LSU football trending to land one of 2026's top wide receiver recruits

LSU football trending to land one of 2026's top wide receiver recruits Two prominent On3 writers have logged predictions for LSU football to land one of the top wide receivers in the 2026 recruiting class. According to Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong, LSU is the leader for four-star wide receiver Ethan "Boobie" Feaster. Simmons and Wiltfong made the call as Feaster was finishing up a weekend visit at LSU. Feaster was originally a member of the 2027 recruiting class before reclassifying to 2026. Despite reclassifying, Feaster remains among the top-ranked players in the class. Per the On3 Industry Rankings, Feaster is the No. 4 ranked recruit at his position. ESPN and Rivals both rank Feaster as the No. 3 wide receiver in the class. Feaster, a Texas native, plays for DeSoto High School, a Texas football powerhouse. Feaster's recruitment is far from over and LSU will have to fend off the Texas schools who will continue to push for Feaster's services. LSU's 2026 class currently ranks atop the SEC and No. 3 in the country. Feaster would be the second wide receiver in LSU's class, joining four-star Louisiana product Kenny Darby.
