Lawrence, 33, is also accused of threatening to stab Chloe and her new boyfriend Bora Guccuk, who had called the model during the alleged attack in October 2022. Prosecutor Sheilagh Davies said: "He threatened to stab Chloe and Bora. He threatened that he would assault them and threatened all sorts of things. "That made Bora concerned not only for his own safety but for Chloe's as well." The Old Bailey was told Bora could hear the model screaming "help me, help me" before he managed to contact police. Chloe then managed to escape to the Berkeley Hotel to meet her friend, Alexandra Ivanovic. During her evidence, the influencer said: "I genuinely thought I'm going to die." Chloe later went to hospital where it was found one of the bite marks on her neck had "turned septic", it was said. Jurors heard a slew of messages were recovered from Lawrence's phone that were sent just before the alleged assault. He told her: 'I'll do everything in my power to f**k you up. "You're a lying little whore, you said you were coming to me an hour-and-a-half ago." The court was told the pair had been in a relationship for around six months between December 2021 and May 2022 but remained "on and off" after it ended. Giving evidence, Chloe described their relationship as "narcissistic" adding: "You are addicted to the highs and lows. It is euphoric." She told the court she was left with six bite marks and as a result she needed a tetanus shot and antibiotics. Chloe also described Lawrence as "crazy" and claimed he pursued her while she was at the Cannes film festival and in Mykonos with friends. Whisky merchant Lawrence denies one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The trial continues. 7 Chloe had been invited to Lawrence's home when she was allegedly attacked Credit: Instagram 7 She managed to escape to a hotel Credit: Instagram 7 Chloe claimed one of the bites turned septic Credit: Instagram

Urgent warning to parents over THOUSANDS of illegal drug-laced sweets including ‘magic mushroom cookies' flooding UK

Police launched a raid on the shop was launched after a shopper was charged £899 for trying to purchase two packs of sweets. 4 A raid on a West End shop uncovered secret supplies of drugs disguised as sweets Credit: Central News 4 The store had labelled the mushrooms with vague names including Game Over and Magic Dragon Credit: Central News 4 CBD cookies were also seized from the Harry Potter shop next door Credit: Central News The Londonero shop on Oxford Street was selling a variety of drugs disguised as everyday desserts. Investigators from Westminster Council found the American-style candy shop had been selling Magic Dragon cookies - which actually contained magic mushrooms. There were three other boxes of cookies labelled Game Over. When the raid took place on April 25, two shop assistants fled downstairs and escaped using a secret exit. The secret passage was hidden behind a panel in the basement wall which took them back up to street level. However, by moving the panel, they revealed a room which contained £80,000 worth of fake goods. The director of the store, Ahmad Yar Jan, told a court that he was happy for the goods to be destroyed by the council. The Harry Potter shop next door was also found to be selling unlicensed Hashish and White Widow CBD products. An unnamed individual linked to the wizard-themed shop, ran by 5IVESTAR Limited, appeared in court alongside Yar Jan. Many of the products which were seized had no English translation on the box, which sparked allergy fears since their contents was unknown. Sneak peek inside new Oxford Street Ikea After the arrests, Labour leader of Westminster City Council, Adam Hug, said: ''It is rather ironic that a shop calling itself a Harry Potter store appears to have been selling products that claim they would get the user higher than a quidditch player. 'The food products here were part of a raid at two addresses on Oxford Street which have taken thousands of items worth £80,000 off the streets. 'One of these 'magic cookies' products was labelled game over – however the only game over will be for unscrupulous traders who sell illegal goods to the public." The news comes as Westminster Council has announced that reducing the huge number of sweets shops on Oxford Street is a priority. Adam Hug added: 'We have known for a long time that US candy stores rip off customers, but charging £900 for two packets of sweets is a new low, even for the unscrupulous people who run these rackets. 'Our job is to protect people who visit the West End from being exploited and continuing raids and court appearances will ensure life is sour for the rogue US sweet shop trade. 'Hopefully, the fall in the number of US candy and souvenir shops means the tide is going out on this tatty trade.'

Man, 92, wanted to 'murder care home staff' before being 'tasered by police'
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Up Next Previous Page Next Page A 92-year-old man in a wheelchair was Tasered by police after saying he would 'get pleasure' from stabbing staff at his care home, a court heard. Donald Burgess was allegedly assaulted by Pc Stephen Smith and Pc Rachel Comotto, in East Sussex, on June 21, 2022. Southwark Crown Court heard Mr Burgess told staff he wanted to stab them, and this prompted a 999 call from staff, the court heard. Bodycam footage showed Mr Burgess being sprayed in the face with synthetic pepper spray, struck with a baton and tasered within 83 seconds. Smith, 51, denies two counts of assault by using Pava spray and a baton, and Comotto denies one charge of assault by discharging her Taser. According to care home manager Steve Cooper, Mr Burgess was threatening towards staff for more than 30 minutes. Bodycam footage showed the moment Donald Burgess was allegedly assaulted in his care home (Picture: Central News/IOPC) Mr Cooper said he looked possessed and added: 'He had a look in his eyes I've never seen before – he wasn't the Donald I knew.' He said Mr Burgess looked at him, jabbed the knife towards him and said: 'I'm going to murder you, and I'll enjoy it.' He added that the care home tried 'all other options' before calling the police. Jurors were played the 999 call that was made by deputy care home manager Donna Gardner. She could be heard saying: 'He's threatening to stab staff and has stated that he wants to murder, and it will give him a great deal of pleasure. 'He still has the knife. I'm concerned that if we leave him on his own, he's going to hurt himself. Mr Burgess threatened to murder the care home manager and said he would 'enjoy it' (Picture: PA) 'We've removed him from other residents, but he's not given in.' She said the knife was sharp, had a serrated edge and was given to Mr Burgess to help him cut his food properly, but warned it could harm someone. 'Going back a few years, we had a spell where he was threatening to hang himself, so I don't want to take any chances with this gentleman,' she said. In a previous hearing, the jury heard how Pc Smith told Mr Burgess: 'Do you want to put the knife down or you will be sprayed or tasered. Those are the options.' Mr Burgess was taken to hospital after the incident and caught Covid. He died 22 days later. Jurors also heard that there was nobody within arm's reach of Mr Burgess at the time, and it should have been clear he was not mobile. Smith denies two counts of assault by using Pava spray and a baton (Picture: Yui Mok/PA Wire) 'It ought to have been obvious by the fact he had one leg that this was a man who wasn't going to be mobile,' Paul Jarvis, KC, prosecuting, said. 'This was an elderly, vulnerable man who may not have understood what was going on. 'Rather than being met with understanding and sympathy, he was confronted by irritation and annoyance on the part of the defendants.' Mr Burgess had been a resident at the home since 2018 and suffered from multiple health conditions, including diabetes and carotid artery disease. While he was not diagnosed with dementia, the care home specialises in support for people who have it. Comotto denies one charge of assault by discharging her Taser (Picture: Lucy North/PA Wire) Mr Jarvis told the jury: 'I want to make it clear – these defendants are not responsible for his death. 'He was an elderly gentleman who was unwell.' But he added: 'The force used was unnecessary and excessive in the circumstances. 'The defendants assaulted Mr Burgess, causing actual bodily harm.'
