Amanda Holden ignores critics as she wows in revealing gown for BGT final
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has stunned in her final outfit for the ITV talent competition after vowing to never tone down her fashion choices despite backlash Amanda Holden looked sensational as she stepped out for the live Britain's Got Talent final. The judge, 54, headed out onto the stage with her fellow co-stars Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli. She made sure to pull out all the stops for the grand final of the ITV talent show competition as just one contestant will earn a coveted slot at the Royal Variety Performance. Amanda rocked a revealing white gown Fans rushed to share their love for the outfit as one said, "Amanda looks incredible in that white dress #bgt #BGTFinal." Another tweeted: "Amanda Holden looking stunning for tonight's Britain's Got Talent final." A third said: "Amanda Holden gets better looking with age! #BGT." Amanda has sparked backlash thanks to some of her bold looks on the family-friendly show over the years, even landing herself in hot water with Ofcom. Some fans have called for her to "cover up" but Amanda has vowed to not tone down on her looks. In July 2017, Amanda rocked a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress that became the most complained about TV moment of the year. Amanda joked the furore was a 'national crisis', teasing: "I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up." Her risqué frocks have become so talked about that she even has a team to check her chest before the live shows. "There's a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air," she previously explained. "There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady who's the producer who said, 'Mandy, it looks great'." Ahead of this year's final, Amanda gave an insight into how the judges will be celebrating when the show wraps. She said: "Normally the party is in my room after the show! "Bruno is the first in for a glass of red before the producers and perhaps my Golden Buzzer act pop in. The door is always open and the bubbles are always flowing. "My husband and girls have been down to the show most weeks too, which has been super special... I'd say Simon is the biggest joker now, especially now that his son Eric comes down to auditions and the live shows. He's much more emotional now and loves to see Eric laughing." She added to Closer magazine: "Simon will quite often look to Eric to see how he is reacting to an act. We joke that all our kids will replace us soon on the panel in the years to come."

Amanda Holden furiously hits back at complaints over risqué BGT outfits
Amanda Holden has addressed Ofcom complaints about her daring outfits on the ITV show but insists her wardrobe is always checked by production before walking out on stage Amanda Holden's outfits on Britain's Got Talent have perhaps attracted as much attention from viewers as the talent on stage, vying for a place in the final. The presenter, who has been a judge on the show since 2007, became the main subject of complaints to Ofcom for her choice of wearing sexy outfits, showing off her enviable figure. So much so, her outfits, which have consisted of plunging necklines or high thigh splits, caused outrage among viewers, if the complaints to the broadcasting watchdog are anything to go by. But now, in a recent interview, the star, 54, has decided to address the complaints. She told Closer: "What you see on TV, I really love. I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried." She added: "I think people should have fun with fashion!" In another interview, the mum of two opened up about the process her wardrobe goes through before she steps out in front on the cameras. She previously told The Sun: "There's now a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air." Amanda continued: "There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady who's the producer who said, 'Mandy, it looks great'." Despite being at the forefront of Ofcom complaints, it looks as though the TV star has no desire to dim down the sexiness of her outfits. Away from the panel of Britain's Got Talent, Amanda is set to host a renovation show with Alan Carr, titled Amanda & Alan's Spanish Job. And she is already thinking of ways to add a touch of sexy to her overalls. She told the publication: "It's a joy to wear something so different, and nice to be able to breathe out, with no side boob. " She added: "Though next year I might have some side boob." She continued: "For now, I always go pretty classy and standard. I've got my name on the back, but I didn't even do that in Spanish — I've got Handy Mandy. I should have put Handios Mandios." Britain's Got Talent final will air at 7pm on Saturday 31 May.

In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women Magazines to Shutter, Lay Off Entire Staffs
Four publications have reached the end of the road: In Touch, Life & Style, Closer and First for Women. McClatchy Media Company, which owns and operates the magazines, informed staff on Friday that all four will be sunsetting in the coming weeks when final issues are published by the end of June, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. More from The Hollywood Reporter Sean "Diddy" Combs' Lawyers Question Assistant's Dedication Amid Abuse Allegations Watch 'Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter' Featuring Top Drama Actresses Friday on IFC and AMC+ "Wait, I'm Slapping a Teenager Who's Getting An Abortion?": How the Cast of 'Adults' Pulled Off Their Boundary-Pushing Comedy 'Despite the best efforts of many of our talented colleagues, we have been unable to develop a profitable business model for four of our magazine titles. First for Women, In Touch, Life & Style and Closer will publish their final editions between June 20 and 27,' McClatchy spokesperson Julie Pendley said in a statement to THR. 'We are grateful for the meaningful contributions of the affected employees and are providing support during the transition.' It's unclear how many employees are impacted by the layoffs. THR has reached out for additional comment on the number of staffers affected. The news marks yet another blow to the media and magazine business, which has suffered widespread layoffs and cutbacks in recent years due to declining readership, algorithmic changes, a rise in AI and leaning toward social platforms like TikTok. Just this week, Business Insider confirmed it was cutting its staff by 21 percent in layoffs that would impact every department. The McClatchy shutterings also mark the end of an era for the celebrity tabloid business with the loss of three high-profile titles in the space. Though McClatchy is best known as a newspaper publisher with such newsroom operations as The Kansas City Star, Miami Herald, The Sacramento Bee, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Charlotte Observer and more, it expanded its reach into lifestyle and entertainment categories when it merged with accelerate360, a distribution, logistics and media company. It acquired Us Weekly in the merger, and according to a source, that title was 'always the star' above In Touch, Life & Style and Closer, the latter of which covered the older generation of stars while the former two are much more traditional glossy celebrity tabloids. 'It's very expensive to do print these days,' added a source of the closures. 'The numbers are continuously down though there still is value in these brand names so it's still possible that someone could purchase them and keep them alive.' Despite the pullback in print, the magazines boasted online readership and considerable social media followings. On Instagram alone, both Life & Style and In Touch counted north of half a million followers in addition to robust websites. According to an editor letter published by editor-in-chief Liz Vaccariello, First for Women was founded in 1989 and publishes every two weeks. The current focus was on delivering 'guidance and encouragement on everything from beauty and fashion to health, psychology, diet and nutrition. Plus, all things food, family and home,' per Vaccariello. While Hollywood's talent publicists may not be shedding tears today, those who made a living in the celebrity weekly space at one of the publications are having a tough time. 'Just another black Friday in the tabloid business,' said a source with a sigh.
