KUALA LUMPUR: The daughter of well-known entrepreneur, Datuk Seri Vida, Cik B has refuted claims that her recent birthday party took place at a club and served alcohol to guests. In a recent interview with a TV3 Melodi reporter, Cik B, whose full name is Nur Edlynn Zamileen Muhammad Amin, stressed that her 20th birthday celebration was held at a private residence and no alcohol was served. "Astaghfirullah, I have never consumed any alcohol. What was alleged about the party is not true," Cik B explained in the YouTube video uploaded by the entertainment show. "And when I sent out the invitations, I already made it clear that there would be no alcohol at the party." However, Cik B also apologised to anyone offended by the party, where men and women mingled freely, which is contrary to what practising Muslims are expected to observe. "For that, I apologise, as I'm not perfect."

KUALA LUMPUR: A recent TikTok post by rapper and social media personality Nur Edlynn Zamileen Muhammad Amin, also known as Cik B, has garnered significant attention, with many followers expressing surprise at her fluency in Mandarin. The 19-year-old daughter of entrepreneur Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman (Datuk Vida) was reportedly on a shopping trip in China when she was filmed speaking Mandarin to a sales assistant. In the video, she inquires about the colours and sizes of clothing. "It's great shopping here. All of these are originals, not imitation goods," she was heard saying in the video. The post has since accumulated over 360,000 views and 15,000 likes. The comment section reveals many fans were unaware of Cik B's linguistic abilities. "Oh, she's multilingual, just like her mother," one follower commented. Another expressed amazement, noting that Cik B had not previously showcased her Mandarin skills, leading some to question why she hadn't followed in her mother's footsteps in learning the language. This brief video has now revealed Cik B to be quite the polyglot.
