‘Nobody wants this!' scream Love Island fans as controversial challenge returns and viewers threaten to ‘switch off'

In the coming episodes, viewers will witness the Love Islanders coupled up and doing their best to take care of a screaming baby doll. For some, the challenge will bring them closer. But others may leave thinking twice about whether they wish to have children in the future. Fans of the show are far from happy to hear the news though, taking to social media to express their disappointment in seeing the challenge return. 'We wanted the tweet challenge back!! No one cares about some f*** ass baby dolls,' said one user. A second shared: 'I actually hate the baby doll challenge. Lol this is when I stop watching'. A third agrees: 'There is nothing I hate more than the baby challenge, actively skip it everytime.' The ITV2 show made the decision to axe the baby challenge after nine seasons back in 2023 to allow space to welcome new tasks and challenges to the show. A sports day event was instead switched in place that year, and saw the Islanders competed in various athletic and silly games. At the time, fans were sad to see the baby challenge go, deeming the replacement as 'boring and dull'. One Twitter user shared: 'All I wanted was Tyrella in the baby challenge. Was that too much to ask for???'. Love Island gets over 9,000 Ofcom complaints in just a week as fuming viewers slam show But this year it seems that viewers feel the opposite way. Lasting love has been found in the villa for ex-Islanders, including Molly-Mae Hague, 26, and Tommy Fury, 26, who made it through the baby challenge in 2019. The couple, who briefly split in August last year, welcomed their first child, daughter Bambi, back in 2023. With tensions already high between many of the duos in this year's lineup, including Dejon and Meg, it's going to be interesting seeing what unfolds. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2. 4 The Love Islanders have undertaken other challenges like balancing books on their heads, but nothing compared to this Credit: Eroteme

Chris told the trolls to unfollow him if they didn't like what they saw clap back Chris Hughes hits back as he's cruelly branded 'creepy' by troll for JoJo Siwa romance Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CHRIS Hughes has reacted to ongoing trolling by people who say he is "creepy" for his relationship with JoJo Siwa. The former Love Islander, 32, met the 22-year-old American pop star in this year's Celebrity Big Brother house where their relationship blossomed before the country's eyes. The carousel of photos included them gazing lovingly at each other, sharing kisses, lounging at home, playing sports including tennis and golf, spending time with family, and soaking up some sun poolside. Chris captioned the post: "Just everything. Missing you," and added a series of emojis, including a white love heart. While Chris received mainly positive comments from his 2.2 million followers, other people were not so kind, but the TV star did not shy away from standing up for himself. One troll named Pauline wrote: "Does anybody else find this creepy," to which Chris responded, "No Pauline, you're miserable, p**s off kindly," and she retorted, "lol we see long it lasts." Christ wrote back to her: "Yeah again, you don't need to speak, you don't follow me, respectfully do one thank you." But the trolling did not end there with another hater named Liz writing: "Mate sort yourself out. You would do anything for fame," and a fan of Chris stepped in to defend him: "Oh Liz, imagine hating someone who's just living and happy. Misery aren't you." Liz replied: "I don't hate anybody sweetheart I just live in the real world," and Chris responded to her, "the real world! online bullies are the real world apparently." The experience of online trolling and bullying were very common for the famous pair and could trigger intense emotions, as was proved recently when Chris accidentally triggered memories of abuse from bullies for Jojo. The singer took to Instagram to share a video of the pair as she said: 'I'm drying my hair right now and he goes, 'You have a really good hairline'.' JoJo Siwa breaks down in tears after boyfriend Chris Hughes accidentally triggers memories of bully abuse As the two laughed, Chris added: 'You do have a good hairline, I don't get what's making you laugh.' JoJo said: 'No, it's making me cry, that's the number one thing I was bullied for as a kid.' As Chris comforted his girlfriend, she opened up: 'That's destroyed me over the years and you've just said it out of literal nowhere and it was really nice.' The Love Island star proceeded to wipe JoJo's tears from her face with a tissue as the couple hugged in a sweet embrace. JoJo previously revealed she experienced a stress rash as a child, which caused hair loss on one side of her head. This was made worse by the tight hairstyles she wore for dance performances, with the Dance Moms star being known for her signature ponytail.

Chris Hughes, 32, hits back at trolls accusing him of 'doing anything for fame' amid his romance with JoJo Siwa, 22

