Email tips@ He's long been known for his rock n'roll persona. And in honour of his 28th birthday, Yungblud has shown that his wild image began to manifest itself from a young age with a hilarious throwback post. The hitmaker took to Instagram to share a fun snap of himself during his childhood, as he enjoyed his birthday with a sunny getaway. The image showed Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, sporting a pirate headdress with a wild expression, along with the caption: 'It's not a phase.' The musician had already marked his new age by celebrating making it through the so-called '27 Club,' in a birthday post on Instagram. In one photo, the English rocker sported a Chrome Hearts camouflage trucker cap emblazoned with the words 'Chrome Hearts f**k Hollywood', as he appeared to relax on a boat out at sea. Yungblud has shared a hilarious childhood throwback post in honour of his 28th birthday, after celebrating making it through the '27 club' The hitmaker took to Instagram to share a fun snap of himself during his childhood, as he enjoyed his birthday with a sunny getaway In another snap posted to his Instagram Stories, the singer posed shirtless in just a pair of black swimming shorts, drink in hand, as he let his hair down on the beach. Referencing the '27 Club' he captioned the birthday post: 'Made it through 27. thank f**k. here's to 28. love you all. i will forever.' Since the Seventies, the untimely deaths of influential musicians at 27 has led to a popular belief in the so-called '27 Club' phenomenon. Unfortunate members include Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and Janis Joplin, who all died at the same young age. The birthday snaps come after Yungblud shared a picture of the gift Ozzy Osbourne gave him before he died, hours after he gave a reading at the funeral at his home in Buckinghamshire. The singer had a very strong relationship with Ozzy, whom he first met in 2022, and it appeared that their relationship grew into an almost father-son type bond. Yungblud reportedly gave a touching reading at The Black Sabbath frontman's funeral last week, after his death aged 76 on July 22. Following the emotional day, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to share a close-up snap of the cross necklace Ozzy gifted him in 2022, during the filming of his The Funeral music video. The musician had already marked his new age by celebrating making it through the so-called '27 Club,' in a birthday post on Instagram The birthday snaps come after Yungblud shared a picture of the gift Ozzy Osbourne gave him just before he died Following the emotional day, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to share a close-up snap of the cross necklace Ozzy gifted him Yungblud later returned the favour by gifting Ozzy a custom-made cross necklace before Black Sabbath's final show at Villa Park in Birmingham. He wrote in the caption: 'goodnight oz. your light will forever shine. I love you,' with fans noting in the caption that Ozzy has 'passed the torch of darkness on' to Yungblud. Yungblud previously revealed that the gift from Ozzy is the 'most precious thing' as he paid a 'truly heartbroken' tribute to the rocker. The singer performed Changes at Black Sabbath's final concert and has vowed to play it in Ozzy's memory going forward. Rock legend Ozzy was buried in the grounds of his own mansion in Buckinghamshire - as he had said he desired. His widow, Sharon, 72, and their children were joined by heavy rock royalty at the event at the family's home near Gerrards Cross, where he was being laid to rest near a lake at the heart of the sprawling 250-acre estate. Marilyn Manson led the stars arriving at Ozzy's private funeral as the heavy metal icon was laid to rest. Following the funeral, Marilyn took to Instagram as he penned: 'Today we laid to rest a beloved friend. I am eternally grateful that you let me into your life Ozzy. 'Your inspiration and love will always be with me. Thank you Sharon and family for a reverent, beautiful ceremony. Your legacy lives on.' Guests also included Manson's wife, Lindsay Usich and Ozzy's lead guitarist, Zakk Wylde. And in true Ozzy fashion, stars arrived in gothic and heavy metal attire, with Rob Zombie donning skulls on a black scarf while Manson wore a long black jacket. A huge floral tribute in the grounds of the mansion spells out an affectionate tribute to the heavy metal legend, with the words, 'OZZY F***ING OSBOURNE', on the banks of the Osbourne lake.

Jack Osbourne shares story of 'picky eater' Ozzy Osbourne
Jack Osbourne has told how his dad Ozzy Osbourne was a "picky eater". The 39-year-old star has yet to publicly comment on the passing of the Black Sabbath frontman - who died last month aged 76 - but in an appearance on UK TV show Cooking with the Stars which aired on Sunday (03.08.25) but was filmed prior to the Paranoid rocker's passing, Jack spoke about mealtimes when he was young. He said: "I grew up on potato waffles until we moved to America. "We would get take out all the time — apart from times when we had a chef." Jack - who was 11 when the family left England for the US - joked Ozzy never kept any chef on staff for too long because he was a "picky eater". He added: "[He'd suddenly decide] 'No, I don't like it anymore,' even though it's some amazing chef." While Jack hasn't yet spoken about Ozzy's death, his ex-wife Lisa Stelly - the mother of his daughters Pearl, 13, Andie, 10, and seven-year-old Minnie - recently took to Instagram to share some photos of the rocker with his granddaughters over the years. She captioned her post: "The world got Ozzy. We got Papa. One of one. Larger than life. It hurts to say goodbye, but what a gift it was to have him. We will never stop missing you." Jack also has three-year-old daughter Maple with wife Aree Gearhart. His sister, Kelly Osbourne, recently broke her silence on Instagram, poignantly sharing the lyrics from Black Sabbath's song Changes, which she and her dad released a version of in 2003. She wrote: "I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had [broken heart emoji]. (sic)" At Ozzy's public funeral procession last week, both Jack and Kelly shared subtle tributes to their dad. Kelly honoured Ozzy's distinct sense of style with a pair of round blue-tinted glasses and her brother wore a black Chrome Hearts tie with a silver cross embellishment in a nod to his dad's fondness for cross jewellery. And their sister Aimee Osbourne, who typically stays out of the spotlight, referenced Ozzy's notorious bat-biting incident from 1982 by wearing a brooch in the shape of the winged mammal. Their mother, Sharon Osbourne, leant over to place a pink rose down and what appeared to be Ozzy's wedding ring could be seen dangling from a long chain around her neck.

