ghd's new curling tools promise all-day hold with a 'shiny, smooth finish'
ghd is a well-known name for its top-notch hair tools, and now it's elevating curls to new heights. Following the viral success of its Chronos straightener, the brand has unveiled the Chronos Curve range: a fresh lineup of four curling tools designed to create enduring waves and ringlets that remain bouncy from dawn till dusk. The collection comprises two curling wands and two tongs, each crafted with ghd's signature heat technology and ceramic barrels designed to yield shiny, frizz-free curls. All of these are priced at £189, which aligns with ghd's premium pricing, but if you're familiar with the brand, you'll know that the tools often live up to the hype. The Max Wand features a large barrel designed for longer hair and loose curls, while the Classic Tong promises sleek, defined waves. Meanwhile, the Grand Tong seemed capable of producing voluminous ringlets that bounce with every step. The Conical Wand, the most versatile of the four, is designed to create more relaxed, natural curls. I gave the Conical a go when it first launched, and I was genuinely impressed. It took me roughly 10 to 15 minutes to style my entire head, which is efficient by my standards. The wand was easy to manoeuvre and lightweight enough that my arms weren't tired halfway through, reports the Mirror. The curls impressively maintained their shape with minimal hairspray, turning slightly softer yet remaining intact, and my hair stayed sleek and glossy all night. However, styling the shorter front layers proved challenging, so bear this in mind if your haircut is similar. The entire range heats to a steady 185 °C,, which the brand touts as the 'optimum styling temperature' – and indeed, the Conical Wand was spot on for my fine-to-medium hair. However, if you prefer tongs with adjustable settings, Babyliss' Rose Quartz 25mm Curling Tong (£35, Amazon) has six temperature settings, ranging from 160°C to 210°C. Otherwise, the TRESemmé Large Ceramic Curling Tong (£27, Argos) has three settings, with a maximum temperature of 200°C. Other ghd styling instruments have received positive feedback too. A user of the Grand Tong commented: "It slides through my hair to the ends smoothly and doesn't stick or pull at all. I like the fact I can curl right to the tips of my hair, which I struggle to do with the wand." Another individual using the Classic Tong remarked: "The curls lasted all day and still looked great the next day! The tongs were quick to heat up and cool down. It came with a handy glove which helped protect my hand from the heat of the tool." Regrettably, not everyone has had a stellar experience with the Grand Tong. One user lamented: "Unfortunately, the curls didn't hold in my thick, coarse hair-even with prep and setting spray. Although the tong is advertised to give long-lasting curls (up to 24 hours), mine fell out within a few hours, which was disappointing." Another individual who tested the Max Wand left a three-star review that was somewhat ambivalent: "The 38mm barrel was a bit wide for my length of hair, so I ended up with loose waves rather than curls." On the flip side, a glowing testimonial stated: "I have tried various hair curlers in the past, but never one that worked for me. The thick barrel was great for my long hair, creating soft, wavy curls that I loved. Plus, it was really quick."

Universal Orlando Resort's Epic Universe Guide 2025
One thing you absolutely need to know is that I am a self-proclaimed Universal Orlando Resort pro. It does help that I've been to the parks several times over the last couple of the years and have found the best time to ride some of the biggest coasters. But now there's so much to explore with Universal's Epic Universe, the resort's first new park in over 25 years! Epic Universe takes fans across five different lands which features everything from the ultimate world for the Universal Monsters fan to an epic central zone with a must-ride coaster that will definitely bring out your competitive side. We got to be on-site during the park's big opening to experience all the fun and make sure that you know what you should definitely check out and any secrets that you don't want to miss! Yes, that means I rode every ride (some more than once!), tried a bunch of food, and even ran around the park in order to uncover some special surprises! Hey, someone has to do it, and, yes, I even got super emotional hearing "Test Drive" from How to Train Your Dragon in the most unexpected place. So whether you're going with a group or planning a solo trip to the brand new park, we got a list of all the things you need to check out at the park! Here is your ultimate guide to Universal Orlando Resort's Epic Universe! As soon as you walk through the Chronos, the special tower that also serves as the park's main gate, you are welcomed into Celestial Park. While not tied to a specific IP, Celestial Park serves as the main hub that connects all the rest of the lands throughout the park via special portals. But that doesn't mean it's any less special. In fact, you're definitely going to want to run here at night to check out both the Carousel and Stardust Racers, the new dual coaster that rivals fan favorite VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure. Constellation Carousel - A beautiful and stunning carousel that's right in the middle of the park, you're going to want to check this out after sundown if you can! Not only is it beautiful on the inside, but the soundtrack is so fun especially as you go both forwards and backwards! Yep, this is not your typical carousel! Stardust Racers - True Universal Orlando fans