Caprice says 'I've cheated on my husband' in shock confession
Caprice Bourret is taking the romcom scene by storm, having already produced, starred in, and sold the screening rights to three films. The model-turned-actress, 53, has just finished her fourth film, marking another milestone in her flourishing career. Chatting exclusively with OK! from sunny Ibiza, Caprice shares that these achievements rank highly on her list of proudest moments, second only to her two sons, Jax and Jett. With the boys growing up, she's diving headfirst back into work and loving every minute of it. 'I'm getting better every time, and I'm getting a reputation,' she says, from the set location of her latest movie, A Royal Romance In Ibiza. 'Some people respect me, some people don't like me because they just don't like me, but I am so proud of what I'm doing. I'm working hard and it's paying off'. Here, she tells us more about her exciting film career… I won't beat around the bush here, but I don't care what people say. I'm really proud of what I've done. As a woman, and especially a woman at 53, I want to make good movies. I'm not only doing it, but I sell in 25 different countries, for a budget where I can see a return. For people out there scared to move forward for whatever reason I say, 'If you have a dream, don't worry about the obstacles, go out and do it'. I think I was scared to. Being a model and in my forties, I thought things were finished. But actually with age comes confidence and experience, and now I don't work harder, I work smarter. I'm finally doing what I've always wanted to do. I think I did care what people said, 10 or 15 years ago. Yes, and I think we'd be idiots if we didn't admit it. But let's show everyone that we shouldn't be scared of our age or the fact we're women, or maybe mothers. I don't say, 'I don't care what people think' in an arrogant or disrespectful way, I say it because I want to be an inspiration, I want to show people that regardless of the obstacles, self-imposed or not, we can do it. I've got a great team, that makes a huge difference. I work very efficiently, I'm smarter, I'm better – that comes with experience. My career took a backseat for many years so I could be a mommy, but I want to have a career and I want to work, so I make it work. I was very naive coming into it, I had no idea how hard or time-consuming it would be. Pre-production usually takes me about three-and-a-half months and that's working non-stop every day securing locations, booking actors, organising plane tickets, catering, hotel booking, transport, everything. And then dealing with the traumas on set. We were filming two of five scenes in a restaurant here for this one, and the restaurant manager comes over and says, 'you have to get out, we're fully booked now and I'm not going to lose this kind of money'. So I called my friends and called a few restaurants, and found somewhere to finish the scenes and we didn't lose a day! That's what I mean by working smart. Initially my team will make the first call. If the agent's being difficult, I'll jump in. Then if the agent's being really difficult, I'll find the number of the actor and call them myself! It's ballsy but you've got to do what you've got to do. I remember the first smooch I did. I was so awkward and thought, 'Oh God, I've cheated on my husband!'. But there's always smooching. It's quite a robotic process. With this one, I said to Matt, 'I love this scene in this movie, let's watch it and break it down. You're going to look at me like we're crazy about each other, come closer, touch my cheek, then a very, very slow smooch, then break away and look at me for about three seconds'. That's it, no romance at all. Well, when you have to snog in front of 60 people it's a bit awkward, and of course because my kids have been in my movies, they have to watch me snog somebody! I mean Ty is the love of my life and has no insecurities whatsoever, he finds it all entertaining, but it took Jett a minute. Look, if someone comes to my production and demands this and that and yada, yada, yada, they're going to look like a schmuck. I want people to enjoy working, we have a laugh, I'm not precious about anything. It's not like there's a crazy amount of money in this, I'm doing this because I have a passion for it and I want to make things that myself and my kids are proud of. I have no time for egos. If I said my face was all natural, everyone would know I'm a freaking liar! I love sharing my secrets. I wear SPF 70 every single day, I don't tan from the sun, I get fake tans, and I love Botox, it's fabulous. But I've recently discovered the best thing ever, called CO2 Fractional Laser. It totally tightens the skin, I had so many wrinkles under my eyes but they're all gone. It's insane. I used to take 32 supplements but I'm down to about 20 now. I gave up carbs in January and after the craving went away, I felt fabulous. I've lost about 20lbs since then. It's the first time I've lost weight since the boys were born. But more importantly, I feel really good!

Local senior care facility says it's worried about Medicaid cuts
NORTH LIMA, Ohio (WKBN) — Potential cuts to Medicaid are raising alarms for senior care facilities across the country. In the Mahoning Valley, administrators say they're already struggling to meet the needs of their residents. Behind the doors of Caprice Senior Care, more than 70 residents, many with serious and complex medical needs, receive round-the-clock care from dialysis to tracheotomy support — specialized treatment for patients who can no longer manage on their own. 'The population is getting old, people are living longer with medical advancements. There's a need for long-term care,' said Joey Cilone, a Caprice licensed administrator. Proposed cuts to Medicaid could change that. Up to $880 billion in a new U.S. House of Representatives budget plan has senior care centers such as Caprice bracing for impact. 'We have probably close to 80% of our residents here who use Medicaid. With that decreasing, that's going to be a killer for us. We already get paid about 80 cents on the dollar for Medicaid. If that goes down even farther, we're going to have a hard time keeping the quality up that we're known for,' Cilone said. In Ohio, Medicaid is a primary funding source for long-term care. The new budget would roll back much of the Medicaid expansion introduced under the Affordable Care Act, potentially shrinking the safety net for seniors and people with disabilities. Caprice says it's also facing a staffing shortage, and without adequate reimbursement, competing for top talent becomes difficult. 'That's going to really hurt us. We're not going to be able to get the best talent we need to because we're not going to be able to pay with other industries that can raise their prices. We can't do that,' Cilone said. U.S. Rep. Michael Rulli has expressed concerns over what cuts to Medicaid would do. Caprice continues to champion top-tier care, but without sufficient funding, the path forward looks uncertain. 'We have to work to live within our means here, and if that gets cut, I don't know what the future looks like. Our team will asses it, see what we have to do to continue to give the best care we can, but that will be increasingly difficult if the funding isn't there,' Cilone said.
