Can Cam Ward change the culture in Tennessee? | Inside Coverage Jason Fitz, Charles Robinson, and Frank Schwab share their thoughts on the Tennessee Titans and if Cam Ward can come in and be a bright spot for the team long term. View more Video Transcript I'm wise of this team, but to an extent, I don't think they're going to win a ton of games. Advertisement They're not the 2023 Texans. They're not the 2024 command. Where are you on the under 5, 5.5. Where are you at? I can see them getting the 6. I mean just because there's there's soft spots in their schedule and but it's going to be close. Like they might win 5, they might win 6. There's going to be some coin flip game in there that determines it. So I don't think they're going to be good, but I do believe in Cam Ward. Like you talked about Charles, I think they get to the end of the season and they're like, we got a dude at quarterback. Let's get to work building this roster. And that's the difference between last year. Advertisement Last year I was like, uh, Will Levis, maybe he had some flashes, but, and it quickly fell apart there, right? Obviously. Cam Ward, I think, gives them hope for the future, and I think he's gonna play like that. He has played well everywhere he's gone. I like the fact that he was in 3 different programs in college and succeeded in all of them. He's kind of from a zero star recruit to. Number one pick of the draft. I like that path for him. He's already been on the bottom. He's dragged himself to be, uh, you know, the again, the first pick of the NFL draft. So I that that's the one thing. The Titans roster really is not good. Advertisement They're a pretty boring team, trust me. I've already written the preview. It's not that exciting for the Tennessee Titans except a quarterback where I think that we're gonna feel pretty good about the trajectory of the Titans going forward because of that one dude. I think Cam Ward's gonna have a really nice rookie season. Another guy I thought real quick, one other thing too with the Titans. And I only bring this up because somebody said it to me the other day, they were talking about, uh, like the, the Titans draft and well, a couple of different teams drafts or whatever. And uh it was it was another personnel man, and he really liked the Texas tight end they drafted, Gunner Helm, like he was like, man, he's like, he's like, I think they might have actually gotten a dude. Advertisement And people are going to be stunned that that guy's gonna end up being a really great tight end in the NFL. And I, I don't know why that just stuck out in my mind. So maybe it's not just Cam. Maybe, maybe it's, it's, it's Cam doing well, but also maybe it's a draft class where you're like, OK, they got a good draft class under their belt, like, this is how you do it. This is how you start to build that foundation. Uh, by the way, Gunner Holm, I drafted in one of my, uh, fantasy leagues when we did our one of our dynasty leagues. Uh, I just drafted him. I can't wait to tell this guy fits. I know, and now he's gonna be feel reaffirmed. Advertisement Uh, so I thought the Titans were gonna be a top 3 pick in the draft last year. I thought they were gonna suck. I am in repeat on the Titans. Uh, I don't, I haven't seen anything that makes me think that I should have a ton of faith in Callahan. And if we're just being honest, you're right. Frank, it's not a great roster. It wasn't a great roster sometimes when F Vrabel just bootstrapped him and they still won football games. I just don't have proof of concept to the head coaching position. I think the most likely solution, I would take the under right now on the Titans. I think a new coach next year from the now new GM is coaching Cam Ward. I still think Cam Ward has a shot to be a very good player in this league. I hope he does, but I, I think it's gonna be a different regime that brings him along. Sorry, Titans fans.

Cam Drops New Single 'Alchemy' After Winning Grammy for Working on Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter'

