Dreamy Spa And Dream-Filled Sleep At New Hyatt Mazatlán All-Inclusive

Looking for a relaxation vacation? World of Hyatt's new Mazatlán resort has a dreamy destination spa, an almost endless beach, and serene rooms made for decompressing complete with real-life wave sounds. Open just since April 2024, Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort is part of Hyatt's Inclusive Collection. Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort Dreams Spa's main relaxation room. The spa at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán is not your ordinary hotel spa. In-the-know residents of the Mazatlán area also come here for the expertise and incredible range of services too. Called Dreams Spa, the space was designed by HKS Architects, a firm known for working collaboratively with clients and their communities and for creating buildings that both perform and inspire. Hydrotherapy, Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort. Dreams Spa's immense size isn't immediately apparent but you'll want to plan your visit with plenty of time for relaxing in its indoor and outdoor spaces (especially in the round, purple-hued relaxation room with its trickling water globe at its center). Of course, you'll find all the standards at Dreams Spa—hot stone massage, mani-pedis, facials and exfoliations—though performed with exceptional skill, remarkable care and with high-end products like those from Pevonia Natural Skincare. You could choose, for example, to have a customized experience in the Spa Pantry using products made from herbs, flowers and seeds or hang out in the Revive Bar sipping cold-pressed juice shots and kombucha. Dreams Spa also has experiences like a hydrotherapy circuit where, bracketed by a sauna and cold plunge, you soak in a pool with views of the golf course while positioning your pressure points under waterfalls and near water jets. Dreams Spa's Festival Suite. When selecting your services, note that since the spa and hotel are just a year old, not everything offered is yet listed in the spa menu. If you're looking for something specific, ask. Spa Manager Claudia Perez and her team are extremely knowledgeable and will have the ideal recommendations to address whatever ails you. The spa at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán has special treatments that are normally difficult to find. It's unusual for a hotel spa to offer such an expansive range of services, they're often restricted to far flung speciality resorts like Velaa Private Island's Eveylaa Wellbeing Village in the Maldives. Double massage room at Dreams Spa, Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort An example of an unusual treatment is Dream Spa's Bright Light Therapy. After looking into a specialized light box for about 30 seconds, you put your eyes in complete darkness via a sleep mask. Each person sees a different combination of extremely vivid colors that pulse and flow over time (perhaps you'll have a hint of olo, the newly-discovered color announced in April 2025?). The treatment is purported to boost energy, improve mood and help with sleep regulation—surely wonderful dreams are in store after you give it a try. Olive oil soap foam in a Turkish bath. Dream Spa also offers a traditional Turkish hammam. While more and more hotels are promoting hammams as part of their spas, most are disappointingly simply steam rooms perhaps providing coarse salt for a do-it-yourself scrub. A traditional Turkish hammam is one of the best spa treatments for stressed-out people—here's what to expect. In Türkiye, it's easy to spot tourists who are freshly out of the hammam with their blissed out expressions and shiny new skin revealed after the vigorous exfoliation. The full experience is hard to find outside of Türkiye (though Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada has one hotel with it) but if you've had a Turkish hammam once you'll wish you could make it part of your regular routine. The ritual mostly takes place with you lying atop a heated stone platform in a steam room. A specially-trained attendant rinses you with bowls of water, gives you a thorough scrub (called gommage) with an exfoliating keșe cloth, washes you with a mountain of foamy bubbles from olive oil soap, and then gives you a massage that includes Thai-type stretching and deep tissue relief. You'll want a nap afterward. Pinda massage with herbal compresses. Another hard-to-find treatment available at Dreams Spa is the Ayurvedic pinda swena massage. A pinda is a cotton- or linen-wrapped bundle of aromatic herbs (often catered to the condition the client wants to address) and a heat-holding substance such as uncooked rice. Sweda refers to perspiration. The therapist heats the pinda and uses it in combination with their hands to perform a massage that helps melt away knots—think of it as an even better hot stone massage. Guests of Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán's Preferred Club receive a 30 percent discount for services at Dreams Spa. If you choose the master suite preferred category or the presidential suite, one of the many additional inclusions is free hydrotherapy access. Sunset Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort There's plenty at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán besides the spa to aid in your relaxation. Walk on the long beach in either direction (the beach's northwest end is a three-hour walk one way). At low tide, you have a good chance of spotting star fish—estrella del mar—on the golden sand. Gaze at the waves (watch for dolphins and humpbacks too) from the beach and pool or find better sun protection at the Rendezvous lobby bar or the Preferred Club lounge. At Barracuda Beach Bar, choose a hammock seat to swing while you sip your cocktail. The hotel has beach chairs surrounding the pools (a few are even within the pools)—the quiet adults-only pool is the most tranquil though the lazy river also appeals. Or, choose a lounge chair on the beach if you like to be close to the waves. Note the ocean is too rough for swimming though. Swim-up bar Manatees at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán. If you want to stay out of the sun, grab an ice cream from Dolce or a coffee from Coco Café and wander through the hotel to admire the local art. In particular, look for Mazatlán-born painter Antonio López Sáenz's depictions of markets and regional traditions. As the day winds down, Dreams Estrella Del Mar Mazatlán has prime sunset viewing spots. The ultimate is from your balcony soaker tub or from one of the handful of rooms with a swim-up pool. Inside Oceana restaurant at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán. After a spa day, long walks on the beach, meals at the resort's four à la carte restaurants or the World Café buffet, not to mention a few snack stops, you'll be ready for bed. The pounding waves at Dreams Estrella Del Mar Mazatlán provide the perfect soundtrack for a sound sleep—a natural white noise machine. You'll hear them with the sliding door to your balcony closed, but sleeping with it open is even better (except if your visit is during the June-to-October rainy season, when there's a greater chance of mosquitos). Serene rooms at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort. The 358 rooms and suites all have ocean views and a furnished balcony or terrace. They're designed to soothe and relax in taupe and cream and have pops of color to draw the eyes. If you want to focus a distracted mind, closely examine the long framed art in your room that depicts the iconic buildings along Calle Ángel Flores in Mazatlán's historic center. You'll marvel at how the colorful houses are represented simply with wool. An additional relaxation treat available at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán is the perfect no-stress hotel morning. Schedule room service breakfast the night before and staff can deliver it into the cubby hole that they access through the hallway and you access from inside your room. Breakfast in bed on your schedule without staff needing to enter your room—what could be less stressful? With its unique Dreams Spa, a beach that's perfect for walking, and with crashing waves you can hear from bed in your peaceful room, Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort is an ideal choice for those wanting a relaxation-filled vacation in Mexico.
