'Superb' magnetic charger that is a 'must have' for Oasis concert gets £100 slash
'This sleek and compact power bank is perfect for carrying with you wherever you go.' One essential device to have on hand, especially if you are travelling or going to late night events, is a portable charger. Able to give your smartphone a much needed battery boost at a moment's notice, these chargers easily become your everyday companion. However, one issue that comes with a variety of power banks is that many require a long cable to connect with your phone. This can quickly become a hassle if you end up getting tangled in the wire and not being able to easily use your tech device. In order to combat this, many brands have now come out with magnetic chargers which are compatible with a variety of smartphones on the market, including Samsung and iPhone. These seamlessly attach to the back of your phone so you can continue having a free range of movement. One popular charger we found that won't break the bank is currently reduced on Amazon. Normally retailing for £129.99, shoppers can now buy the Matast Magnetic Charger for £28.49. This is ideal for events such as concerts as shoppers can easily capture their favourite songs without worrying about losing any battery. For example, those who were lucky enough to get their hands on some highly sought after Oasis tickets may want to consider bringing a portable charger with them to help store what may be once in a lifetime memories. The Manchester duo kicked off their highly anticipated reunion tour on July 4 in Cardiff and are set to entertain Scottish fans in Murrayfield Stadium in three sold out shows on August 8, 9 and 12. With the setlist featuring fan favourites such as Morning Glory, Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall, fans won't want to miss a single moment. To lend a helping hand, this magnetic charger can support wireless charging of up to 15W, and is said to give a 45 per cent power boost to an iPhone 15 in just 35 minutes. Alternatively, shoppers can connect their devices with a USB-C cable to match with a wider variety of devices, including tablets and Bluetooth headphones. Shoppers will also have added piece of mind with this charger as it comes with a digital display that shows the battery remaining in the power bank. With an impressive 10,000mAh battery built-in, many shoppers have raved over getting multiple charges out of the nifty power bank. Matast Magnetic Charger £129.99 £28.49 Amazon Buy Now Product Description Another popular magnetic charger on Amazon is the Azmuth Mag-Safe Power Bank. Dropped down from £34.99 to £27.99, shoppers can choose between either a black or blue device to best match their phone's aesthetic. Along with a display to show the power remaining, the device can charge up to five devices at once. Alternatively, Argos is selling the Juice 5000mAh Magnetic Slim Portable Power Bank for £24.99. Featuring a slim design, this device features a 15W magnetic ring and a 20W USB-C port to make a quick power boost easily accessible. However, this device does have a smaller battery than the other power banks. Back to the Matast Magnetic Charger, Amazon shoppers have awarded this handy device a 4.7 star rating, with over 1,000 people purchasing the nifty piece of tech in the last 30 days. One shopper praised: "Great magnetic power bank for my iPhone! It attaches securely, charges efficiently, and the battery life is impressive. Easy to carry and super practical for daily use." With another five-star reviewer adding: "This wireless charger is superb for travelling because it is easily portable and one does not need any cable. I have used it for two days in my trip to Turkey and it was really fast charging and its battery life is good. Highly recommended." However, one shopper was less pleased with the charger, writing: "Doesn't charge that fast how they said on the description and it doesn't work properly but good quality of product its feel premium." While another person noted about Android devices: "Charges my phone just fine. My one issue is the shape of the product. For a Samsung S24, most cases will come with a lip next to the camera lenses, which prevents the product from coming in full contact with the charging bit. It still works, but likely not as well as it's supposed to." Despite this, a top reviewer wrote: "This sleek and compact power bank is perfect for carrying with you wherever you go. I love its wireless capability, which means you don't have to worry about remembering your cables. Another great feature is that it automatically turns off when not in use, conserving energy. "The LED indicator is incredibly useful, as it shows you exactly how much charge is left—unlike my old one, where I was always guessing! Plus, it offers fast charging, making it a must-have for anyone constantly on the move." To buy the Matast Magnetic Charger, click HERE. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Oasis setlist in full as Edinburgh Murrayfield reunion tour countdown on