passionately hit back at trolls this weekend after they accused him of being a 'creep' and 'doing anything for fame' amid his romance with JoJo Siwa. The former Love Islander, 32, found love with the singer, 22, on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year - shocking fans with their unlikely romance. And on Saturday Chris shared a slew of loved-up snaps with JoJo amid their long-distance relationship and penned in the caption: 'just everything - missing you.' Underneath one troll had commented saying: 'Does anybody else find this creepy.' Chris then responded to the woman named Pauline, saying: 'no Pauline, you're miserable, p**s off kindly.' She then responded: 'lol we see long it lasts.' He then continued in a second comment: 'yeah again, you don't need to speak, you don't follow me, respectfully do one thank you.' Chris Hughes passionately hit back at trolls this weekend after they accused him of being a 'creep' and 'doing anything for fame' amid his romance with JoJo Siwa On Saturday Chris shared a slew of loved-up snaps with JoJo amid their long-distance relationship but some of the comments underneath were unkind Another troll called Liz had also commented under his loved-up post, saying: 'Mate sort yourself out. You would do anything for fame.' One of Chris' fans then defended him saying: 'oh liz, imagine hating someone who's just living and happy. Misery aren't you.' Liz then wrote back: 'I don't hate anybody sweetheart I just live in the real world.' To which Chris then responded: 'the real world! online bullies are the real world apparently.' His fans were loving that he was addressing some of the trolls as one said: 'love your energy tonight Chris!' His responses come after Chris opened up on future baby plans with JoJo as he gushed over their romance. In a chat with US Weekly, Chris recently said: 'We genuinely speak to each other about this, I would be lying if I said we didn't. 'When you're besotted with each other and in love with someone I think it's fun to look forward to those things. Chris continued: 'Of course I want to get married to her, I would never shy away from that. And one day I want to have children. One day I'd love to have children, it would be an absolute dream for sure.' It came after Chris revealed the nickname JoJo has for his private parts in a shocking X-rated confession. The star told E! News last week: 'She calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy. So she must like Jimmy and Timmy,' adding that she loves 'the rhyming lingo.' He also sweetly described JoJo as the 'love of his life' in the chat after confirming they were officially in a relationship last month. Chris said: 'She's literally the love of my life, but she's also my best friend. Like, we sit and do nothing together.' He also explained that the pair only formally had their first date together recently as they prefer to spend time in each other's company instead. He recalled: 'We went up to Malibu and we went for a lovely dinner and it was like a date night. On the way back - it was like an hour drive home - we parked up and we said to each other, 'That was actually our first proper date together.'' The TV star explained that the experience further solidified the belief that he and JoJo are the ideal match for each other. JoJo revealed last month that she had 'so many thoughts' about marrying Chris. Speaking to TMZ, JoJo said: 'He is my favourite person in the world... It's beautiful, it kind of radiates. He's my favourite person and I am very grateful and very happy.' The former Nickelodeon star also rubbished suggestions that the pair's romance was merely a 'PR stunt'. She told The Guardian newspaper: 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.' However, JoJo does understand why others are intrigued that she and Chris are together. She said: 'People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop. I think everyone's just curious, and I can't blame them.'

People Are Gushing Over This "Extremely Cute" Moment Between JoJo Siwa And Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes's romance keeps going mega viral. Raymond Hall / GC Images, Dave Benett /for Longines After being accused by the internet of sometimes sharing "too much information," JoJo shared a "healing" moment between her and Chris, and now people are changing their tunes. Related: In early June, the Dance Moms and Love Island alums confirmed their relationship was "not platonic any more" after everyone witnessed their friendship blossom on Celebrity Big Brother UK in April. Since then, JoJo and Chris have dominated social media, sharing different aspects of their romance, and the internet has mixed reactions. Earlier this month, people speculated that JoJo and Chris were expecting their first child after watching their TikToks. And earlier this week, people were horrified when Chris shared too much information in an E! News interview about how JoJo calls his testicles "Jimmy and Timmy." Related: Well, the always-online couple dropped a new video, but it appears the internet is not cringing but praising how Chris treats JoJo. On July 24, JoJo shared an Instagram video of her becoming emotional after Chris compliments her hairline. In a lengthy caption, JoJo wrote, "He had no idea of the 2017-2020 hairline memes, that I'm not affected by on the daily anymore, but him saying this out of thin air literally finished healing a part of me." "It's almost like I had a band aid over it for the last 8 years and just wa leaving it there scared to look under it to see if it's healed and he removed it being like why do u have this on before I could even explain what it was," she continued. In the video, JoJo laughs and cries as a slightly confused, but compassionate Chris comforts her. "Lucky lucky girl I am. Don't even think I realize how lucky sometimes 🤍✨🥺." Related: Based on the reactions, people are gushing over this extremely wholesome moment between them: One Instagram user wrote, "Find someone who heals you without even trying❤️" "omg i'm so happy jojo is getting the love she deserves," one person wrote. Another person wrote, "She's in her healing era ✨ and we LOVE that for her!!" Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause said, "This is extremely cute." Related: Someone else said, "He's so soft with her. It's so cute." "He's legitimately the sweetest guy. He's very sweet on you. I love it. You deserve him so much. You deserve real happiness, JoJo," another user wrote. Another Instagram user said, "Stop I'm crying for you. You know you've found your person when they begin healing parts of you that they didn't break & you didn't know could be healed. They love you for every part of you. I'm so happy for you too my goodness😭🤍🤍." And finally, somebody said, "I'm here for this relationship ❤️."
