Meet the mother and daughter who ditched the Tories to join Reform
Emma Hunt's HGV driver father is old-school Labour, and her mother, Cathy, was once a longtime Tory supporter.
Now the two women, born and bred in the red wall, have been voted in as Reform councillors in the same ward in County Durham. The story of how they became disillusioned with the two major parties is a cautionary tale for Kemi Badenoch and Sir Keir Starmer.
