Fruity Florals Lead 2025 Perfume Trends, Plus Top New Scents To Shop
Juliette Has A Gun Miami Shake Juliette Has A Gun Classic perfumes will always stand the test of time, but if you're looking for a trending option this summer, you can't go wrong with a fruity floral. That's especially the case for anything strawberry, which is dominating the category. But that doesn't just mean dessert-esque fragrances—the note can go sophisticated and subtle. It's part of the larger gourmand trend that has been leading the fragrance world and taking unexpected turns. These are the top new fruity floral and gourmand scents, as well as the best new perfumes spanning every category for summer 2025. Chanel Chance eau Splendide Chanel A raspberry accord is what instantly catches your attention in the fifth fragrance in the Chanel Chance family. Rose geranium, cedar, white musk and iris round out the floral gourmand, which is delicate, optimistic and bright, all while paying homage to the Chance scents that have come before it. $176, Chloé Atelier Des Fleurs Cedrus Intense Coty A woody amber, this perfume tells the story of cedarwood as it evolves throughout the day. It opens with bergamot and crushed leaves, has a heart of leathery rose, and cedarwood, sandalwood and Indian sand vetiver for a deep, creamy base. $354, Terre d'Hermés Eau de Parfum Intense Hermés Woody and wonderful, Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel dreamed this up as an interpretation of the inner fire that animates people and the planet. Notes of bergamot, burning wood and lava stone achieve that effect. $168, Henry Jacques Il Y Avait Un Jardin… II Henry Jacques Family-owned French perfume brand Henry Jacques has been carefully crafting fragrances using old world techniques for decades. Now they're launching their first cologne-inspired eau de toilette, 'Il Y Avait Un Jardin…' which translates to 'There Was A Garden…' Delightfully fresh and woody, it blends trio of citrusy top notes—lemon, bergamot and mandarin—with lavender and nutmeg and a base of vetiver and tonka bean. $350, D.S. & Durga Rum Bay Rum D.S. & Durga A trio of limited-edition scents pays homage to both old-fashioned classic menswear and colognes. Rum Bay Rum is a stiff drink from a bygone era, with bay rum, sandalwood, clove, neroli and juniper berry. There's also Golfjazz that brings you to the putting green with notes of grass, limes, leather, mint, moss, patchouli, mimosa, cypress and cedarwood, as well as Grey Blazer, which conveys soft herringbone tweed with green spices, hedgerow flowers, virgin wool, tea, cyclamen, mandarin, guaicwood, carnation, tonka and lavender. $210, Bulgari Eau Parfumée Au Thé Vert Bulgari Bulgari has many iconic scents but this green tea one just might top the list. Originally created in 1992 as an exclusive gift for the house's top clients, the perfume has been updated with a new formula that spotlights a deeper and natural concentration of tea. Light and citrusy, the scent is completed with a floral accord of neroli petals and bergamot. $250, The Maker Revel The Maker Revel Accurately named, the muse behind Revel is celebrations—and this sparkling fruity-floral will surely put you in the mood to party. Warm and energizing, the effervescent blend of pineapple, lychee, frangipani and musk will amp you up for a time out on the town. $175, Krigler Octave Aurum 25 Krigler Enjoy a night at the opera with this deep woody amber perfume inspired by the Paris Opera. Named after the 'golden key,' a reference to octaves in music, the perfume was created in 1925 to pay homage to the Krigler family's appreciation of the Palais Garnier. The velvet curtains, polished wood and softness of satin gloves they frequently saw there is captured in the rich, sophisticated blend of bergamot, olibanum, black pepper, lavender, iris, coffee, tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli, cedarwood and oud. $855, LoveShackFancy Love on the Beach LoveShackFancy Plenty of perfumes try to capture the beach in a bottle, but this one truly transports you to a sun-dappled shoreline, somewhere tropical with a breeze carrying the smell of coconuts and salt water. To add a floral touch—and give it that LoveShackFancy signature—it also has frangiapani. $125, Valentino Donna Born in Roma Extradose