will remember the feeling when Dueling Dragons, a dueling coaster, closed down at Islands of Adventure. Now comes Stardust Racers where riders can choose between two different tracks, Green and Yellow, where you get to race against the other side in the hopes of getting there first. Green is known to get you more G-Forces while Yellow has more air time. While you're likely going to want to go to the front, you actually will want to go to the back for a more intense riding experience. If you're going with a group, I recommend splitting up and riding on the separate lines at the same time. A big core memory was seeing my friends go upside down before I did. There is no other feeling like it and made Stardust Racers our favorite ride in the park. Atlantic - If you are like me and you absolutely love seafood, this is a must-go! Not only is the interior absolutely gorgeous, making you feel like you're at an underwater speakeasy, it is also gives you such an amazing view of the park. The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant - You're going to want to immediately look up to check out all the cool signs that make you feel like you're walking into a food market instead of a restaurant. Hit up the bar for a drink and stunning interior, and make sure you order the delicious smashed cucumbers that will be so refreshing or the tonkotsu ramen to heat up! The Oak & Star Tavern - If you're looking for some classic BBQ, then this is the place for you! We highly recommend eating the mac & cheese because it is absolutely scrumptious and also pick up some banana pudding, which we dare say rivals some of our NYC faves. Pizza Moon - All your pizza dreams absolutely come true in Pizza Moon where various flavors and ingredients collide to create some magic. We dare you to be more experimental in your choices here and pair it up with the Celestial Spritz, an exclusive Coca-Cola Freestyle drink that you can check out at the park! Meteor Astropub - If you're looking for a quick meal, this is definitely you're go-to option! Grab the chicken and waffles or one of the many burgers that will definitely fill ya up for the day ahead! Starting from left to right, the first world you can head towards from Celestial Park is none other than Super Nintendo World. An extended version from the ones in Universal Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan, the world is split into two as you can experience Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. Not only is it arguably the most immersive land in the entire park thanks to it high walls and impressive backgrounds, there is also a unique challenge throughout the land if you collect enough keys on your Power-Up band to unlock Bowser Jr.'s Shadow Showdown. Its portal is similar to a Warp Pipe as you take an escalator to head up to the second floor of the world. There is also a wheelchair accessible entrance that does not lose any of the magic which makes us wanna give a 1-Up to the design team who truly thought of everything. Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge - Similar to Villain-Con Minion Blast or Men in Black: Alien Attack over at Universal Orlando, this is a game where you aim and the points you rack up matter! Riders put on special visors that uses AR to show friends and enemies as you race down a track. Attack Team Bowser members with Koopa Shells and rack up points. While the premise is exciting, the visor is not super ideal if you have to wear glasses and the ride's speed is super slow compared to how fast you usually have to go to win at Mario Kart. Still, at least it's fun seeing your favorite characters race down the track with you! Mine-Cart Madness - Located at Donkey Kong Country, you're not going to want to close your eyes on this coaster thanks to its optical illusion design that makes it seem like you're going off-track. It's not as intense as Stardust Racers, which means those who prefer smaller coasters will have no problem enjoying the fun! Yoshi's Adventure - A very short, sweet, and slow ride for those who are bringing in young ones to the park or are looking to see Yoshi's out in the wild. It's definitely the most kid-friendly ride throughout the park, although, I found it surprising the number of stairs that were in the middle of the line for a ride that is targeted as such. Still, it was a cute and fun time that definitely gives you the best view of the land and all it has to offer! Toadstool Cafe - Let me tell you that I am absolutely obsessed with this place! I've gotten to go to the Kirby Café over in Japan and this is the closest experience in the states. You can easily grab a bite to eat here with burgers topped with Luigi and Mario hats, but what you really wanna grab is the Instagram-worthy Princess Peach's Cake. The Bubbly Barrel - Located in Donkey Kong Country, this had the longest line I had ever seen throughout my entire trip. There's only one thing on the menu: the DK Crush Float, which can also come with a special DK mug for an extra cost. Enjoy a banana pineapple soft serve float with pineapple soda, a waffle bowl, sprinkles, toffee pieces and caramel popcorn. After just one sip, we understood why it got DK's stamp of approval! Admittedly, this was the land I was looking forward to the most as I waited for the park to open. I've gotten the chance to enjoy Halloween Horror Nights for several years now and it has become one of the best parts of visiting the parks, but this expands the Universal Monsters universe with a land that honestly should've existed several years ago. You are immediately greeted by the stunning Frankenstein Manor as you walk into Darkmoor. Don't forget to say hi to Ygor, who can be found walking around the park and has become an instant fan-favorite! Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment - Dr. Victoria Frankenstein is welcoming us into her castle as she shows us how much she's willing to go to take down Count Dracula. This special dark ride is similar to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in Islands of Adventure and features impressive animatronics, one of the most impressive queues in the entire park, and will leave you absolutely screaming (for joy)! Curse of the Werewolf - Just like Mine-Cart Madness, this ride is perfect for smaller coaster lovers who aren't looking for anything too intense. The ride does use a spinning cart, which can be a no-go for some riders, but makes it an unexpected experience every single time. Unfortunately, it's a little too short compared to other coasters around the park, but that doesn't mean it's not a howling good time! Das Stakehaus - It's your ultimate Dracula fantasy as you step into this restaurant that looks like a dungeon mixed with some beautiful paintings featuring our favorite undead characters. Just like in the name, you definitely should get the Carved Staked Steak which is absolutely to die for. Make sure to also get a taste of the Screaming Berry exclusive flavor at the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. The Burning Blade Tavern - Pop in for a quick drink including the absolutely refreshing Monocane Mocktail that you can also get served in a souvenir beaker that will make Ygor proud! Sip it outside as you watch the windmill, well, we won't spoil it for you! It would be hard to not talk about this without mentioning the J.K. Rowling of it all, but it is a part of Epic Universe! The new addition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was originally inspired by the Fantastic Beasts franchise and 1920s Paris, but features a ride that takes place in 1990s yeah, is confusing to us too. While the Paris recreation is pretty immersive, there's very little to do here compared to the other parts of the park. It's surprisingly slim for what should be a big IP, but does manage to offer a fun experience if you're willing to buy a wand. Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry - The ride changes things up from other dark movement rides by using an elevator-themed car instead of the usual seating that moves around in an arm. Riders sit down in an "elevator" and witness Dolores Umbridge as she tries to escape her arrest before her trial. The queue is the biggest in the entire park and you can tell how much went into it. Fans walk through the Floo system to reach the ministry in the 1990s (although it does not allow for time travel, but, whatever...). It's surprising that there's not more to do as you first walk in because the area is absolutely huge before you walk through the Minstry to ride, which also includes a replica of Umbridge's office from the films. After buckling in, the ride mostly uses screens and projections to show the events of Umbridge's escape. It is a beautiful ride especially towards one of the biggest moments that seems like you're traveling through time. The final animatronics do leave something to be desired, especially compared to the ones in Monsters Unchained. I will note, if there is a long wait, come back. While the wait time has improved, there are so many other incredible rides in the park that can help you fill the time as it goes down! Café L'air De La Sirène - If you're looking for the true Paris experience, stop by the café for some butterbeer crêpes and sit outside to look at the crowd passing by! Last, but certainly not least, is Isle of Berk. Ironically, it was the first land I checked out during my visit, but it is located on the right side of Celestial Park. It is the largest themed land and will honestly make you emotional as soon as you walk in if you're a huge fan of the How to Train You Dragon films. Channel your inner viking with Viking Training Camp or check out a special stage show that feature flying dragons. Oh, and don't forget to stop by for your meet and greet with Toothless! Dragon Racer's Rally - While it's just fun to just glide around like a dragon, the real question is: how many spins can you do? Like that iconic TikTok video, you're going to want to swing your seat side-to-side as the ride starts in the hopes to get yourself upside down as you ride through the sky. It's a fun challenge, but also a memorable experience! Hiccup's Wing Gliders - Another fun and not-too-intense coaster. It does start with a launch, much like Hagrid's and is a unforgettable time as you see and hear Hiccup chat with you along the ride. But the best part is the music which also features "Test Flight". Yes, I absolutely cried and you definitely will too! Can easily say that it's one of the biggest highlights of Epic Universe! Fyre Drill - For water ride lovers, here's your chance to get absolutely soaked as you ride a boat and try to aim at some targets. Tip: There are dryers nearby if you don't like to walk around with wet clothes or you can also wear a poncho! Mead Hall - Eat like a viking at this Mead Hall with tons of meats and eats that are definitely perfect to share. The salmon is absolutely delicious and don't forget to try out their different beer options including a Dragons' Milk or enjoy Gobber's Mead. The Coca-Cola Freestyle machine features the Dragon Splash! Hooligan's Grog & Gruel - We're saving the best for last as you absolutely need to run to Hooligan's for their mac & cheese cones. The classic option includes fish-shaped crackers on top and it is the perfect combo that you'll want to try at home!

