With over 1.5 million global listeners tuning into TS5 sets, the brand has become synonymous with unforgettable nights and genre-defying musical journeys. Kuala Lumpur audiences can expect a special performance fresh off his critically acclaimed 2025 UK arena tour and the release of his latest album, 'Commitment', which critics have praised for its perfect balance of timeless soul, nostalgic charm, and modern brilliance. Craig David's career includes selling over 15 million albums, accumulating 5 billion streams, receiving 14 BRIT Award nominations, and being awarded an MBE for his services to music. This November, Malaysian fans will have a one-night-only chance to experience the TS5 show, an immersive event brought to life by T-REX Studio.

Craig David announces in Sunrise exclusive that he will tour Australia in 2025
Craig David has announced he will tour Australia. The beloved superstar, who rose to fame 25 years ago with his debut album, Born to Do It, will come Down Under later this year. He just dropped his new album, Commitment, which features a collaboration with American singing sensation JoJo, In It With You. Appearing on Sunrise on Friday, David let slip of the plans. '(I might be coming to Australia) sooner than you think actually,' the 7 Days singer told Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington during the interview. 'I think we have a few little things on the cards.' Barr pressed the singer, only for him to relent. 'Yeah, I am (coming to Australia). I'll give you the dates as soon as I know the exact ones. But we're coming back over, 100 per cent,' he continued. David went on to say he will be coming this year, adding: 'I promise you it will be before Santa comes around.' In the wide-ranging interview, David spoke about the joy of making the new music. David said: 'It's funny because I felt like the kid in me was able to play, making this new album. 'It felt like the reason I got into music, (like) with Born To Do It, the songs that changed my life, that live in so many people's hearts.' The singer made a comparison to the new album and Born To Do It. 'I understand the credence of what people are trying to articulate when they say 'can you give us another Born To Do It'. 'I'm like 'hey, I kind of know what you mean and I'm going to try to give you the feeling in 2025'. 'I'm really proud of this album, it just feels, wholesome.' Elsewhere, David reflected on his rise to fame, back in 2000. He famously grew-up on a council estate, in a two-bedroom flat with his mother. He quickly became a global, chart-topping sensation. David said: 'The next minute, having watched so many performances on TV programs like Top of the Pops, then being able to play in certain arenas you wish you could see an artist in. The next thing, I was actually playing them. He also reflected on the sacrifices of his mother. 'You know, my mum is everything. I think I can speak on behalf of everyone. Having a wonderful mother, who cares for you, nurtures you, goes above and beyond (is so special). 'Years later, you realise 'you gave me that 20 pounds because that thing was important to me'. Even when you didn't have it. 'She has always shown so much love. She's always been there for me in times. To just reach out and say 'Craig, I love you' and that's it.' David, who is good friends with Delta Goodrem, reflected on Australia and their friendship. David first visited Australia at the Rumba Festival in 2001. 'Every time I come to Australia, some of my favourite memories are made there. 'Delta and I go back so many years. I am so fond of her. 'I am so glad for her because she's gone through so much in her life. 'Now, she's found the right partner and she's enjoying this phase of her life. 'I'm just really happy for such a special woman.'

Pop legend wants to headline Glastonbury 2027 for 10-year anniversary of set
After a decade away, one 00s pop legend is throwing his hat into the ring for a headlining spot at Glastonbury. With two number one albums, 16 Top 10 hits, and 298 weeks spent in the UK charts, Craig David is ready to tackle that coveted Worthy Farm title. Glastonbury is having a fallow year to allow the ground to recover, so the 7 Days icon will have to wait until 2027 – perfect timing for a special anniversary. It will mark 10 years since the 44-year-old star last performed on the Pyramid Stage, a performance which he described as 'iconic'. Telling The Sun to 'stay tuned', he shared how he would 'love to go back', adding: 'You know what Glastonbury means to any artist'. 'When I performed on the Pyramid Stage, it was one of the most iconic moments for me. I could see that there were so many people from so many different walks of life who'd come to see a myriad of different artists.' Over 100,000 people filled the field, and a further 7,600,000 watched on BBC iPlayer, with many at the time saying he deserved the Sunday Legend slot. His set was sandwiched between Jools Holland and a speech from Jeremy Corbyn, with Katy Perry, The National, and Foo Fighters closing the day. Craig shared: 'I'd never seen so many people and I thought that is what it is normally like. People were like, 'No, Craig, the crowd went over the bank at the back and that is huge.' It was just amazing.' For the past few years, he has posted a clip of the set on Instagram and called the experience a 'core memory'. 'Performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2017 holds a special place in my heart,' the Re-Rewind hitmaker wrote. 'Being able to sing to so many beautiful people at this iconic festival will always be a career highlight.' He's just released a new album, Commitment, after focusing on his TS5 DJ set recently with performances at festivals like Southampton's Summer Sessions and Kew The Music. This ninth album comes 25 years after 7 Days, the song which cemented him as one of the UK's most iconic performers. Craig previously told Metro how he wouldn't re-release any of his older music as it's too precious to his fans. More Trending ''It's so not about me,' he said at the time. 'There was a point when I was first writing music where it was about 'I want to go out there, I want to play this for you, I want to know how it feels to experience this'. 'Then it comes to another point where you recognise that the anecdotes and stories that people tell you over the years of being on holiday, meeting their partner, just a special memory for them with a song that's one of mine. 'It becomes not about me, it's about what am I doing and what service can I bring. I love it.' Got a story? Craig David wants to headline Glastonbury
Craig David wants to headline Glastonbury. The 44-year-old singer last performed on the famous Pyramid Stage at the Worthy Farm festival in 2017 and would jump at the chance to play Glastonbury again, when it returns in 2027. He told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: 'I would love to go back. You know what Glastonbury means to any artist. 'When I performed on the Pyramid Stage, it was one of the most iconic moments for me. "I could see that there were so many people from so many different walks of life who'd come to see a myriad of different artists. 'I'd never seen so many people and I thought that is what it is normally like. 'People were like, 'No, Craig, the crowd went over the bank at the back and that is huge.' It was just amazing.' Meanwhile, Craig is preparing for the release of his upcoming ninth album Commitment, 25 years after he dropped his first record Born To Do It. He said: 'Creating Commitment was in a lot of respects very similar to Born To Do It. 'It didn't feel like I was under this pressure to deliver. It felt really relaxed and cathartic. 'I was listening to the music I grew up listening to, like when I made the first album. "It got me into a vibe and then I'd go in the studio until 4am. 'I was just loving it, having so much fun. 'You start to get back to why I originally made music. It's crazy when it's the ninth album in. 'To have a career spanning 25 years, I'm just really grateful, it's a crazy journey we're on.'

Huge 00s music star reveals he wants Glastonbury 2027 headline slot as he bares soul on new album Commitment
It's been 25 years since he released his debut album BORN TO DO IT BORN TO DO IT Huge 00s music star reveals he wants Glastonbury 2027 headline slot as he bares soul on new album Commitment Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT'S been a huge year for Craig David so far, with an arena tour completed, his new album Commitment dropping on Friday and the 25th anniversary of debut record Born To Do It next Thursday. When I catch up over Zoom with the nicest man in music, I tell him I'm desperately hoping to see him at the next Glastonbury in 2027. Craig smiles: 'You're my lucky charm, Ellie. You put good things out into the space so stay tuned. 'I would love to go back. 'People were like, 'No, Craig, the crowd went over the bank at the back and that is huge.' It was just amazing.' The reaction to Craig's ninth album Commitment I'm sure will be just as impressive. In my eyes, it's Craig's best body of work since Born To Do It. 'Creating Commitment was in a lot of respects very similar to Born To Do It,' Craig explains. 'It didn't feel like I was under this pressure to deliver. It felt really relaxed and cathartic. Craig David gives huge update on new album and reveals massive collaboration with Tiwa Savage 'I was listening to the music I grew up listening to, like when I made the first album. "It got me into a vibe and then I'd go in the studio until 4am. 'I was just loving it, having so much fun.' New single Rain, which is out now, is classic Craig — clean, crisp and showcasing his lyricism and vocals at their best. Themes of love and loss, as with most of Craig's songs, feature heavily on the record with beautiful tracks Perfect Love and So Special crafted with Wretch 32. Craig explains: 'Wretch is known for his lyricism as a rapper but in the studio he was doing these vocals and I'm like, 'Bro, let me hear that again.' 'His source of where his melodies come from are like Earth, Wind, and Fire. "One of his favourite albums is Hotel California. 'His melodies on Perfect Love, I'm thinking, 'Wretch, what is this?' This is like fire in a booth.' Leave The Light On, Craig's collaboration with Louisa Johnson, is equally as impressive, with Becky Hill putting her stamp on tune as a co-writer. 'PERSONAL TRACK' The result is, as Craig correctly puts it: 'A dance banger.' He adds: 'Becky came in for a songwriting session and it wasn't going to be a song with Becky as the front artist. "She sang it and it was amazing. I said, 'Becky, where are we going from here?' Unanimously Louisa's name came up. 