Edinburgh's Murrayfield will welcome thousands of Oasis fans next month The countdown is well and truly on until Oasis take to Murrayfield for three nights as part of their comeback tour after a 16-year hiatus. The Gallagher brothers and their iconic band are heading to Edinburgh in less than two weeks to delight fans at three sold out shows. Tickets were like gold dust to get and we're sure it'll be parka jackets and bucket hats galore. Earlier this month, the pair kicked off their string of sold-out reunion shows at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, before they headed to Manchester and London ahead of the Edinburgh and Dublin dates on their UK and Ireland leg of the show. Many fans want to know if the setlist has been the same for the whole tour or if it's likely to change, and it seems there's no surprises as the order so far for Cardiff, Manchester and London has all been the same. Here's the full setlist from the gigs so far: Hello Acquiesce Morning Glory Some Might Say Bring it on down Cigarettes & Alcohol Fade Away Supersonic Roll With It Talk Tonight Half the World Away Little by Little D'You Know What I Mean Stand By Me Cast No Shadow Slide Away Whatever Live Forever Rock and Roll Star Encore happens and then the show wraps up with these songs: The Masterplan Don't Look Back in Anger Wonderwall Champagne Supernova Oasis are set to play a total of 23 songs over the three evenings in Edinburgh. Noel and Liam have saved their most popular songs for last up until now, ending the stellar evening with Wonderwall into Champagne Supernova - the close track of the band's second album. For their UK and Ireland, the supporting acts are The Verve's Richard Ashcroft and Liverpool band Cast. Both have history with Oasis, with Britpop band Cast having supported the brothers previously back in 1996 at Knebworth. Richard Ashcroft has also been involved in a collab with Liam Gallagher on stage in recent years. Fans have been promised to be transported back to the 90s with Ashcroft taking to the stage. The singer was announced as the official support act for the UK and Ireland dates last year. Cast were formed with frontman John Powers after his split from The La's, with many likely to recognise him from supporting Oasis in the 90s. After their Edinburgh shows, Oasis will head to Dublin for two dates. The first leg of their UK tour will wrap up at the city's Croke Park on August 17. From there, Oasis will head across the Atlantic for shows in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and Mexico City, before returning to London for two additional Wembley dates at the end of September. The tour then continues through Asia, Australia and South America, with the final show set for November 23 in São Paulo, Brazil.

I saw Oasis on their reunion tour. Drinks were expensive, merch was extortionate — but the experience was priceless.
I set myself up for disappointment on Friday. Sitting in a packed-out tube carriage heading to London's Wembley Stadium, I had high expectations for the night ahead. The sun was out, the drinks had been flowing, and more importantly, Oasis was back. But as a lifelong sports fan who's experienced one too many heartbreaks, I've learned to be a little suspicious when things seem "too good." I need not have worried, however. It had been 16 years since brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher infamously split following a spat ahead of a scheduled set in Paris — and the occasion was lost on no one. The band was on ferociously good form right from the raucous openers "Hello" and "Acquiesce" through to the epic climax of "Champagne Supernova." There was no time for " kiss cams" here. The 90,000-strong crowd locked onto every word as the group rolled off many of its most iconic numbers and paid tribute to the late, great Ozzy Osbourne. A year ago, however, some of the initial buzz over Oasis' unexpected comeback announcement was dampened slightly by controversy over the alleged use of surge ticket pricing, which companies selling products online sometimes use to increase prices as market demand rises. Many Oasis fans had to queue for hours to secure tickets through Ticketmaster and saw the cost of some tickets shoot from £135, or about $181, to more than £350, which is around $470. I got off lightly, paying £150. Ticketmaster has denied using a "dynamic pricing" model. Andrew Parsons, managing director at Ticketmaster UK, told MPs earlier this year that the platform does not change prices in "any automated or algorithmic way," adding that they are set in advance with "event organisers and their teams." Other fans faced the prospect of skyrocketing prices on secondary sites. One London-based fan who missed out on tickets on Ticketmaster told Business Insider at the time that he'd seen tickets listed for as much as £6,347 on one secondary site. Friday night's concert was also anything but cheap. A pint of beer broke the dreaded £8 barrier. T-shirts emblazoned with the brothers' faces or the band's logo were going for £40, while anything from the Adidas Originals x Oasis collection cost considerably more — I spied one "football shirt" selling for £85. Oasis is set to play seven shows at Wembley this year. The Live '25 Tour will also see the group perform at venues across North America, including Chicago's Soldier Field, the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and the Rogers Stadium in Toronto. For those lucky enough to have gotten tickets to Friday's show, any lingering bitterness over pricing seemed to have evaporated completely by the time the band stepped off stage. It wasn't just the chance of seeing two of rock and roll's most charismatic characters back together — it was a few hours of unfiltered joy and camaraderie that one should not take for granted these days. If you asked me now how much I'd have paid to go to the concert, I'd struggle to put a number on it. It's an experience that feels impossible to quantify but that will certainly live forever.

Dua Lipa, Tom Cruise and other familiar faces spotted at Oasis's Wembley reunion concert
During Oasis's long-awaited return to Wembley Stadium, the 90,000-strong crowd included several high-profile attendees who blended in beside enthusiastic fans. Pop star Dua Lipa, joined by fiancé Callum Turner, was seen in a VIP area singing Don't Look Back in Anger alongside Anaïs Gallagher, daughter of band member Noel Gallagher. Fan-shot videos from the night captured the trio joining in during the stadium-wide singalong.