The new ghd curling range provides 'all-day hold' and leaves hair 'shiny and smooth'
The Chronos Curve collections claims to create frizz-free curls up to three times faster than other models ghd is a household name for its salon-quality hair tools, and now it's taking curls to the next level. Hot on the heels of the viral success of its Chronos straightener, the brand has launched the Chronos Curve range: a new lineup of four curling tools designed to create long-lasting waves and ringlets that stay bouncy from morning to night. The collection includes two curling wands and two tongs, each engineered with ghd's signature heat technology and ceramic barrels designed to deliver shiny, frizz-free curls. All of these are priced at £189, which is consistent with ghd's high-end pricing, but if you're acquainted with the brand, you'll know that the tools often justify the hype. The Max Wand comes with a large barrel designed for longer hair and loose curls, while the Classic Tong promises polished, defined waves. Meanwhile, the Grand Tong appeared capable of producing voluminous ringlets that bounce with every stride. The Conical Wand, the most adaptable of the four, is designed to create more relaxed, natural curls. I tried the Conical when it first launched, and I was seriously impressed. It took me around 10 to 15 minutes to style my whole head, which is efficient by my standards. The wand was easy to handle and lightweight enough that my arms weren't aching halfway through. Shop the range £189 ghd Buy Now on ghd Product Description The curls also held impressively well without much hairspray - slightly softer but still there - and my hair looked smooth and shiny throughout the evening. However, I found it difficult to style the shorter front layers, so it's worth noting if you have a similar style. The range all operates at a consistent 185°C, which the brand calls the 'optimum styling temperature' - and in fairness, the Conical Wand worked perfectly for my fine-to-medium hair. As for the other ghd tools, they've also had some great reviews. On the Grand Tong, this person wrote: "It slides through my hair to the ends smoothly and doesn't stick or pull at all. I like the fact I can curl right to the tips of my hair, which I struggle to do with the wand." Meanwhile, a Classic Tong user said: "The curls lasted all day & still looked great the next day! The tongs were quick to heat up and cool down. It came with a handy glove which helped protect my hand from the heat of the tool." Unfortunately, it isn't all good news. A person who used the Grand Tong said: "Unfortunately, the curls didn't hold in my thick, coarse hair—even with prep and setting spray. Although the tong is advertised to give long-lasting curls (up to 24 hours), mine fell out within a few hours, which was disappointing." And someone who tried the Max Wand gave a mixed three-star review: "The 38mm barrel was a bit wide for my length of hair, so I ended up with loose waves rather than curls." But a positive review reads: "I have tried various hair curlers in the past, but never one that worked for me. The thick barrel was great for my long hair, creating soft, wavy curls that I loved. Plus, it was really quick. "In less than 30 minutes, I had completed the style from start to finish, and it would usually take me a couple of hours."

