Brian Austin Green on Shannen Doherty, Luke Perry deaths

Hollywood actor Brian Austin Green has opened up about the deaths of 90210 co-stars Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry, saying the tragedies forced him 'not to take things for granted'. In 2019, Luke Perry, passed away from a catastrophic stroke at 52 years old. And in July last year Shannen Doherty, 53, died from breast cancer after a long battle with the illness. 'Luke's passing was so incredibly sudden. He was young. He was my age now,' Green told Stellar. 'And then Shannen passing, too, hit home the concept of: we're not those kids anymore. 'We're in a new period of life where we have to really value the relationships with people that we have, and not take things for granted, because it's unbelievable how fast you can lose something or someone that seemed so invaluable.' Picture: Getty Images 'Believe me, we kick around the idea of having a second home there – possibly it even ending up being a first home at some point – you never know. When you have kids in school, it's a hard thing to do [to uproot them]. 'So we are looking at all options to see what makes sense. But having a blended family does not make things easy.' Aside from young Zane, the blended family includes Green and former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil's son Kassius, 23, as well as Green's other children Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11 and Journey, eight, with Megan Fox. Burgess, who is originally from Wagga Wagga in regional New South Wales, tells Stellar that their three-year-old son is the glue of the family. 'Having Zane has absolutely bonded everyone together,' Burgess said. 'I was always incredibly close with the kids as our relationship grew, but when Zane came along, it was like that piece locked in where they were, like, 'Oh, this is forever.'' Dancing With The Stars premieres at 7pm on June 15 on the Seven Network and 7Plus. Former Home And Away actor Sarah Roberts says shooting sex scenes on a TV set is in 'no way glamorous', as she confirms she has found love again after her high-profile divorce from ex-husband, James Stewart. In a new interview with the Stellar podcast, Something To Talk About, Roberts discusses the role intimacy co-ordinators play in racy scenes – and how it's nothing like real sex. As she unveils Make It Look Real (a documentary about the topic), Robert recalls one instance where 'there weren't any crazy sex scenes; they were more kissing scenes with an actor that I hadn't worked with before,' Roberts tells Something To Talk About, in a new episode out today. 'It was about, 'How are we going to film this kiss? Do you want to use tongue? Do you not want to use tongue? Where are you going to put your hands? Where should I put my hands?' 'My first kissing scene on Home And Away was with my now ex-husband [James Stewart, whom she married in 2019]. 'No-one had walked us through what we were doing. It's hard. Picture: Getty Images Meantime, after a turbulent period of her life – including the loss of her beloved brother in 2019 and her divorce from Stewart last year – Roberts has some happy news: she's found love again. 'I love two people now: I've finally found a love for myself, which I know now in retrospect I didn't have for so long,' Roberts told Something To Talk About. 'I am still finding myself, but I have beaten myself up for a long time because I stayed in something that wasn't healthy. But now I have found this love for myself – and also fallen in love with a man. I'm so in love.' The actor and DJ also revealed she used to be a 'yes girl' with 'absolutely no boundaries.' 'Now that I'm 40, I look back on my life so far and it would have been great to have some boundaries and some respect for myself as well,' she said reflectively. 'I would sometimes bend over backwards so far that I would break my back and I got very sick for a moment in time. 'Now I feel very confident walking onto sets. I feel more confident in my day-to-day life as well in relationships. I know what I'll stand and what I won't stand for.' 'I imagine dealing with a divorce is hard enough,' she said. 'Dealing with it all in the spotlight – and then everything that came out in the media after – absolutely ripped my heart in a million little pieces,.' Sydney Sweeney slammed for ‘gross' ad

Sydney Sweeney is taking a page out of Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi's playbook, repurposing her bath water for rabid fans. The actress, 27, previously stripped down and took a dip in a bubble bath for soap brand Dr. Squatch, promoting the brand's Natural Body Wash. Now, she's taking the eco-friendly route, with the company packaging the same suds from the ad into a brand new product. Called Bathwater Bliss, the limited-edition bar soap is formulated with exfoliating sand and pine bark extract as well as a splash of Sweeney's soap that 'channels two of the best places on earth: the great outdoors and Sydney Sweeney's bathtub,' per a press release from the brand. 'Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural.' 'Are straight men ok?' one asked, as another added, 'I love you Sydney, but what the f**k is this?' 'I wanted this to be fake so bad,' someone commented, as one concluded, 'Nah, this is gross.' Actor and comedian Magda Szubanski reveals cancer battle

Magda Szubanski has revealed she in a private battle with stage four cancer that is 'nasty' and 'rare'. The much-loved Australian comedian confirmed the shocking diagnosis of Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a rare and fast-moving blood cancer, in a post to social media on Thursday. Szubanski, 64, described the cancer diagnosis as 'serious' and confirmed she has begun 'the Nordic protocol' …'one of the best treatments available' for the disease that was randomly picked up during a recent breast screen. 'Hello, my lovelies. The head is shaved in anticipation of it all falling out in a couple of weeks. 'I have just been diagnosed with a very rare, very aggressive lymphoma. 'It is one of the nasty ones unfortunately. 'The good thing is I'm surrounded by beautiful friends and family and an incredible medical support team. Honestly we have the best in the world here in Australia. 'It's pretty confronting. It is a full on one. But new treatments keep coming down the pipeline all the time … I've just got to (laughs). 'What do you? What are you gonna do? 'Please keep a distance though because I will be very immunocompromised. So as I can't hug no more.' The star of TV series Kath & Kim and films Babe and Ride Like a Girl described he outlook and attitude to recovery as 'hopeful'. Picture: Supplied 'I'm being lovingly cared for by friends and family. My medical team is brilliant and I've never felt more held by the people around me,' she said. 'I'll be lying very low while my immune system takes a hammering. 'This is an obscure cancer and was only diagnosed incidentally via a breast screen where they found my lymph nodes were up. 'To be honest, I've been feeling pretty ratshit for ages. So I asked for extra bloods and – voila! 'So the take away is – get tested and listen to your body! 'For now, just know I'm in good hands, good spirits – but I reserve my human right to be a cranky old moll.' During the past decade, Szubanksi has increasingly opened up about her private battles. In her 2014 memoir Reckoning, Szubanski documented her complicated relationship with food and her sexuality, something she had guarded for decades before finally coming out in 2012. She later admitted that outing herself was one of the scariest things she's done in her life. She signed off to her legion of fans with a request: 'If you do see me out and about – don't hug me, kiss me or breathe anywhere near me! Wave enthusiastically from a safe distance and know I love you madly.' Aussie stars react After revealing her battle with characteristic candour - and a head of thinning hair - Szubanski was immediately swamped with support on social media. Melbourne and Sydney's arts and entertainment communities were quick to wrap arms around her. Comedian Peter Hellier wrote: 'Sending you all my love Mags!!!!! You (and we) know how strong you are! ️' Actor Teresa Palmer added: 'Oh Mags, I'm so sorry to hear this shit news, you're such an inspiration to so many of us, an icon for the ages.
