AAA offers tips for a budget-friendly summer getaway
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – You may be planning a trip this summer and hoping to make it budget-friendly. AAA Northeast is sharing some money-saving steps for those interested. They say those planning a road trip should fill up their gas tank away from the highway. Stations close to it are more expensive than those further away. They also recommend booking flights during the week. The best price offered is usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And people wanting to get away should look into cruises. Adding rooms, dining, and entertainment is usually included. Naefia Pabi of Springfield told 22News,'This summer we are planning on going to Cancun! My daughter is the one who found the deal for us. The deal that she found is all inclusive, so that's perfect.' According to experts, the top places to visit in the country this summer include Las Vegas, New York City, and Myrtle Beach. Love Island star Jay Younger shares rare photos of ‘Ekin-Su lookalike' girlfriend on romantic getaway
LOVE Island star Jay Younger has shared some rare photos of his 'Ekin-Su lookalike' girlfriend on their latest romantic getaway. Jay, 31, left fans seeing double as he went Instagram official with his stunning new partner last December. 8 8 The 2022 islander - whose bid for love on the ITV2 series ended in a dumping - has, once again, shared loved-up pics with the gorgeous brunette during their Cancun, Mexico holiday. In a pair of snaps, the pair strolled along the sand hand-in-hand, with Jay beaming at his other half as she smiled at the camera. He kept things casual in a white tee and black shorts, while she turned heads in a strapless cream minidress. Other photos showed the beauty, who hasn't been tagged or named, blowing a kiss towards the camera over dinner and snuggled up in bed with a dog. In his caption, Jay wrote: "Mexico 2025." In a string of pics summing up 2024, Jay first revealed the petite brunette to his followers. Among them, they could be seen wrapped up in jackets and snuggled together in New York and riding bikes around London. While the now not-so mystery woman has been shared to the world, Love Island fans couldn't resist disccusing her striking resemblance to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who Jay dated during his time in the villa. Although they didn't quite work out, with Ekin-Su going on to win that year's series with Davide Sanclimenti, it seems the pair are on good terms. In fact, Ekin was one of the first to celebrate his new relationship, responding to the pics and commenting: 'Yes Jay! she's beautiful.' I was on Love Island and producers wouldn't let me pick the girl I wanted But one fan quickly responded: 'she looks EXACTLY like you in the 5th slide' while another noted '@ekinsuofficial I thought it was you 😆' 'I think she looks like Ekin x' said another in the comments. Jay arrived on Love Island as a bombshell during the eighth series on the show, stirring up trouble by taking three of the girls on dates. A couple of days later, Ekin-Su chose to couple up with him. However, the pair's spark quickly fizzled out, with Jay choosing Paige Thorne to couple up with, while Ekin-Su returned to Davide. He later coupled up with Danica Taylor, before meeting Chyna Mills and switching to her during Casa Amor. Jay and Chyna were eventually dumped on Day 35 of the show following a public vote, and Jay later claimed that the producers had too much say in who he coupled up with, affecting his time in the villa. The couple did not remain together on the outside, with Chyna now in a relationship with Strictly Come Dancing pro Neil Jones, with whom she has a baby girl. Jay revealed that just weeks after leaving the villa, he went back to his desk job as an investment analyst. Paige is now being rumoured to be part of next year's All Stars line-up, returning to the villa once more. Love Island All Stars 2025 rumours Love Island All Stars will be back for its second series in 2025 - and rumours are already rife as to who will be making a comeback this time around. After the second All Stars series was announced in May, show boss Mike Spender said: "Lots of people have been in contact about it, lots of fun people, from series one onwards. "We cast it because we knew what was going on behind the scenes of who was getting with who and now even more stories have come out. "I think we will now save ex-islanders for All Stars." One rumoured name for the next series is data engineer Harry Baker. Harry, 25, arrived in the villa as a bombshell in Series 11. He soon 'stole' Grace Jackson after making his debut. Arriving late in the run, he only lasted for a few days before being dumped alongside Lola Deloca. Despite the hunk's brief stint, viewers have called for Harry's return. One upset fan wrote: "Get you in All Stars next", to which Harry cryptically replied by posting 'shrugging' emojis. 8 8 8 8 8 8

UFO zooms past cruise ship at ‘almost imperceptible speed' in eerie video as onlookers gasp ‘what was that?!'