Valentino The latest in the Born in Roma continues the theme of exploring the ancient city after dark. The big, vibrant ambery floral plays on that notion of the allure of a timeless adventure in the eternal city with vanilla, cassis accord and rum. Go for his and hers with the men's version, Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Extradose, a woody amber. $198, DedCool Mochi Milk Eau de Parfum DedCool Sweet and snuggly, this is nostalgic comfort in olfactive form. The gourmand skin scent feels like surrounding yourself with fluffy clouds. It opens with peach nectar and incense with a jasmine heart and base of sandalwood, amber and white musk. $90, Jo Malone Beach Blossom Cologne Jo Malone This doesn't capture just any beach—it's the Seychelles, where you'll find the rare sea coconut, dubbed 'coco de mer,' which is the muse of the scent. Coconut water, lime, tonka bean and vanilla create the unisex blend that brings you straight to a tropical shoreline. $168, Glossier You Fleur Glossier Glossier's skin scent has been an undeniable hit. Fleur, the latest iteration, gives it a floral twist that's still subtle, true to the fragrance's DNA. Mineral salt accord, apricot skin, osmanthus, ylang ylang and musky ambrox lend it a velvety turn. $78, YSL Libre L'eau Nue YSL Diaphanous and airy, there's an interesting story behind this perfume's lightness: It's the first alcohol-free scent from YSL. The oil-in-water formula gives skin a glowing radiance while imparting it with a juicy, citrus floral scent that pays homage to Mediterranean summers, courtesy of bergamot, green mandarin and orange blossom. $145, Molton Brown Bluebell & Wild Strawberry Eau de Parfum Molton Brown Imagine taking an alpine walk in the spring and encountering bluebells, the gently scented wildflower that's at the heart of this floral fruity scent. Its counterpart is strawberry to bring some sweetness to the perfume. Violet leaf, amber accord and driftwood round out the mix with an earthy, soft touch. $180, Les Eaux Primordiales Ambre Superfluide Eau de Parfum Les Eaux Primordiales Deeply French in its approach and craftsmanship, Les Eaux Primordiales is finally available stateside. Each bottle of perfume is made by hand in their workshop following authentic traditions of French haute perfumerie. Warm and delicious, Ambre Superfluide brings a long winter day spent next to a fire to life, with apple and cinnamon pie and gingerbread cooking on the hearth. It opens with honey, apple, cinnamon, sesame and bergamot; has a heart of rose, cardamom and fir balsam; and a base of black vanilla, amber, tobacco, rum, benzoin and musks. $295, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky Eau de Parfum Maison Francis Kurkdjian Look through the back of bottle and you'll see doodles printed behind the label. This perfectly encapsulates the story behind the scent, which is the master perfume's childhood. It's even named after his childhood nickname, Kurky. One olfactive reference is the sugared almonds he received in a bright orange box for his baptism, which he still has and treasures today. The whimsical gourmand is made up of a red fruit accord and white musk base. $245, Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Parfum Tom Ford Somehow the name and the scent are equally attention-grabbing. Now the original is even more potent thanks to an even bigger dose of leather and new notes of fir balsam and roasted tonka bean. $608, Coach For Men Eau de Parfum Coach The black lacquer bottle is the perfect representation of the juice inside: a spicy, woody floral that's deep, dark and a little mysterious. Meant to capture the energy of Coach's New York City home, it was created by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou with top notes of bergamot oil and cardamom, a heart of geranium and cedarwood, and a base of Saffiano leather and vetiver. $122, Vacation Grand Cuvée Vacation Vacation burst onto the scene with their brilliant marketing and SPFs that don't feel like sunscreen. But another element of their success is their delicious scents, which are not only available in sunscreen format. This eau de toilette was inspired by the heart of their Chardonnay Oil SPF 30, blending argan, amber, vanilla bean, cognac, cedarwood and, of course, notes of