Branson completes Phase 1A of Downtown Streetscape Project
BRANSON, Mo. — The City of Branson has announced the completion of Phase 1A of the Downtown Streetscape Project. According to a City of Branson Government social media post, crews have completed the first part of the Downtown Streetscape Project on the intersection of Main Street and Commercial Street in Branson. The intersection of the two streets has opened after the completion of the first phase, the post says. Branson's Downtown Streetscape Project to make welcoming city center The City of Branson says on its website that they are continuing to work on Veterans Boulevard to complete the remaining concrete work and finalize details for Phase 1. Branson's Downtown Streetscape Project to make welcoming city center
BRANSON, Mo. — The City of Branson is making great progress in their Downtown Streetscape Project. The city reports that the project's goal is to make a welcoming and walkable city center in downtown Branson. The City of Branson Government said in a social media post, that crews completed the base rock and are now working on new retaining walls and seat walls that will make it more safe and accessible in downtown. On Monday, May 12, crews will begin a coordinated day and night phase of removing existing sidewalks and installing the foundations for new light poles. Road closure in Downtown Branson begins The city said that temporary gravel pathways with protective mats will be in place for businesses to still be in operation during this project.