A MYSTERIOUS flying object has left onlookers stunned as it whizzed by a docked cruise ship in the evening hours. The unidentified object was captured on film as the camera focused on the liner in the port. 4 4 As it centered on the docked vessel, a saucer-shaped object was snapped whizzing past the lens at great speed, as reported by What's The Jam. When the footage was slowed down, the alleged UFO appeared to be made of a dark, shiny metallic material. The object seemed to be flying at an almost imperceptible speed. It was filmed by a live webcam on the coast of Cozumel near Cancun, Mexico on May 18. One local said, 'What was that? 'It flew by so fast. What do you think?' A second added: 'Interesting…' Another added: 'An insect, what else?' A fourth remarked: 'A big bird?' The sighting comes after footage surfaced in April of mysterious flying objects menacing a US warship as it faced off against two "Tic Tac" aircrafts. Sailors aboard the USS Jackson claimed to have seen four UFOs in total. The objects were seen taking off in "synchronized" flight off the coast of southern California. The incident took place in February 2023. "All we witnessed was all four of them. All in synchronous, jetting into the abyss," stunned sailors told News 8 at the time. ARE UFO SIGHTINGS RISING? There has been an uptick in UFO sightings since 2024. In December, strange lights were seen in the sky above several US states, most notably New Jersey. Officials claimed that people were likely seeing civilian aircraft, government, military, or drones in the night sky. While the Pentagon insisted at the time that the objects were not dangerous, NJ officials demanded answers. Shortly after the sightings, the House Intelligence Committee held a classified, closed briefing. "One question people should be asking is this: given that this week's official statement said sightings were caused by people misidentifying ordinary drones, aircraft, helicopters, and stars, why was the House Intelligence Committee briefing classified?" world-renowned UFO expert Nick Pope told The U.S. Sun. Pope also expressed his reservations about the response from then-Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding the flying objects. "While I don't want to make this a party political issue, there's no getting away from the fact that one of the people assuring us there's no threat is [Mayorkas], who's been responsible for the chaos at the Southern border for the last few years," Pope said. "This hardly inspires confidence." 4

Hyatt Ziva Cancun — Hotel Review
Set the scene Once through the elegant entrance way, set back from the street via a private road, a dazzling Cancun panorama of cabana- and lounger-framed pools dance their glittery way across your eye line. The salty ocean air and lively music that's piped out over the airwaves creates a low-key party ambiance, leaving you in absolutely no doubt that you are very much On Vacation. The sprawling, airy complex has been designed with personal space in mind, and even though there are 547 rooms and suites, moving between the various buildings with their amenities and pools never feels cramped. The backstory This resort replaced its predecessor (Dreams Cancun) in 2015, so they're just coming up on a decade of operations. Some $85 million was spent on renovations and remodeling, and you can see that money right there in front of you. The Turquoize Tower—a premium, adults-only set of accommodations—was newly added, and the aesthetics were completely modernized and upgraded. The rooms I stayed in a Turquoize Sky Oceanfront Master King, high up on the 11th floor and overlooking one of the swimming pool complexes and further out, the beach and crystalline ocean. There are 15 room and suite variations (including a breathtakingly-large Presidential suite), with options for various budgets, families and couples alike. Almost all of them have sea views, or look out over the locally-famous Punta Cancun with its rocky promontory and lighthouse. I had 700 square feet of space to luxuriate into, the highlight of which was a private, ocean-facing terrace, complete with hot tub. The interior neutral, earthy tones reflect the coastal sands, and there's naturally every modern convenience and a personal butler service in case you're in need of suggestions or advice. A huge, walk-in rain shower and his-and-hers vanities add to the premium experience. Food and drink There are 20 dining and drinking options, including everything from relaxed cafes and juice bars to 50s-themed diners (complete with Instagram-worthy full-sized vintage cars) and swim-up cocktail spots. There's enough variety to satisfy any palate, and definitely an ambiance for any occasion. For a high-end, gourmet experience that would grace an anniversary or landmark birthday, there's La Bastille French Brasserie. I dined there on my last night at the resort, and it was an idyllic topper to my stay, with authentic Gallic dishes, a great wine list and the serenity afforded by a child-free policy. The spacious nature of the complex means that even the more casual options don't feel noisy or crowded, though, even when there are kids around. I loved the up-close teppanyaki work of the Asian chefs at Moongate, and the fresh, in-house made pasta at Italian spot Lorenzos. You could eat at the buffet at Mercado for a month and not get bored (with everything from sushi to classic Mexican cuisine), and a breakfast of chilaquiles on the terrace at Tradewinds in the warm morning sun was nothing but memorable. The neighborhood/area One of Cancun's main tourist areas—the so-named Hotel Zone—is just a couple of minutes' walk away. There you'll find restaurants, nightclubs, gift shops, tequila tasting bars, and the like. You can also walk onto the resort's own stretch of beach and dip your toes in the sands and sea if you want to venture beyond the pools. The service It's a seamless operation from start to finish. The Turquoize Tower has its own private check-desk, and your assigned butlers work in shifts throughout the day. You can keep in touch with them via a WhatsApp chat, and they're incredibly responsive. They'll also send you suggestions and the daily schedules for the constantly-changing, near-endless amount of activities and shows that are on offer every day. I took a couple of beginner-level, morning exercise classes (pilates and yoga), and had a signature massage in their palatial Zen Spa—the entire staff was on point, informative, professional, and approachable. Everyone—from the managers to the baristas to the housekeepers—greets you with a hand-on-heart salute, which feels immediately intimate and sincere. Gratuities are included in the room rate. For families The resort couldn't be more welcoming for families and kids of all ages. The resort has a choice of shallow swimming pools with enough room to splash around, all without annoying anyone, and there's even a mini waterpark. The official onsite Kidz Club has a rotating daily roster of supervised activities, and I saw mixed-age groups of kids giddily throwing themselves into whatever games the staff were directing. There's also a teens' lounge for adolescents who have evolved beyond musical chairs, with more mature amenities such as pool tables and foosball. Accessibility The resort complies with Hyatt's ADA standards; there are ramps and elevators for access to all of the floors that host public spaces, as well as the guest rooms. Anything left to mention? This is among the properties that are setting the standard for premium, all-inclusive stays in Cancun. It can go toe-to-toe with any of the high-end names in the region and has all the amenities, activities, and on-site entertainment options that you could really wish for.