'She can sing these real soul diva vocals you get from artists like Aretha Franklin. 'I reached out and, when you have Becky Hill to do a demo, it's very difficult to be like . . . you're going toe to toe with one of the best vocalists in this country. "But she did it justice. The ad-libs were like out of Mariah Carey's book.' My favourite track on the record is Dominoes, a stripped back and lyrically powerful song which I feel is Craig's most personal track on Commitment. The opening lyrics are poignant, with Craig singing: 'Told you to stand up, told you to face up, and you'd believe. 'Because it's easy to man up being the man you're supposed to be. 'Under the surface you're getting tired of playing the role, and you wish it was different but it's all you know.' 9 Becky Hill co-wrote Leave The Light On, Craig's collaboration with Louisa Johnson Credit: Getty Craig says of Dominoes: 'It's one of my favourites from the album. "I hope that it has the same impact on people who listen to it. 'Even if you didn't know you needed it. The whole point of Dominoes is that we all fall and that's OK.' As well as shining through on this album track, Craig's kindness extends to his everyday life and desire to give back. He is a proud ambassador for Shelter and earlier this year took his mum Tina back to the flat they lived in when he was a kid, as part of a campaign to call on the Government to provide more social housing. Craig says: 'I met the family there now, a single mother with three children and that was a very similar situation to me and my mum. 'I grew up on what was called a council estate then. If my mum didn't have that it would have been very different circumstances for us. 'FOUND FIRE' 'I went to my bedroom where I recorded Born To Do It, I was looking out at the same car park. 'I thought, it's been 25 years or more since I left this flat. "If the walls could speak they would be like, 'I remember when you were mumbling some distant lyrics into a dictaphone.' 'I surprised the family there with a few songs I wrote in the house, Walking Away, Fill Me In and 7 Days. 'It was one of the most special moments because those walls, the sofa, the living room - it all looked the same.' Born To Do It changed his life. Craig has amassed 16 Top Ten singles and two No1 records in the years that followed. With Commitment, Craig has found his fire again. 'You start to get back to why I originally made music,' Craig explains. 'It's crazy when it's the ninth album in. 'To have a career spanning 25 years, I'm just really grateful. Ellie, it's a crazy journey we're on.' From Friday it's going to get even crazier, Craig. Dua is known for her healthy eating and punishing workout routines. She is currently on a break from her Radical Optimism tour until it heads to Canada on September 1. Opening up about keeping in shape, Dua said: 'I try and stay as healthy as possible whenever I can. "I'm never one to stop myself having naughty treats, but I try and limit it to days when I'm not as busy because if I do eat a doughnut, it usually puts me in a food coma.' But she admitted: 'Beans on toast . . . that's, like, one of my favourite English meals. JIMMY'S LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK JIMMY CARR has plenty to smile about after raking in almost £5million last year. It means the comedian is earning Premier League-level wages – close to £100,000 per week. 9 Jimmy Carr raked in almost £5million last year Credit: Getty The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year host doubled his profits through live shows and TV deals. He has proved to be a savvy businessman after signing big-money contracts with the likes of Netflix, Channel 4, Comedy Central and Amazon Prime. R & I Futures Ltd is the firm into which he reportedly channels his TV income and it has banked £4.8million. The bumper earnings, which cover the year to September 30, 2024, took assets to £10.3million before bills, just two years after Jimmy set up the company. But the business was presented with a not-so-funny tax bill of £1.2million due to his bumper income. I bet he will pay that pronto, after his 2012 tax scandal. The star is continuing to earn the big bucks as he is currently on his Laughs Funny tour in the UK, which will head to the US, Australia, New Zealand and Europe next year. With his Channel 4 gameshow I Literally Just Told You also set to return for a fifth series in 2026, he's doing pretty well for himself. Bizbit THE MACCABEES' Felix White has admitted it 'felt embarrassing' to be reuniting eight years after the band's farewell shows. Speaking on Radio X about their split in 2017, he said: 'I think it took a second to get around the fact that, like, we said it was the end of the band. "So, it almost like it felt embarrassing to be like, 'Oh, actually . . .' DJ JO FELT TINY WITH EMINEM JO WHILEY has revealed Eminem did one of her worst-ever interviews because he made her feel 'tiny and stupid.' Speaking on her Dig It podcast, she said of the rapper: 'Then a couple of years later he came back on the show but with Dr Dre and the fame had happened and he was just this other creature altogether. 'They were just so playful with me – and can I just say they made me feel so tiny and so stupid. "It was a really unpleasant experience.'
