaga's coffin at Netflix Tudum, leaves fans stunned

Superstar Rhea Ripley turned heads at the Netflix Tudum 2025 event with an unexpected yet fittingly gothic entrance. Known for her bold persona and love for theatrics, Ripley stole the spotlight after emerging from 's stage coffin, much to the surprise of fans and fellow attendees. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Ripley shared the moment on X (formerly Twitter), posting a video of herself climbing out of a sleek black-and-white coffin labeled 'Here Lies the Monster Queen.' The coffin had been used earlier by pop icon Lady Gaga during her Wednesday-themed performance at Tudum. Alongside the video, Ripley wrote: 'Sorry @ladygaga I accidentally broke into your coffin 💀 #TADUM #Wednesday' The cheeky post quickly went viral, with fans applauding Ripley's sense of humor. The video was shot by CM Punk, who was also present at the event. WWE's Tudum segment gets heated Ripley wasn't alone at the event. She was joined by fellow WWE stars Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, The New Day, and CM Punk. Together, they took the stage to promote WWE's upcoming Netflix series, WWE: Unreal. But things took a dramatic turn when Liv Morgan called out Ripley during their segment, referencing their storyline history. Morgan jokingly accused her of 'stealing Dirty Dominik,' reigniting tensions in front of the live audience. The moment grew tense until CM Punk stepped in to separate the two, once again playing peacemaker. Fans divided over potential renewed feud The segment sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some fans were thrilled by the confrontation and speculated a feud revival, others felt the angle had run its course. 'Can they pls just stop fighting 😭😭,' one fan commented under a viral clip. Another added, 'Even though we saw them go at it, I have no interest in another feud between them… maybe in 2027.' Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Despite the divided opinions, the segment generated buzz around WWE's partnership with Netflix. The Tudum event showcased more than just WWE's stars. Highlights included new trailers for major shows like One Piece Season 2 and a theatrical performance by Lady Gaga herself. Rhea Ripley's coffin cameo may not have been part of the script, but it certainly added flair to the festivities. Whether Gaga responds or not, Ripley's stunt perfectly blurred the line between wrestling entertainment and mainstream spectacle - just as WWE intended.

Netflix Tudum 2025: Full list of shows, games expected

Netflix is counting on devoted fans of "Stranger Things," "Squid Game" and "Wednesday" to tune in to its streaming service Saturday night. But they won't log in to see new episodes of those most popular shows. Instead, viewers will be greeted with sneak peeks and cast reunions, as part of Tudum, an occasional in-person marketing event for Netflix that the company has turned into a streamed variety show. Think marketing as entertainment. The show, expected to last from 90 to 120 minutes, will emphasize the company's three most popular series, two of which will end this year ("Squid Game" and "Stranger Things") and one that is returning ("Wednesday"). Lady Gaga will be on hand to perform a miniconcert. Her song "Bloody Mary" became a viral sensation when fans paired a version of it with a dance from "Wednesday." Lady Gaga also has a cameo on the show in Season 2. Netflix, which signed a 10-year, $5 billion deal last year for World Wrestling Entertainment's flagship show, "Raw," will bring out some WWE stars such as CM Punk and Rhea Ripley to extol their love for other Netflix content. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will promote their new film, "The Rip." Cookie Monster will make an appearance as part of Netflix's new deal to stream "Sesame Street." And AJ McLean, a member of the Backstreet Boys, will promote a new reality show, "Building the Band." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play War Thunder now for free War Thunder Play Now Undo The event illustrates Netflix's growing appetite for streaming live events. In just the past year, the company has lured giant audiences to the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, two NFL games on Christmas Day, and a roast of former quarterback Tom Brady. And it has plans to do much more. Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will get a rematch in July at Madison Square Garden as part of an all-female boxing card, and the NFL will return to the service again on Christmas. Netflix's Brazilian marketing team originated the Tudum event in 2020 after seeing how active Netflix fans were at events such as Brazil Comic-Con. The first iteration pulled in about 50,000 people over four days. Netflix revived the event in 2023, after the COVID-19 pandemic subsided, luring 35,000 to the festival. The event generated more than 78 million views across the company's social channels, including a livestream on YouTube. Live Events The first two Tudum events were held in Sao Paulo in 2020 and in 2023. Thousands of Brazilians waited in line to attend those multiday events. Saturday's event, though, will be held in Los Angeles, at the Kia Forum, starting at 5 p.m. Pacific. The 9,500 tickets, which went on sale May 9 for $25 to $75, sold out in a week. What differentiates those events from Tudum 2025 is that Netflix is now eager to exploit its live capabilities. The company has teamed up with Silent House Productions, its partner on the SAG Awards and the producer of the concert film for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, to produce the event. Netflix's marketing team under Lee began planning this year's version of Tudum over a year ago, this time working closely with its content team to tailor the event to those in the stands and to those on their couches. FAQs Q1. When is Netflix Tudum 2025 ? A1. Netflix Tudum 2025 is schedule on Saturday, May 31. Q2. When did Netflix Tudum first happen? A2. The first two Tudum events were held in Sao Paulo in 2020 and in 2023.

CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano to lock horns in Money in the Bank qualifier on WWE RAW

The road to the Money in the Bank 2025 Ladder Match reaches its final turn on the June 2 episode of WWE Raw. In a triple-threat match, CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano will clash for the sole remaining spot in the men's ladder match, set to take place on June 7. Solo Sikoa, Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Andrade, and Penta have already secured their spots in the MITB Ladder Match. One spot remains, which will be fought among the WWE Raw stars. The announcement came during the May 30 episode of WWE Smackdown, revealing that AJ Styles and CM Punk will face each other for the first time inside a WWE ring since the 2025 Royal Rumble. While they've never met in a singles or triple threat match in WWE before, their highly acclaimed matches in Ring of Honor back in 2004 make this a must-watch. However, both stars come to the match with rivalries brewing. Seth Rollins remains the key obstacle in CM Punk's title chase CM Punk makes a surprise appearance on #WWERaw to make Seth Rollins GTS. 🔥 CM Punk's road to this qualifier is filled with tension, mainly because of his ongoing feud with Seth Rollins and the newly formed faction, which includes Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. The rivalry heated up recently when Punk ran from behind to hit Rollins with a surprise GTS on last week's Raw, leaving the faction stunned. This bitter feud dates back to earlier clashes, such as the triple threat match at WrestleMania 41, where Seth Rollins defeated CM Punk and Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman's help. More recently, Rollins' faction, with Bronson Reed's support, secured a victory over Punk and Sami Zayn in a tag team match on Saturday Night's Main Event, adding more fuel to the fire. Seth Rollins has already qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, where CM Punk may end up facing him if the 'Second City Saint' qualifies in the upcoming WWE Raw episode. AJ Styles and El Grande Americano clash amid rivalry Chad Gable just got cooked by AJ Styles #WWERAW AJ Styles enters this qualifier with his own set of grievances, particularly towards El Grande Americano. Styles suspects that El Grande is, in fact, Chad Gable, who allegedly assisted The Judgment Day in a previous tag team match against Styles and Penta. This suspicion led to a backstage altercation where Styles attacked Gable, further fueling the animosity between them. Chad Gable, having previously failed to qualify on May 26, sees this match as a second chance to prove himself (as El Grande Americano). As the final spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match hangs in the balance, the intertwining rivalries and personal vendettas promise a thrilling and unpredictable contest on Raw.

TNA Tried To Sign CM Punk Before WWE Return

CM Punk was on TNA's radar, but how close were they to actually signing him? CM Punk was fired by AEW in 2023, and rumors persisted about what his next step would be. There was a rumor going around that TNA tried to sign him, and fans speculated that he could show up at that year's Bound For Glory event, which took place in Chicago. Advertisement Now, former TNA executive Scott D'Amore confirmed he did attempt to sign CM Punk. He shared more details on the poorly-kept secret in his new D'Amore Drop column on The Uncrowned. Scott D'Amore confirms he spoke with CM Punk about signing with TNA 'As much as I enjoy the other three, the man who has captured my attention here is CM Punk. Phil Brooks turns 47 years old this fall. Time has almost caught him, and this amazing run he's on in the WWE will be over all too soon. Every time he's out there, despite him never breaking character, you can see Phil behind CM Punk's eyes, just taking it all in,' D'Amore wrote. 'It wasn't a well-kept secret that I tried to sign Phil to TNA after things with AEW fell apart. I knew it was a long shot. I knew I was asking him to work in smaller arenas than he had in a long time,' he continued. 'He listened; he was interested. He never big-timed TNA once, and he conducted himself the way we'd all wish a professional would. Ultimately, he went back to WWE, which, of course, is where he belongs.' Advertisement CM Punk ultimately returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 and the rest seems to be history. He overcame injuries and completed an incredibly successful feud with Drew McIntyre and main evented WrestleMania for the first time this year in Las Vegas. Here's What The ‘CM' In CM Punk Stands For

What does the 'CM' in CM Punk stand for? The question is probably as old as Phil Brooks' pro wrestling career. However, there is a (somewhat) logical answer to the age-old debate as it pertains to his now-iconic initials. The official Roots of Fight Instagram account recently dropped a new ad for CM Punk merchandise. The sweatshirt is a throwback to Punk's hometown roots in Chicago, with the caption in the carousel of photos referring to the WWE superstar as 'Chicago Made,' aka CM. Advertisement 'CM has always stood for one thing: Chicago Made. I was born and raised in Chicago. The city made me,' CM Punk was quoted as saying. The 'CM' didn't always stand for Chicago Made, according to CM Punk himself The Roots Of Fight ad takes a more straightforward approach. However, Punk has cycled between different answers when asked to explain his pro wrestling initials. The Straight Edge Superstar explained the origins of his initials in a 2006 interview with IGN. 'Originally it stood for Chick Magnet,' Punk said at the time. 'I got put into a tag team with this other dude on a whim because somebody didn't show up to a show. It was only supposed to be a one-shot deal, I wasn't even ready to wrestle yet, I didn't have gear or anything, they just put me in the ring and beat the crap out of me. I had to come back the next month and the next month and it was something that stuck.' Advertisement 'I tried to get rid of it, and it wound up getting shortened to the initials. [It] was always Punk, but Chick Magnet at least got shortened to CM. I tell people it stands for C. Montgomery Burns, as in Mr. Burns from The Simpsons. I tell people they are initials for my real name, Chuck Mosley, which is not true at all. I'll say it stands for Crooked Moonsault, Charles Manson…Cookie Monster is another good one.'
