Aidan Chiles listed as one of QBs that could "soar" up 2026 NFL Draft board Michigan State football starting quarterback Aidan Chiles has been pegged a player that could see their NFL Draft stock "soar" this upcoming season. Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz of USA TODAY put together an article assessing 10 under-the-radar quarterback prospects that could have big years this upcoming see and Chiles cracked the list. In Middlehurst-Schwartz's article dubbed "Which QBs could be next to rise in NFL draft? These 10 prospects might soar in 2026", it was noted that Chiles' athletic ability will grab NFL scouts attention as long as he also becomes more consistent. Here's what Middlehurst-Schwartz had to say about Chiles: "In following coach Jonathan Smith from Oregon State to Michigan State in December 2023, Chiles gave the Spartans some much-needed hope as they looked to turn the page on the Mel Tucker era. Yet nothing came easily to a program stuck in transition, and the former four-star recruit threw for just 13 touchdowns with 11 interceptions as his team stumbled to a 5-7 mark. Tamping down on his turnover-prone ways will be a vital step in Chiles' development this season. But with his often dazzling deep balls and abundant athleticism, the 6-3, 217-pounder will capture plenty of attention if he can boost his efficiency and consistency." Chiles had an up-and-down first year with the Spartans, throwing for 2,415 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He was better in the back half of the season, though, which should give fans some hope for further growth in 2025. I wrote earlier this week how Chiles will be a massive indicator for success (or failure) for the Spartans in 2025. If he can reach his ceiling, I believe he'll have the Spartans in contention for a spot in the College Football Playoff, and it sounds like Middlehurst-Schwartz that would result in him climbing up the 2026 NFL Draft board too. Livvy Dunne, Jordan Chiles stun at SI Swim red carpet
Women in sports ruled the red carpet at the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Launch Party in New York on Thursday. Retired LSU gymnast Olivia 'Livvy' Dunne and Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles looked stunning while posing together at Hard Rock Hotel. Dunne and Chiles, along with Academy Award nominee Salma Hayek and entrepreneur Lauren Chan, are this year's cover stars. Dunne looked stunning in a strapless mini dress. Chiles was beautiful in a black dress with leg slit and cut-outs. Dunne met up with Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, who made her SI Swimsuit debut in the 2025 issue. After an outfit change it was time for the after party. Dunne, who is a New Jersey native, changed into a sheer black dress with a white crop and shorts underneath. The former NCAA champ posed for photos with rapper 50 Cent, who was spotted pouring champagne into her glass and later performed. Chiles and Hayek were dancing and laughing together, as seen in photos from the party. The pair had a lot to celebrate after making their SI Swimsuit debuts. A first-time cover star, Chan returned for her third consecutive year with the franchise. This marks Dunne's first SI Swimsuit cover and her third consecutive appearance in the magazine. Dunne and more Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models have been promoting the new issue at various events in New York.

Jordan Chiles once thought she was 'ugly.' Now she's proud to be SI Swimsuit cover model
U.S. and UCLA gymnast Jordan Chiles is a two-time Olympian and three-time NCAA individual champion. She looks completely comfortable in her own skin as she's performing a floor routine to music by empowering artists like Beyoncé and proudly displaying the more than 20 "amazing art pieces" she has tattooed on her body. Advertisement For much of Chiles' life, however, the body that helped propel her to athletic greatness made her feel "ugly" and self-conscious. But when she first saw photos of herself as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, "I literally started bawling my eyes out," Chiles recently told People magazine. Chiles said her mother, Gina, reacted similarly. "My mom actually cried a few times from some of the photos because she's been there literally every single moment of my life," Chiles said, "so I think it was more of her realizing how beautiful her daughter is and what I've gone through. "She was there when I would cry and be like, 'Mom, they're saying this. They're saying that.' Or I would look at myself in the mirror and call myself ugly almost every day. I think it was just really cool for her to know that I get this opportunity and that I get the ability to embrace who Jordan is." Advertisement Chiles was a member of the U.S. Olympic squads that won team silver at the Tokyo Games in 2021 and team gold at the Paris Games last summer. Chiles was also awarded her first individual Olympic medal, a bronze in the floor exercise, in Paris but it was taken away because of a technicality. She also finished second in the all-around competition in 2023 and helped the Bruins to a second-place overall finish this year. Chiles has already announced she will return to Westwood next year for her senior season. When the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue hits newsstands on Saturday, Chiles will be one of four models appearing on her own cover (Olivia Dunne, Salma Hayek Pinault and Lauren Chan are the others). As opposed to how she felt looking at her own reflection years ago, Chiles said she is "in awe" after seeing herself on the front of the iconic magazine.