champagne. $60, WA:IT AKA WA:IT 'Aka' means 'red' in Japanese, signifying the new energy that spring ushers in. The functional fragrance is meant to boost mood, bring inner balance and spark the senses, all while imbuing a sense of clarity and peace. The combination of grapefruit, pink pepper, saffron, cinnamon, juniper berries, lavender, patchouli, frankincense, cypress, cedarwood, amber and plant-based musk make for a serene blend. $175, Ellis Brooklyn Guava Granita Eau de Parfum Ellis Brooklyn Take a whiff of this sweet and fruity juice and you'll almost feel a fruity cocktail with a tiny umbrella in your hand and the sand beneath your toes. Tropical notes of guava, banana and mango blossom mingling with vanilla and almond milk bring a sun-drenched vacation to life. $115, NOYZ Detour Eau de Parfum NOYZ Imagine rolling down the windows, taking in the breeze and simply following wherever the road takes you without a destination in mind. That's the mood perfumer Jerome Epinette captured in this floral gourmand that feels carefree and open to anything. That nonchalance is achieved with a trio of white florals—gardenia, jasmine and tiare—and apple blossom, skin musk and vanilla. $85, Bulgari Allegra Insieme Eau de Parfum Bulgari Created by father-daughter duo Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier and Camille Cavallier, Insieme honors the bond of lasting friendship. Meant to celebrate moments together, the woody juice is bright, happy and optimistic, with the combination of cedarwood, patchouli, peony accord and mandarin. $295, Glasshouse Perfume Pencils Glasshouse An innovative way to package perfume, these pencils are ideal for on-the-go and travel—you can touch up with them anywhere. Ideal for gifting, the pretty packaging includes two solid pencil perfumes: Kyoto in Bloom spotlights camellia and lotus, while Midnight in Milan features saffron and rose. $40, Altaia Woo(e)d Eau de Parfum Altaia The clever name says it all: This woody scent is meant for wooing. Warm and intriguing yet grounding, it pulls people, sparking an attraction. Atlas cedarwood, Gaiac wood, leather, cardamom and cistus make for a spicy sweetness. $255, Juliette Has A Gun Miami Shake Juliette Has A Gun Proof that the strawberry perfume trend is still going strong, the muse behind this one is—you guessed it—a Miami summer. That makes for one sweet treat with a combo of wild strawberries, whipped cream and vanilla in a bright rainbow bottle that sums up the juice inside. $115, Boy Smells Woodphoria Boy Smells Major changes recently landed at Boy Smells—the gender fluid scent company unveiled a rebrand with new packaging of their perfumes and candles. Woodphoria is a woody floral that smells like an enchanted forest with notes of coconut water, fig leaves and sandalwood. $78, Arquiste Tropical Eau de Parfum Arquiste Tropical Welcome to the jungle. Filled with fruits and flowers, it brings a tropical paradise to life with notes of champaca orchids, ripe guava, fresh ginger, Mexican vanilla and mahogany. A modernist garden in Mêrida, Yucatán served as its muse. $225, Trudon Under the Trees Candle Trudon As part of Trudon's Lost In A Moment Summer Capsule collection, Under the Trees is the perfect summer candle. It feels like stepping into a vegetable garden after the rain, when scents are elevated and crisper. It opens with crisp cucumber and blackcurrant, has a heart of spearmint and jasmine, and a cedarwood base. $140, Initio Power Self STUDIOJ | STUDIO CALONE/JASPAR The name Power Self is quite literal here, as the unisex woody floral scent is designed to connect fragrance and the brain's sensory receptors to boost confidence. The blend of white flowers, osmanthus, white rose, magnolia, black pepper, ambrox, sandalwood and musk molecule is sure to put a pep in your step and improve well-being as intended. $410, Maison Margiela Replica Never-Ending Summer Eau de Toilette Maison Margiela Replica Who doesn't want to smell like an Italian summer? Like a warm hug, the woody, powdery musk combines suede, sandalwood, patchouli, musk, tonka bean and amber. $250, Penhaligon's Fortuitous Finley Penhaligon's Essentially the horse girl trend in olfactive form, even the bottle topper is all about the equestrian. Cardamom, black pepper, salted pistachio and