Brad Pitt 'Desperate' To Reunite With His Twins Amid 'Devastating' New Blow In Angelina Jolie Legal Battle
Brad Pitt is reportedly looking to reconnect with his children after being estranged from many of them since his split from their mother, Angelina Jolie. Insiders say the actor hopes he can "make amends" with his youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, and has allegedly reached out to them ahead of their 17th birthday this weekend. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt is said to have "accepted" that he and Angelina Jolie will always "be at odds," amid their continuous clash over their French winery Château Miraval. Pitt is not giving up yet on being present and active in the lives of his children, despite being estranged from them for years now. The "Fight Club" star announced his split from ex-wife Jolie in 2016 following a private jet incident that allegedly saw Pitt hit the address and some of the kids. What followed was a years-long divorce and custody battle in which the kids seemingly sided with their mom and kept their distance from the actor. Some even went as far as dropping his last name, and his son Pax called him a "world-class a-shole" on Father's Day in 2020. Despite this, Pitt is looking to "make amends," especially with his youngest children, Knox and Vivienne, and is "desperate" to reunite with them ahead of their 17th birthday. The actor is "praying" they'll be willing to give him a chance, but has not heard any word back. A source told the Daily Mail that Pitt is desperately looking to make amends with Knox and Vivienne and has tried several times to reunite with the teenagers. "Brad's desperate to give it one final shot to get together with them and make amends, even though he knows the chance they'll agree to spend time with him is remote, to say the least," the source said. "So far there's been no word back from the twins or their reps," the insider continued, explaining that when "Vivienne dropped Pitt from her name, he got the message loud and clear," and was "totally devastated" by the move. However, a "glimmer of hope" emerged for Pitt because Vivienne's brother, Knox, "has kept Jolie-Pitt as his surname." Pitt and the "Maleficent" star began dating in 2004 and tied the knot a decade later in 2014. Unfortunately, the marriage only lasted 2 years. Throughout their 12-year romance, they expanded their family and now share six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox. Amid their legal battles, another insider told the Daily Mail that Pitt has "accepted" he'll continue to be "at odds" with Jolie, but is not closing the chapter on his relationship with their children just yet. "Brad is a family man," the source said, noting that the love he once had for Jolie and all their kids is something that's still "very important to his life." "Now that he and Angie are at odds, and have for years, he has accepted that [that] is the way it is going to be with her. But when it comes to their children, he will always want to be an anchor in their lives," the insider explained. "There is a bond that parents have with their kids, and Brad would be very happy to have them all back in the fold of his life," they shared. The source went further to explain that the "F1" star is not ready to "give up" yet on his children and has done all he can to get back in their good graces. Last year, when Pax was involved in a bike accident, Pitt was "distraught" and "worried," and reportedly tried to reach out, but the kids "won't take his calls." "He will always believe and always hope there is a chance to be back with all of them, and he doesn't want to think otherwise," the insider shared, per the Daily Mail. "He doesn't want to give up, he's not that kind of guy, he's not that kind of father. He is a proud father, and he would be happy to have them see that eventually." The insider added that the children now "have to make the move because he has tried over and over again to get back in their good graces." The 61-year-old Oscar winner has seemingly had a rethink and is ready to move on from his past with Jolie. "The divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years," a source told Us Weekly of his split from the "Tomb Raider" star. "He loved her, and he knows he made mistakes." "It was such a divisive, toxic situation," the insider said of their split, adding that the circumstances surrounding it "turned the kids against him," but that the actor "doesn't blame [Jolie] for everything." The source explained that Pitt's "biggest regret" is that he can't repair the broken relationship with his kids, adding that "the case is over, but there are no winners." "To have that behind him is a relief. But on the other hand, it's been hard for him because he doesn't have a great relationship with his kids," the insider noted. While the couple has settled their divorce, there's still a huge legal war brewing between them over their french winery, Château Miraval. In the latest development, the actor asked a court to force Jolie's company, Nouvel LLC, to sit for a deposition regarding their initial investment in the winery. Jolie sold her stake in the winery to a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, Tenute del Mondo, prompting Pitt to sue her, accusing her of breaking an agreement. To take things further, Pitt made a more aggressive legal move by demanding private communications between Stoli Group's Alexey Oliynik and Jolie regarding the sale of her stake in Château Miraval.

