Judge accuses the Trump administration of 'manufacturing' chaos in migrant deportation case
WASHINGTON — A federal judge suggested the Trump administration was 'manufacturing' chaos and said he hoped that 'reason can get the better of rhetoric' in a scathing order in a case about government efforts to deport a handful of migrants from various countries to South Sudan. In the order published Monday evening, Judge Brian Murphy wrote that he had given the Trump administration 'remarkable flexibility with minimal oversight' in the case and emphasized the numerous times he attempted to work with the government.

Review: Was Charles Manson Carrying Out a CIA Experiment? (opinion)
One of America's more famous documentarians, Errol Morris, was intrigued by Tom O'Neill's Chaos, a 2019 book delving into the mysteries around the murders committed in 1969 by people associated with the hippie cult leader Charles Manson. In a new Netflix feature documentary exploring O'Neill's theories and findings, Morris shows his work, and we hear him telling O'Neill on camera he isn't quite buying the story O'Neill is selling. Partly because of his connections to the Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic, which was haunted by CIA-associated mind control researcher Louis Jolyon West, and partly because of the mysterious leniency in how the legal system treated Manson before he was eventually arrested for the murders, O'Neill thinks it likely Manson was either a confidential informant and thus under the law's protection to some extent, or carrying out a CIA-planned experiment using something like West's techniques to turn his "Family" into mind-controlled murderers. O'Neill certainly provides fodder for both theses, the first seeming more likely if only because it's less baroquely sinister. But alternate explanations require a differently cynical view about government than O'Neill's evil one: that perhaps California law enforcement was lazy and incompetent, or that West's claims about his experimental brainwashing powers were exaggerated to keep the CIA money flowing. The facts that Manson did eventually face justice and life in prison and never hinted at any of this, and that the world does not seem crawling with people with this brainwash-to-murder power, indicates that some skepticism about O'Neill's thesis is warranted. ‘Chaos' Review: An On-Air Revival on Viaplay
'Chaos'—not to be confused with the defunct 'Kaos' in which Jeff Goldblum was Zeus—has been described as 'The Morning Show' in Danish. But there's at least one important difference. Both series are concerned with how to make good television. Only one of them does. TV about TV can be like writing about writers, a navel-gazing exercise in which an author might critique a genre, but only while genuflecting before it. Refreshingly, 'Chaos' has enough going on in terms of subplots—they are many—that Big Media is less an object of worship than a simple backdrop for messy situations and messy people. Those people are also, it should be said, delightful to watch as they struggle through their self-sabotaging situations. Also, in Denmark, the media is not so big.