matcha-dusted violet leaf will make you want to break out the riding boots. $335, Heretic Midnight Toker Eau de Parfum Heretic You'll be high on Heretic with this perfume mostly crafted from natural ingredients for an addictive effect. Lush and smokey, it's reminiscent of clove cigarettes, with notes of clove, cypriol, orris root, jasmine, apricot, tobacco, vanilla, birch tar and labdanum. $165, Hermès Poivre Samarcande Eau de Toilette Hermès Each fragrance in Hermès's Hermessence collection, Spices from Faraway, tells the story of two materials beautifully blended together. In the case of Poivre Samarcande Eau de Toilette, perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena looked to the memory of an oak tree that "used to grow in front of my house. Eventually, it had to be felled. The peppery, musky and slightly smoky scent of the cut wood became etched in my memory." The duo of black pepper and mossy oak brings that tree to life. $362, Diptyque Orphéon Eau de Parfum Diptyque Imagine a Parisian jazz club where musicians mingle with music lovers. This candle captures the time of the desert sky changing from day to a starlight night with fruity notes of raspberry juxtaposed with cactus fruit blossoms and a cedarwood base. Even the lilac hand-blown glass vessel looks to the hues of the desert, housing the invigorating and fresh scent. $50, Daisy Wild Eau So Intense Marc Jacobs Coty The beauty of nature is the theme behind this ebullient scent. Sephora shoppers rave over 'sophisticated' Armani perfume that's now 21% off
"This smells like feminine luxury. It's such a complex fragrance. Beautifully crafted. I know fragrance is deeply personal, but this one makes me feel like I could take over the world. It balances power and femininity so well." Sephora has slashed the price of a 'stop you in your tracks perfume' with thousands of fans. Sí by Giorgio Armani would typically cost £69 for a 30ml bottle but has had 21% knocked off, bringing it down to £54.45. It opens up with cassis, which may be better recognised as the leaves of blackcurrants, before deepening to a floral heart of May rose and freesia. It's got a classic base of vanilla, patchouli, ambroxan and woody notes. It was created by the in-house perfumer of Hermès, Christine Nagel who is also credited with 46 perfumes for Jo Malone, including Wood Sage & Sea Salt, £55. Another much-loved scent on salr is Guerlain's Samsara Eau de Toilette Spray - now reduced to £82 (was £110) on The Perfume Shop. Sí has brought in an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 from across 2,419 reviews. One shopper said: "This smells like feminine luxury. It's such a complex fragrance. Beautifully crafted. I know fragrance is deeply personal, but this one makes me feel like I could take over the world. It balances power and femininity so well." A second penned: "This is a stop you in your tracks perfume! It's a fragrance that's alluring and sophisticated, pretty yet mysterious. I've been asked by strangers what perfume I'm wearing, and even asked where they could buy it…for their girlfriend! So yes… Si is for me, always." A third wrote: "This is my signature scent! It's always my go to for a subtle yet intriguing smell. I like scents that invite people in a gentle way and this is one I'll always keep on hand." A fourth added: "Classy. This scent is very sophisticated. I love wearing this in the winter in my little black dress dripping in diamonds. It is sweet & spicy at the same. I absolutely adore it. To those who say it's too mature, my 13 year old loves it." There have been mixed takes on the longevity with one shopper saying: "Sample arrived quickly and was well packaged. Unfortunately my partner didn't like the smell of it. He said it was too strong." Some swing the other way, writing: "I really like this fragrance, classy and spicy without being overpowering. But, it lasts no longer than an hour on me! I guess it's my chemistry - and I'm sad because I would have invested in this." Application of perfume can have a huge impact on the longevity of a scent. We would always recommend applying perfume directly to clean and freshly moisturised skin with at least one spritz per pulse point. It's also important to store perfume in a cool and dark place such as a cupboard or drawer.