ghd chronos curve review on different hair types and lengths
Don't fret – we put ghd's new curling wands and tongs to the test on four different hair types and lengths. These products are hand-picked by our team to help make shopping easier. We may receive payments from third parties for sharing this content and when you purchase through links in this article. Product prices and offer details are not assured, and should be confirmed independently with the retailer. Learn more When it comes to hardworking hair tools, ghd is always top of mind. Globally renowned for being the experts in hair styling – from straighteners to curling wands, tongs, and blow dryers - the iconic brand is now launching its latest innovation: the chronos curve curlers range. This new collection features four brand new professional-grade wands and tongs, all powered by ghd's advanced Chronos technology. The result? Three times faster results for easy, frizz-free curls that last all day. Each tool maintains the optimum temperature of 185 degrees Celsius across the whole barrel, helping to reduce extreme heat damage while also increasing shine. The checkout team - all with different hair types and lengths - put the new ghd chronos curve range to the test. And the verdict? 'Amazing'. The range of curling wands and tongs have quickly become our 'new favourite', and thankfully our 'flat hair days are over'. ghd chronos curve max wand (38mm barrel), $320 at ghd Creates: Loose waves Best for: Medium to long hair Marina's hair type: Long and thick, frizzy texture, struggles to hold a curl Tried and Tested by Marina Tatas, Senior Shopping Writer Being obsessed with all things beauty, I've always been drawn to make up and skincare but when it comes to my hair, things take a back seat. Especially when it comes to curling my hair, it's something I've always struggled with – so much so that I only learnt how to properly curl my hair with a straightener last year. In fact it was with the ghd chronos hair straightener I was lucky enough to review last year. Now I got the chance to review the new chronos curve max wand, and this is designed with ghd's largest barrel yet – 38mm – and OMG, it's quickly become my new favourite! Because of the massive barrel, this hair tool offers big, bouncy curls that are actually easy to create. Something that really impressed me is the way it makes you hair look and feel, and that's thanks to ghd's chronos technology. This really helps to control my naturally frizzy hair, making it look more smooth and shiny – and who doesn't want that? Other notable features include an automatic sleep mode after 20 minutes, a heat-protestant glove which is super handy, cool tip, built-in safety stand and an extra long cable for effortless styling. And because my hair really struggles to hold a curl, I've also been using it with ghd's new Curly Ever After Hold Spray – and this is an absolute game changer. Best for: All hair lengths Claudia's hair type: Dense with super fine strands, naturally wavy/frizzy texture Tried and Tested by Claudia Coy, Social Media Producer When Kylie Jenner's hair stylist recently dropped the bombshell about mixing different tong sizes for that coveted 'I woke up like this' hair, I suddenly became obsessed with finding the perfect small-barrel curler. Cue the ghd chronos curve. I have naturally wavy/frizzy hair and while I have a lot of it, it's also super fine – which means it knots instantly, especially with curls. So while I love the look of effortlessly tousled hair, I'll usually just blow dry it straight and run a flat iron through it to keep it under control. My first impression? The chronos classic tong glides through your hair like silk – no yanking, no sacrificial hair strands left behind in the clamp (we've all been there, right?). Better yet, the curls not only lasted the whole day, they even survived the pillow test and were salvageable for day two. My favourite feature has to be the 20-minute sleep mode, which will automatically turn your curler off when it's not in use. Creates: Beach curls Kara's hair type: Lots of fine hair that's naturally straight Tried and Tested by Kara Byers, eCommerce Content Lead My hair is bolt straight. It'll hold a curl when it's not too clean and with a generous amount of hairspray, but most of the time I can't master a bend or wave with my iron. It takes ages and the right side is always wrong. I've got a side part (sorry, Gen Z), so there's less hair on one side – maybe that's the issue? Cue my excitement to try something that could finally give this flat-as-a-pancake barnet some shape. I'm a ghd fan. My straighteners have lasted nearly 20 years and I love the last product I tested – Duet Blowdry Hair Dryer Brush – I find the brand's tools are always reliable and easy to use. This time, I tried the new ghd chronos curve conical wand (28–23mm barrel), which promises 'fast curling for high-definition beach curls that last 24 hours'. It heats up fast, feels light in hand and comes with a heat-resistant glove to save your fingers from its 185 degrees Celsius heat. With this wand, both sides of my hair curled easily and the conical shape grabbed shorter strands. The glove? A game-changer – I felt the tool's warmth as a warning, without the burn. I also found holding each curl for a few seconds before releasing made them last longer. I need more practice and a bit more length for full waves, but my hair finally has some bend. For me, that's a win and maybe a sign my flat hair days are over. Best for: Medium-longer hair lengths Susannah's hair type: Long and thick with a natural, frizzy wave Tried and Tested by Susannah Hardy, Partnerships Writer I have long and very thick hair with a natural wave, but if I don't style it properly