日前公布入門定位的GeForce RTX 5060顯示卡與相關設計筆電將於美國當地時間5月19日正式上市後，NVIDIA更進一步說明如何藉由搭載GeForce RTX顯示卡的PC裝置加速推動人工智慧應用。 其中，隨著升級第5代Tensor Core設計，以及第4代RT Core設計，並且換上GDDR7顯示記憶體，PCIe連接埠規格也換成Gen 5規格的GeForce RTX 5060，讓更多入門級別的PC裝置可藉由DLSS 4技術加持，讓更多預算成本有限的遊戲玩家也能透過人工智慧技術升頻獲得更好遊戲畫面表現，並且能在1080P解析度下最高畫質設定，仍可實現100fps以上穩定畫面輸出。 而在搭載GeForce RTX 5060、同樣支援DLSS 4技術、厚度控制在1.49公分內的筆電陸續進入市場，更代表以Blackwell顯示架構加速運算的人工智慧應用體驗能廣泛進入更多用戶族群。 為了進一步推動人工智慧應用發展，NVIDIA先前已經針對遊戲與應用服務提供AI PC軟體堆疊資源，同時也強調在其TensorRT加速之下，將比使用微軟的DirectML能發揮更高人工智慧執行效能。 此次宣布將於6月推出的TensorRT for RTX開發工具，標榜能比微軟的DirectML提高2倍執行效能，並且對應所有RTX GPU，同時也做好GPU運作最佳化，更以僅有1/8資料庫檔案大小加快執行效率。 另一方面，NVIDIA也說明其AI SDK工具資源已經協助強化超過150款創作及人工智慧應用服務。 其中，可在電腦端以API形式呼叫各類大型語言模型的LM Studio，已經藉由新版CUDA工具提升30%執行效能，而透過人工智慧將影片最佳化調整的Topaz Video AI，同樣也以CUDA工具提高影片生成效率，而包含Autodesk VRED 3D可視化軟體，以及Chaos的3D即時渲染軟體Enscape均以DLSS 4技術提升畫面表現，Bilibili (嗶哩嗶哩)則是藉由NVIDIA的廣播特效技術增加線上直播體驗。 至於先前提出的加速推理微服務NVIDIA NIM，此次也宣布進一步對應至所有RTX GPU，藉此讓更多搭載GeForce RTX顯示卡的PC裝置，都能藉由TensorRT加快各類人工智慧微服務運作，並且相容主流的人工智慧應用工具資源，更可讓開發者能更容易將其人工智慧應用服務佈署於終端PC裝置或雲端。 NVIDIA同時也宣布推出更多NVIDIA微服務與NVIDIA AI Blueprints人工智慧參考工作流程，其中包含Flux AI的flux.1 dev及flux.1 schnell圖像生成模型，以及可讓3D圖像正確生成的參考工作流程。 另外，針對以Ace技術、微服務建構的NVIDIA遊戲內助理服務Project G-Assist則是增加更多外掛程式，使其可串接Discord、Google Gemini、Twitch、IFTTT、Spotify等服務，更允許開發者透過G-Assist Builder工具打造適用於G-Assist的外掛程式，使其增加更多應用功能。 更多 Intel實際展示以18A製程生產的「Panther Lake」處理器，預計2025年下半年量產 透過兩大方針打造全新Intel，陳立武：挹注技術力打造更好處理器、傾聽客戶需求 Intel推出更具性價比、標榜能彈性擴充的工作站繪圖加速卡Arc Pro B50、B60

Chaos erupts as rappers Krept & Konan are hauled away by bouncers in shock footage of ‘brawl' at Misfits Boxing match
THIS is the shocking moment Krept and Konan were hauled out of a Misfits Boxing event as chaos erupted after a fight. The hip hop duo were dragged out of the backstage area following Wakey Wine's defeat of Mo Deen on Saturday night. 5 5 5 In the alarming footage Konan can be seen desperately trying to wriggle free from bodyguards. Krept meanwhile appears to shove a female guest out of the way as she gets in the way to try and calm him down. Another woman is then caught up in the melee as the artist wrestles with someone in the crowd. Shocked bystanders watched on as the heated confrontation took place in full view following the Misfits boxing event. Video footage then ended with the two rappers being escorted outside of the gated area by security guards and other peacemakers. It is not yet confirmed what sparked the chaotic row. The viral video, which was originally uploaded to TikTok has now been viewed thousands of times. Viewers were quick to weigh in with their opinions in the comment section. One wrote: "Should've let them in the ring!" Another said: "Grown men you know." This is not their normal behaviour so stop with all the judgements." "Easy to kick off when you've got tons of people holding you back," said another. Some social media users claimed that the fight started when a group allegedly tried to steal Krept's chain. But others were more sceptical and theorised that the rappers were trying to start promotion for an upcoming fight on Misfits boxing. Krept, Konan, SAUK Security and Misfits Boxing have been contacted for comment. It comes after corner shop boss and TikTok star Wakey Wines took on Mo Deen in a heavyweight bout. Aggressive pushes from Wakey got big roars from the crowd, as he was a huge fan favourite. By the final round Mo Deen looked tired as though he was just trying to survive. The judges scored the contest 48-47, 49-46, and 49-46 in favour of Wakey Wines. A huge cheer from the crowd erupted as the corner shop boss got the victory. The rescheduled card came live from Derby, after the original card for March 29 was cancelled with KSI pulling out. Misfits is the home to celebrity-style crossover bouts and headed up by YouTuber KSI.