Angelina Jolie - Brad Pitt Legal Battle Heats Up; F1 Actor Files New Court Documents
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who were once the most loved pair in Hollywood, have topped the headlines again because of their legal battle. Nearly 11 years after the couple announced their divorce, they are yet to stop fighting over their jointly-owned property -- the French winery, Chateau Miraval in Tenute del Mondo. It seems there is no end to the legal battle between the Mr & Mrs Smith stars, who were once Hollywood's golden couple. Pitt reportedly filed new court documents in the Superior Court of California, demanding private communications from the Maria star. The F1 actor, 61, made an attempt to depose Alexey Oliynik with the help of his new court documents. The actor claimed that Oliynik, who works for Stoli Group, had firsthand knowledge about the French winery's sale by his ex-wife. The winery in Tenute del Mondo is part of the wine division of the Stoli Group. Angelina Jolie - Brad Pitt Legal Battle Heats Up In his new court documents, Pitt claimed that Oliynik refused to appear for deposition or turn over relevant documents. The actor stated that Oliynik refused to cooperate, arguing that no one could force him to do so because he is a resident of Switzerland. "These requests go directly to key allegations about Pitt's objections to the sale easily meet the standard for discoverability given Pitt's allegations that Jolie acted with malice in selling to Stoli, a counterparty she knew Pitt opposed," Pitt stated in his new court documents. The F1 actor filed a case against his former partner in February 2022, alleging that she had made a sale of the winery despite their prior agreement that neither of them would do so without the other person's approval. In response, Jolie filed a countersuit seven months later, claiming that her ex-husband had been "waging a vindictive war against" her ever since she filed for divorce in 2016. The Girl, Interrupted Oscar winner's legal team said in court documents that her ex-husband's objection to the winery sale is due to her refusal to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The agreement, according to her legal team, is "designed to force her silence about his abuse and cover-up". The abuse refers to the former couple's private jet flight in 2016, in which the actor allegedly abused his family both verbally and physically. Jolie and Pitt separated in 2016 after being together for 14 years. The couple share six children -- Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16 -- in their 12 years together and two years of marriage.

Brad Pitt demands Angelina Jolie's private messages in new legal filing
It's been almost nine years since Hollywood's golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their divorce, but legal issues are still rumbling in. While their divorce was officially finalised in December 2024, the Mr & Mrs Smith stars are still wrangling over their jointly-owned French winery, Chateau Miraval. Now, the Daily Mail reports the F1 actor, 61, has logged documents – seen by the publication – laying out his attempt to acquire the 50-year-old's communications, which he thinks could provide evidence in the ongoing battle which will support his 'core claims' in the case. In a 2022 suit, Pitt claimed the Tomb Raider selling her $64million stake to SPI Group owner Yuri Shefler was in violation of their previous agreement to not sell up without the other's approval. Meanwhile, Jolie alleged that Pitt secretly manoeuvred to take control of Château Miraval and in a counter-suit claimed he'd been 'waging a vindictive war against' her since she filed for divorce in 2016. Documents filed in the Superior Court of California show the Fight Club actor has now demanded private communications between Jolie and Stoli Group's Alexey Oliynik, who Pitt claims has firsthand knowledge of the sale. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Oliynik has refused to turn over the documents, arguing that he is a resident of Switzerland so should not be forced to do so. 'These requests go directly to key allegations about Pitt's objections to the sale,' Pitt's legal team wrote in the documents, per People, and 'easily meet the standard for discoverability given Pitt's allegations that Jolie acted with malice in selling to Stoli, a counterparty she knew Pitt opposed'. Jolie filed for divorce after two years of marriage and more than a decade together following alleged abusive behaviour from Pitt on a private flight, which he denies. The Maleficent actress accused her husband of being drunk and aggressive. She claims he grabbed her by the head, injured her back and elbow, choked one of their children, and struck another. The altercation was said to have started between him and one of his children, which escalated into a physical fight, in which he poured beer and wine over his family, Jolie claimed. Five days later Jolie filed for divorce. This claim triggered investigations by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services. Pitt was not charged, but the accusations cast a long shadow and fuelled a contentious custody battle over their family of six adopted and biological children. Pitt has always denied all the claims made against him, and previously responded to them via a statement from his lawyer, which read: 'Brad has owned everything he's responsible for from day one – unlike the other side – but he's not going to own anything he didn't do.' 