Cam released her latest single, "Alchemy," on Friday The genre-blending track celebrates the cyclical nature of life, death and each stage in between To accompany the song, Cam released a one-take visual directed by James MackelCam is back with a magical new single. Months after the "Burning House" singer earned a Grammy for her work on Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, the country star released a brand-new single titled "Alchemy." The genre-blending track, which is her first release in over four years, celebrates the cyclical nature of life, death and each stage in between, per a press release. 'I wanted to write something where we just focused on melody, but it turned into a song about reflecting on what we're made of, where we're coming from and where we're going," Cam, 40, said in a press release. To accompany the single, Cam released a one-take visual directed by James Mackel, where she performs the song wearing a black pant suit. "Alchemy" follows the release of Cam's 2020 album The Otherside and 2015's Untamed, which featured her Grammy-nominated single "Burning House." In May 2024, Cam opened up to PEOPLE about working on five Cowboy Carter tracks. On the album, she's credited as a writer on "Ameriican Requiem," "Protector," "Daughter," "Tyrant" and "Amen"; co-producing "Ameriican Requiem," "Daughter" and "Amen"; providing background vocals on "Ameriican Requiem" and "Amen"; and engineering on "Daughter." 'I just think this album is doing incredible things, it's going to keep doing incredible things, and just watching it, it's such a fun ride to be on," Cam said of Cowboy Carter. "I'm so proud of it.' She also opened up about the "surreal" feeling of working with the Lemonade songstress. "I know I said surreal earlier, but it just feels like a dream to have someone who's been at the top of her career over 20-plus years see what you're doing and invite you in, which is a very sacred space for artists. It's a huge honor, and I think it's one of the biggest compliments of my life to be just asked, not even the fact that anything made it or didn't. Just being asked is one of the biggest compliments of my life, yeah," she said. When asked how working on Cowboy Carter inspired her creatively, Cam said she wanted to make music in a way that "honors who I am and who my collaborators are." "I want this in my everyday life too, not just in the studio. I think that those values and just holding onto those, going into the studio every day, is just making music so much more fun. I'm having such a good time, and it sounds great," she said. "[My manager] gave me a shirt that says, "Sounds like bulls--- to me," so we put that up in the studio too, so we don't fall into any bulls--- while we're working. No bulls---." Former Carlisle United prospect makes non-league switch

Former Carlisle United prospect Cameron Salkeld has made FA Trophy finalists Spennymoor Town his latest destination. The midfielder has joined the National League North club ahead of the 2025/26 season. Advertisement It follows his departure from fellow sixth-tier club Darlington. Salkeld, who came through the youth side at Carlisle and made two first-team appearances, scoring once, had been with Darlo for the last two years. Now he makes the switch to another north east outfit. Spennymoor boss Graeme Lee has welcomed the arrival of the former Blue to the Brewery Field. 'The way Cam plays the game suits us down to the ground,' said Lee in a club statement. 'I've said it numerous times that we're at our best when we play with real intensity, and Cam does that with his work rate and the distances he covers during games. Advertisement 'He is full of running, has great ability, good experience and can play in a few different roles so he's someone we're delighted to be adding to our squad for 2025/26.' Salkeld's two senior outings for Carlisle came in the EFL Trophy under Keith Curle in the 2016/17 campaign. He made his debut at 17 as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers' Under-21s in October 2016 before, a month later, coming off the bench to score in a 4-2 win over Fleetwood Town. He also impressed for United's youth team as they reached the fourth round in the same season. He moved on from Carlisle in 2018 and has since had spells at Gateshead, Greenock Morton, Ayr United and Clyde before joining Darlington in 2023. Spennymoor finished ninth in National League North last season as well as reaching the FA Trophy final, where they lost 3-0 to Aldershot Town at Wembley.

Junk are Cam and Jade, who started their business as a blog, which developed into a recipe site that then led to their street food venture within a few months in 2022. Junk restaurant and bar in Newington will close this weekend | Junk Posting on their social media the team wrote: 'Dearest Friends, Family and Guests, 'We are truly devastated to announce the closure of Junk, Bar & Restaurant. We will be opening our doors for the final time this Saturday, 31st May. 'For the past three years, we have poured every ounce of our lives into this business — working countless hours each and every day to try to make it a success. Although we have failed, we are immensely proud of what we have achieved, and so grateful to our incredible team, past and present, for their passion, hard work, and belief they have shared with us every step of the way. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'We started with very little — selling some wee bits in a gazebo one summer, before building and launching a restaurant from scratch. We learned to tile, floor, grout, screed, paint, and plaster. Creating a space that housed our wee dream. All of this was done alongside our talented friend and Head Chef, Stu, who's been with us from day one. We're eternally grateful for your dedication Stuggy. 'To all who have supported us over the last few years, our incredible friends and family, as well as you wonderful folks that have come to eat our Junk - Thank You! Your feedback, kind words, and enthusiasm has pushed us forward to deliver what we believed was great food and service. You helped us realise our dream and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your love and support has meant the world to us. 'To the restaurants still managing to turn a profit in this climate — we commend you. The odds have been firmly stacked against us all. Through passion and sheer hope, we've kept our doors open as long as we possibly could. The heartbreaking reality is that we're one of many businesses either struggling or being forced to close. Please do what you can, if you can, to support local. Our biggest question is: at what point will the leaders of our government and country take action, implement meaningful change, and start supporting small, independent businesses? 'Our final service will be this coming Saturday, 31st May. We'd love for you to come down in these next few days, raise a dram with us, and send Junk off with a bang.'
