Iowa football rivalry date featured among top CBS games in 2025 season

Iowa football rivalry date featured among top CBS games in 2025 season College football's foundation is built upon rivalries. It is what makes the sport great, gets fans engaged, and has certain games meaning more than others. For the Iowa Hawkeyes, one rivalry caps off each regular season and seems to do so with fireworks every year. The Iowa Hawkeyes and Nebraska Cornhuskers square off each year on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, in a game that has morphed into must-see television. It constantly comes down to the final moments to determine the winner of the Heroes Trophy. With a handful of Iowa's kickoff times announced for their 2025 schedule, their date against Nebraska is set for 11 a.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 28. Set to air on CBS, the matchup has been tabbed as one of the network's top, must-see games of the 2025 season due to its intensity and drama. Iowa at Nebraska (11/28) Expect a close one on Black Friday Iowa and Nebraska have delivered thrills nearly every Thanksgiving weekend for the last decade, and the small margins between the two programs has always packed intensity into their respective regular season finales. The interesting twist here is that while nine of the last 11 games in the rivalry have been decided by seven points or less, nine of the last 11 games have also been won by Iowa. If Matt Rhule and the Cornhuskers are going to have a true breakthrough season in 2025 it doesn't need to include a win over the Hawkeyes necessarily, but it would definitely help the vibes to finish the regular season by snapping this recent run of struggles. - Chip Patterson, CBS Sports Although Nebraska leads the all-time series by a margin of 30-22-3, the Hawkeyes have been dominant in recent years. Dating back to 2015, Iowa has lost just once to the Cornhuskers, which came in 2022. Since the rivalry resumed in 2011 after a decade-long hiatus, Iowa owns a record of 10-4. What makes this game even more intriguing is how often it is decided late. Since 2018, Iowa has had four wins that have come by just three points. MacKenzie Realty Capital Announces Letter of Intent to Purchase Waterfront Property in Suisun

ORINDA, Calif., Feb. 26, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacKenzie Realty Capital, Inc. (Nasdaq: MKZR) ('MacKenzie' or the 'Company') announced that it signed a nonbinding letter of intent to expand its multi-family portfolio in Solano County, California, with a waterfront development property located adjacent to the Solano Yacht Club ('Westwind Residences'), a 5.73 acre parcel on which the Company hopes to develop 81 multi-family apartment units and 7 townhomes. Westwind Residences is a waterfront property located in downtown Suisun City, California. As previously reported, MacKenzie has two other developments in Solano County, including the 74-unit Aurora at Green Valley, which is proceeding under budget and ahead of schedule and is set to deliver its first units this summer. MacKenzie's second multi-family development, Blue Ridge at Suisun Valley, is entitled for 84 units, and we intend to break ground in late 2025. 'Westwind Residences will be our largest development to-date, and the highest profile, with its waterfront location right in downtown Suisun City' stated Robert Dixon, president of Mackenzie. 'It is a couple of blocks away from our property at One Harbor Center, the premier office location in Suisun City. We believe Solano County, and Suisun City in particular, is poised for extraordinary growth in the near future, with its location near Travis Airforce Base and multiple planned developments, including many that have been in the news lately.' Further, Chip Patterson, MacKenzie's Chairman noted that 'We are excited about multifamily projects in California. For example, our Southern California multi-family project, Hillview Hollywood, has 96% of its units currently occupied, and we have received a loan commitment for a refinancing that is scheduled to close in about 3 weeks, which will bring our interest rate down from 10% to about 5.8% at today's rates.' About MacKenzie Realty Capital, Inc. MacKenzie, founded in 2013, is a West Coast-focused REIT that intends to invest at least 80% of its total assets in real property, and up to a maximum of 20% of its total assets in illiquid real estate securities. We intend for the real property portfolio to be approximately 50% multifamily and 50% boutique class A office. The Company has paid a dividend every year since inception. The current portfolio includes interests in 4 multifamily properties and 8 office properties plus 2 multifamily developments. For more information, please contact MacKenzie at (800) 854-8357. Clemson vs. SMU could define the 2025 College Football Playoff race

Clemson vs. SMU could define the 2025 College Football Playoff race CBS Sports has identified key matchups throughout the 2025 college football season that could influence the 12-team College Football Playoff race, and Clemson's clash with SMU on Oct. 18 was highlighted as Week 8's most impactful game. The Tigers and Mustangs will meet in Death Valley for the first time, renewing a matchup that delivered a thrilling finish in the 2024 ACC Championship Game. That contest ended with Nolan Hauser drilling a 56-yard field goal as time expired, securing Clemson's 22nd conference title and a return to the CFP after a four-year absence. CBS Sports' Chip Patterson noted that Week 8 features several major showdowns, including Georgia-Ole Miss and Alabama-Tennessee, but emphasized the importance of the Clemson-SMU rematch in the ACC race. With the Tigers aiming to build on their recent success, this game could significantly shape the playoff picture. Like last season, we should expect fireworks in this matchup. Both offenses should be very explosive in 2025, and each team should be competing for the conference title. Clemson, ranked No. 8 in CBS Sports' early 2025 rankings, will begin its season with a showdown against LSU at home on Aug. 30.