'He has been on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation.' Jolie adopted Maddox Chivan, 23, in 2002 from an orphanage in Cambodia, before Zahara Marley, 20, who was born in Ethiopia. Pitt adopted them too in 2006 after arriving on the scene. That same year, the couple welcomed their first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel, 19, before adopting Pax Thien, 21, from Vietnam. In 2008, they welcomed twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, 16. While Pitt was awarded joint custody of their children in 2021, it was reported last year he has visitation rights for the younger kids, but 'virtually no contact' with his adult children, as per People. Indeed, the eldest children appear to be distancing themselves from their famous father, with 18-year-old Shiloh filing to drop Pitt from her last name. Meanwhile, Vivienne dropped her dad's last name on the playbill for her musical The Outsiders, appearing just as Vivienne Jolie. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video In 2020, Brad's friends flocked to support him after a then 16-year-old Pax shared a scathing Father's Day message, written on top of a picture of the actor collecting his Oscar for Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. 'Happy Father's Day to this world-class a**hole,' he said. 'You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.' In the post, unearthed by MailOnline, Pax went on: 'You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. More Trending 'You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so.' Pax concluded: 'You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday. 'So Happy Father's Day, you f*****g awful human being.' Those in Brad's inner circle branded the allegations a 'depressing smear'. Got a story? Why Brad Pitt Wants To See Ex-Wife Angelina Jolie's Private Messages Nine Years After Separation
Los Angeles: Hollywood Actor Brad Pitt has demanded private communications from ex-wife Angelina Jolie in their ongoing legal fight over Chateau Miraval, the French winery the former couple once co-owned. According to court documents filed on June 30 and obtained by People magazine, the 61-year-old actor requested records and a deposition from Alexey Oliynik, an employee of the Stoli Group. Pitt believes Oliynik has key information about Jolie's 2021 sale of her stake in the winery to Stoli's wine division, Tenute del Mondo. What's Happening The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star claims that Jolie made the sale without his consent, violating a past agreement that neither of them would sell their share without the other's approval. In February 2022, he sued Jolie, while Jolie responded in September 2022 with a countersuit, accusing Pitt of "waging a vindictive war" against her since their separation in 2016. As per People, in Pitt's new document filed in the Superior Court of California, Oliynik has refused to provide documents or sit for questioning, stating that he cannot be forced to do so since he resides in Switzerland. Pitt's team argues these records are important to prove that Jolie "acted with malice" by selling her share to a buyer Pitt had long opposed. In The Past Angelina Jolie's legal team has previously claimed Pitt would only buy her out if she signed a non-disclosure agreement meant to keep her from speaking about alleged abuse. That includes an incident on a private jet in 2016, where Pitt was reportedly verbally and physically abusive. Authorities investigated but did not press charges, and Jolie did not pursue legal action at the time, People reported. The two, who share six children, finalised their divorce in December 2023, but the legal battle over Chateau Miraval remains unsettled. In 2024, a judge ordered Jolie to submit eight years' worth of NDAs she issued to others as part of the dispute over the terms Pitt allegedly asked her to agree to. A source close to Jolie told People that she hopes the family can find peace. According to the magazine, a source close to Pitt shared that Jolie's actions have caused "tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family."
