Meet Assamese actor who is all set to feature in India's first Rs 4000 crore epic
Bollywood has witnessed the evolution of several artistes over the years. An actor, usually seen in minor roles, is now all set to make her Hindi film debut in a multi-crore pan-global Assamese actor who is all set to play an iconic character in the epic two-part movie series is none other than Surabhi Das. She will be seen portraying the role of Urmila, opposite actor Ravie Dubey's Lakshman in 'Ramayana: Part 1 and 2'. Urmila is mentioned as the wife of Lord Rama's younger brother Lakshman in sage Valmiki's 'Ramayana' and sage Tulsidas's 'Ramcharitmanas'.