Ozzy Osbourne's family honoured him with subtle tributes
Ozzy Osbourne's family honoured the late star with subtle tributes during his funeral procession. The late music legend made his final trip through his home city of Birmingham on Wednesday (30.07.25) as fans bid farewell to the Black Sabbath frontman - who died on July 22, at the age of 76, just days after playing his final show at Aston Villa's stadium Villa Park on July 5 - and as his distraught wife Sharon and children Kelly, Aimee and Jack viewed flowers left in honour of the rocker, their individual touches to honour Ozzy could be seen. Sharon Osbourne leant over to place a pink rose down and what appeared to be Ozzy's wedding ring could be seen dangling from a long chain around her neck. Meanwhile, Kelly Osbourne honoured Ozzy's distinct sense of style with a pair of round blue-tinted glasses and her brother, Jack Osbourne, wore a black Chrome Hearts tie with a silver cross embellishment in a nod to his dad's fondness for cross jewellery. And Aimee Osbourne, who typically stays out of the spotlight, referenced Ozzy's notorious bat-biting incident from 1982 by wearing a brooch in the shape of the winged mammal. A purple floral cross adorned the top of the funeral car, which started its journey at the football ground, and red roses were thrown onto the vehicle. The Bostin' Brass band stood to the front of the car playing Black Sabbath and Ozzy classics. Huge crowds lined the streets and led chants of 'Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, Oi, Oi, Oi!'. Fans also broke into song as they waited for the hearse to arrive. Moments before the procession began just after 1pm BST, Birmingham's Mayor Zafar Iqbal was seen reading the many tributes laid out amongst the flowers and black heart balloons at Black Sabbath Bridge on Broad Street. He also spoke with some of the fans who lined the streets to say goodbye to the Prince of Darkness. Sharon was struggling to compose herself, shaking as she held onto her daughter Kelly's hand as she poured her heart out. Upon hearing the crowd cheer, she threw up peace signs. The trip also included a stop at Ozzy's childhood home, Lodge Road, Aston, at around 12.45pm. The family, including Ozzy's son Louis from his previous marriage, then attended a private funeral service for the rocker. Ozzy's passing was confirmed in a family statement, which read: It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."

Awesome Neil Young caps a blisteringly hot day at Hyde Park
***** True to his belief that it's better to burn out than fade away, Neil Young broke Hyde Park's strict curfew on Friday night. The sound was shut off by the venue, which meant that though the band could be seen playing the closing moments of Rocking' in the Free World on the giant screens that bookend the Great Oak stage, not a note could be heard. This was a genuine powerhouse of a set by Young. Backed by the Chrome Hearts - Micah Nelson on guitar and vocals, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, Anthony LoGerfo on drums and Spooner Oldham on Farfisa organ - he delivered a two-hour-long set that fused classic songs with newer material. Perhaps characteristically, he opted not to play anything from the band's recently-released studio album, Talkin' to the Trees. He opened with Ambulance Blues, a rarely-heard song from his 1974 album, On the Beach. Its caustic line, originally written about Richard Nixon - 'I never knew a man who could tell so many lies' - had relevance in 2025, given Young's loathing of Donald Trump. Young had previously pledged that his run of shows would shape a 'summer of democracy'. He strapped on his electric guitar for a lengthy, bewitching Cowgirl in the Sand, from his 1969 debut, his guitar lines weaving hypnotically with those of Nelson. Later songs ranged from Cinnamon Girl to a reliably rowdy F——— Up (prefaced by Young telling the audience, 'Sometimes we do things wrong, sometimes we do things right'). Southern Man was followed by Young, solo and acoustic, on Needle and the Damage Done, which Randy Newman, no less, has described as the Canadian's finest hour. Harvest Moon and the plaintive After the Goldrush were audience singalongs, Young underlining his green credentials by updating a line in the latter so that it became 'Look at Mother Nature on the run/in the twenty-first century' from the original's 'nineteen seventies'. Not for nothing does the current tour go under the banner of 'Love Earth'. Be the Rain sees Young complaining bitterly that 'corporate greed and chemicals are killing the land'. His passion, his willingness to speak out, remain undimmed. Long may he run. Throughout the set, it was on electrifying numbers such as Love to Burn, When You Dance, Hey Hey My My, Name of Love, Throw Your Hatred Down and Rockin' in the Free World that Young, Nelson and McCormick, clustered together in front of LoGerfo, achieve an intensity that recalled Young's old band, Crazy Horse, at its most compelling. The sledgehammer power of Rockin' in the Free World, its repeated false endings and Young's unmistakable lead-guitar work capped a punishingly hot afternoon at Hyde Park that also featured Van Morrison, the highlight of whose own set was an awesome Summertime in England, and a buoyant Yusuf/Cat Stevens, who played his song The Little Ones, originally written in response to the 1995 Srebrenica massacre, in support of Palestine. Among the other support acts were Amble, a contemporary folk band from Ireland, who went down particularly well.
