Share 'We're incredibly proud to partner with the City of Milpitas to bring more choices and possibilities for first-time buyers who are looking to put down roots,' said Natasha Zabaneh, President of City Ventures. 'This opportunity is a reflection of our commitment to create strong, inclusive communities––not just in Milpitas, but throughout California.' The BMR program at Pinnacle features its popular Plan One and Plan Two designs, both offering brand-new, all-electric construction, owned solar panels, Nest thermostats, Ring doorbells, keyless entry, energy-efficient appliances. Plan Two BMR homes are sold out. The housing market in popular Milpitas remains extremely competitive. Other room options include home offices, dining room, lofts and breakfast nooks. Just two homes remain for sale at Skyridge, the luxury residences collection within the same gated community of Joshua Ranch. Set high in the hills with sweeping views of the beautiful Antelope Valley, buyers can choose from two floor plans, ranging from approximately 3,566 to 4,424 square feet and including four to five bedrooms and up to four-and-a-half baths. Inside, home offices, downstairs bedroom suites, decks and butler's pantries are just some of the desirable details. Generous lot sizes ensure plenty of outdoor space, allowing buyers to create their own personal resort with a swimming pool, spa or putting green along with room to store an RV or a boat. The coveted outdoor California room, with an optional fireplace, is a feature in every home at Skyridge. 'With abundant space offering versatile lofts, flex spaces and additional bedrooms including downstairs suites, homes at both Skyridge and Saddlewood are ideal for growing families, multi-generational households, and really everyone in between,' said Natasha Zabaneh, President of City Ventures. 'Our buyers are able to easily create those spaces that fit their unique needs, whether it's a craft room, office, nursery, fitness room or something else.' Prices for these two remaining homes at Skyridge start from $869,990, with generous sales incentives available for buyers who are eager to enjoy their new homes in time for summer. In addition, City Ventures continues to offer appreciation gifts for military and civil Hometown Heroes, while current owners of its homes can benefit from its referral and repeat buyer programs. For buyers already working with a real estate agent, City Ventures recognizes the importance of the brokerage community by offering sales commissions as long as agents accompany their clients on their first visit to the sales office and model complex. According to an April survey by the National Association of Home Builders, 60% of builders reported that their suppliers have already increased or announced increases of material prices averaging 6.3% due to tariffs and policy uncertainty, adding an estimated $10,900 to the average home. For homes larger than the national average of about 2,500 square feet, the additional costs would likely be higher. 'This is a limited opportunity to live in such exceptionally beautiful and spacious homes in the Palmdale hills, which are close enough to shopping and entertainment options and employment centers but also provide privacy and sanctuary,' said Zabaneh. 'With very low levels of supply for existing single-family homes in Palmdale, now could be a great time to avoid bidding wars for a resale home and live in a truly one-of-a-kind place before surging costs for imported goods used in construction could lead to higher prices for new homes.' Be sure to join in the grand celebrations and tour the brand new model homes at Saddlewood this weekend, on Saturday July 19, 2025 from 11 am to 5pm. Saddlewood is located at 39419 Saddle Dr., Palmdale CA 93551. Neighbors at odds over proposed Claremont housing development
A group of neighbors are at odds over the proposed housing development that may soon replace some old tennis courts in Claremont in coming months. The development, which is called the City Ventures Indian Hill Project, would bring 70 three-story high townhomes to the small parcel of land located on W. American Avenue and Indian Hill Boulevard. The latter eventually feeds onto the always busy 10 Freeway. Neighbors are concerned that the area, which already sees a lot of traffic, will become even more crowded. They're hoping that city leaders are able to either reject the proposal during a meeting Tuesday, or provide some further clarity on the matter. "I'm not completely opposed to this," said Darvin Gomez. "We just want something that's reasonable and that fits ... that respects our neighborhood." He's one of the many that gathered to speak up during the meeting on Tuesday. An artist's rendering of the proposed housing development. City of Claremont According to Claremont's city website and renderings provided by the developer, each of the new units would come with two-car garages and 11 guest spaces. The entire neighborhood however, would have just one entrance from W. American Avenue. "It's safety. Because this area is really, really bad for traffic, really bad where you can't move as is," said Bryan Trunik, another neighbor. "Then, they wanna put 70 more units in right here on the corner and only have one entrance in and out." The entire debacle isn't just a Claremont issue either, as Pomona residents have also joined the opposition to the development, as their city is located on the other side of the street. "We're a community of Claremont and Pomona. We do not want to see this happen," said Alice Gomez. The Los Angeles County Fire Department has already approved one entrance design, which Claremont acknowledges is a congested area with growing commercial space. Their studies, however, show that the number of units won't significantly impact the flow of traffic, something that neighbors highly disagree with. "We're already having issues with parking already," said Pomona City Council member Elizabeth Ontiveros-Cole. "That's my concern." Claremont council members will vote on the development on Tuesday night.