it looks like a mess. Plus, living in humid Sydney, it gets frizzy in a matter of seconds. I've tried all sorts of ways to create luscious curls but as a busy working mum, there's little time for elaborate hair routines. Plus my hair is quite dry so I'm always careful not to overdo the heat factor. So when I got the chance to test out the new ghd chronos curve grand tong, I was super excited. Could this be the answer to well defined, non frizzy waves? After a month of trialling, I can safely say it is. I have tested the curler in a variety of ways but found the best time to use it is after I've washed and dried my hair. Normally at this point, my hair looks fairly straight and dull so in desperate need of some texture and movement. I find the ghd chronos curve grand tong extremely functional and easy to use. It heats up almost instantly and is so comfortable to hold. It doesn't take long to turn a lifeless lock into a bouncy curl, and it certainly doesn't feel like my hair is overheating. Usually with a curler or straightener, I see smoke rising from my hair, but not with his one. I also find the curls stay in place longer than those created by other curlers I've tried. Even so, with my thick hair, I find a touch of hair spray or finishing spray gives that extra bit of hold. And I love that if you forget to turn it off (like I always do) it has an auto sleep mode after 20 minutes. The ghd chronos curve grand tong doesn't just make curls either. It allows you to create clearly defined waves which is probably what I like best. If I'm short on time, I can quickly give my hair some oomf before I run out the door to work or head out for the night. I can spruce up the top layers and the ones around my face, and it helps keep the frizz at bay and make my hair look a little more styled. Overall I have been thrilled with this hair tool. To be honest I didn't think I'd be able to achieve results, nor did I expect it to be so versatile. You can make your hair super curly, you can simply inject some waves, or even just smooth it over. Amazing! HOW TO DECIDE WHICH GHD CHRONOS CURLER IS RIGHT FOR YOU? So you've read our team's review but are still feeling stuck on what curler will work best for your hair length and type? It also comes down to what kind of curls you want to achieve – maybe you prefer tight curlers or something a little looser. Thankfully, ghd have thought of everything and brilliantly created a quiz of six questions to help you find the answer – plus, it takes just under a minute to complete. 'Amazon £39 Prime Day hair tool rivals my £289 straighteners'
Faszin's best-selling Hair Straighteners are currently reduced to £39.99 from £129.99 in the Amazon sale A good pair of hair straighteners can easily set shoppers back by over £250 - just consider the prices of top-tier models from ghd and Dyson. So when a genuinely impressive tool drops to under £40, it's worth shouting about. The Faszin Hair Straightener is currently reduced to £39.99 from £119.98 in Amazon's Prime Day sale, saving shoppers £90. Having tested the tool myself, I can confirm that this deal is a total steal. Now, I've been a loyal fan of my GHD Chronos straighteners for some time. They consistently deliver salon-sleek results, and I've always considered them worth the high £289 price tag. So, I was genuinely curious to see how the noticeably more affordable Faszin's would stack up. Pretty well, it turns out. These straighteners transformed my hair from unruly and fluffy to sleek and polished in under five minutes. As someone with naturally wavy, fine-to-medium hair, I was seriously impressed by how quickly and efficiently I could style my entire head with minimal effort and no aching arms. The extra-wide 42mm plates are a game-changer, allowing me to glide through larger sections of hair in a single pass. Plus, they heat up fast, reaching 180°C in 20 seconds. Shop the sale Product Description There are 11 temperatures in total (ranging from 130°C to 230°C), so I could easily customise the heat depending on my styling needs. The LCD display is another thoughtful touch, counting down how long is left until the chosen heat level is reached - a small detail, but it makes the process seem seamless. That's one area where they differ from the Chronos, which heat to an optimum 185°C and don't offer adjustable settings. While that temp still works brilliantly for my hair, it's definitely a bonus to have the option to go higher or lower depending on what I'm doing. Another hair tool that allows you to alter the temperature is Cloud Nine's The Touch Iron (£189), which has two heat settings: 165°C to 195°C. Otherwise, Remington's Shine Therapy Hair Straightener (£23, down from £79) features a digital temperature display with nine settings ranging from 150°C to 230°C. In terms of ease of use, the Faszin straighteners are lightweight and come with a 360 swivel cord, so I didn't have to deal with frustrating wire tangles mid-style. I also loved the styling clips included in the box; they helped me section off hair neatly, so I could straighten each layer without constantly flicking pieces out of the way. Once I was done, I used the lock feature to clamp the plates shut. Not only does this make storing them easier, but it also reduces the risk of burns after use. Honestly, I don't have any complaints about these straighteners. That being said, a couple of Amazon reviewers noted that they didn't last more than six months, and I've only had mine for a few weeks, so only time will tell how true that is. That said, for £39.99, they're an absolute bargain and have firmly earned a place in my beauty routine. They're available to shop via Amazon, but be quick if tempted, as the Prime Day sale ends on Friday (11th July).
