Charlotte Flair is only making things worse for herself in WWE
SmackDown airs tonight (May 16) with a live show emanating from Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is the first episode of SmackDown during the four week build towards Money in the Bank, which takes place on June 7. Charlotte Flair is only making things worse for herself in WWE When Charlotte Flair returned to SmackDown last week, I thought maybe she'd come back with a slight attitude adjustment after being humbled by Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41. But that's not at all what happened. The Queen's insecurities were out in the open as she made excuses for her loss and doubled down on proclaiming her superiority and greatness over every other wrestler in WWE history. Advertisement Flair didn't do herself any favors with this delusional approach, and the fans let her know about it by booing her out of the ring. Like usual, Charlotte did not respond well to the boos, which led to a tantrum where she threatened to walk out of the building. The Queen first ran into Jade Cargill on her way out, which led to some trash talk by Jade that is clearly leading to a match at some point. Then just as Flair was about to take off in her limo, she crossed paths with Alexa Bliss, who seemed a bit friendlier and wanted to chat. Does Charlotte plan to go out to the ring tonight in Flair country to talk about her chat with Alexa, or will she instead try last week's failed approach again by talking down to the fans and hyping herself up as the greatest thing going in WWE today? Tune into SmackDown to see where the trainwreck that is Charlotte Flair goes from here. Other stuff to keep an eye on - I think WWE forgot to announce a card for tonight's show, but I do see that Cody Rhodes is listed on their web site for this SmackDown. Rhodes has yet to appear on Raw or SmackDown since he was a giant dumbass at WrestleMania 41 and lost the WWE championship to John Cena. Is it time for Rhodes to return and issue a challenge for a championship rematch tag team match against Cena and Travis Scott at Money in the Bank? Advertisement - What twisted logic will R-Truth come up with to continue supporting his childhood hero despite the fact that Cena put him through a table at the post-Backlash press conference? Does Truth even have time to process what happened, or will Randy Orton be hunting him down with non-stop RKO's after getting screwed at Backlash? - Nia Jax is the new number one contender to WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton. Does GM Nick Aldis plan to announce a date for their title match now that Backlash is behind us? - The feud between Naomi and Jade Cargill must continue after last week's angle where Jade was distracted by Naomi's ringside antics and lost the number one contender's match. Both women want to win the top title on the blue brand, so do they plan to declare and/or qualify for the women's Money in the Bank ladder match? - Jacob Fatu is still the United States champion after Solo Sikoa brought in Jeff Cobb to help him win the 4-way US title match at Backlash. Fatu seemed confused by Cobb's presence and unaware of Solo's plan. Have Jacob and Solo waited all week long until tonight to talk about it? Does the megastar intend to get his hands on Cobb and take him out with a BFT? Advertisement - Damian Priest made a statement in that 4-way match when he took out Drew McIntyre with a massive South of Heaven through a table. Is Drew in any shape to return to television right now to seek revenge, or does he need some time off to recover? - Chelsea Green hasn't done much to prove that she deserves a rematch after losing the women's United States championship to Zelina Vega. Will Green instead set her sights on winning the women's Money in the Bank ladder match? - Is Aleister Black ready to move on from The Miz and Carmelo Hayes after beating them in separate singles matches, or is he not satisfied with last week's small package win over Hayes? - How will Santos Escobar react to Humberto's defiance last week? Is Legado del Fantasma about to fall apart before our very eyes? Advertisement - Fraxiom took advantage of the Street Profits' weakened state to score a win over the WWE tag team champions last week. It looks like DIY is up next for SmackDown's new hot team after last week's backstage attack. Could Fraxiom vs. DIY happen as soon as tonight? - Where the f*** are the Wyatt Sicks? What will you be looking for on SmackDown? More from
