Ralph Ineson On Whether His THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Villain Galactus is Evil; Calls Him "A God, Of Sorts" — GeekTyrant
Fans are gearing up for the introduction of the Fantastic Four to the MCU in the upcoming film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps . The movie looks amazing, and it will be cool to finally get a really good quality story about these characters, and immerse them in the world that's already established in the current Marvel landscape. With these heroes, we are also getting a new super villain that is arguably the biggest and baddest we've seen so far. In the upcoming copy of Empire Magazine, set to hit shelves next week, the cover story focuses on the film's villain, Galactus, who is being portrayed by actor Ralph Ineson, heralded by Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. They will go up against Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), the Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), the Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). Galactus is described as 'a humongous, 14-billion-year-old, planet-devouring cosmic vampire,' as director Matt Shakman puts it, and Marvel boss Kevin Feige has long, long wanted to tell. 'The coming of Galactus is one of the greatest comic-book stories ever written,' he told the outlet. For Ineson, getting into the headspace of Galactus was all about going big. 'He's a cosmic force. He's a god, of sorts,' the actor – still beloved by fans of The Office for playing the detestable 'Finchy' – explains. That meant driving through the tunnels of Mont Blanc, 'just imagining that as his windpipe and his trachea,' he says. 'I also went to a lot of tall buildings. We went to a wedding at the top of the Gherkin building in London, and I spent most of the afternoon just staring out, ruminating. I got in trouble with my wife — she was like, 'You've got to say hello to the bride and groom at some point!'' Still, is Galactus really a bad guy? The people of the Fantastic Four's Earth might think so – though really, he's just a big, planet-eating guy, simply doing what a big, planet-eating guy does. For Ineson, he's played worse people. 'I don't think Galactus is evil,' he says. 'But Finchy's a proper cunt.' We only have less than two months to wait before seeing his reign of destruction on the big screen, and I can't wait! The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theatres on July 25, 2025.

After launching in the USA last year, Ôrəbella has already racked up a cult following and 371,000 Instagram followers. The brand hit our shores last week - but is it worth the investment? Fabulous Beauty Writer Mia Lyndon put the perfumes to the test. Ôrəbella Salted Muse Eau de Parfum, £67 5 The scents are very long-lasting Credit: MIA LYNDON Ôrəbella Salted Muse Eau de Parfum, £67 My first impression of Ôrəbella was one of intrigue and slight confusion, as the perfumes look like more of a prop on a Game of Thrones set than they do a perfume. The bottle is reminiscent of a jewel or even a dragon egg, meaning it'll definitely stand out on my dressing table! You'll need to shake the perfumes to combine their bi-phase formulas, which are made from an alcohol-free base layer packed with hydrating snow mushroom, plus aromatherapy essential oils. Ôrəbella Window2Soul Eau de Parfum, £67 5 The fragrances feature essential oils Credit: MIA LYNDON Ôrəbella Window2Soul Eau de Parfum, £67 Spraying them onto your skin is a very different experience from using other perfumes. Their heavier, thicker texture feels wetter on the skin, and has an oilier texture that takes a while to fully absorb. To ensure they didn't leave my skin feeling damp, I gently massaged the formula into my skin, which left it heavily fragranced. The perfumes are impressively long-lasting, which meant I continuously smelled wafts of the fragrance over the next few hours. Salted Muse is my favourite in the range - it's full-bodied and fresh, reminiscent of hotel lobbies, and has a herbal, sultry element to it. Window2Soul is also lovely, but has a totally different feel to it. Unlike Salted Muse, it has a comforting, slightly powdery air, and reminded me of walking down a blossom-filled road. Ôrəbella Blooming Fire Eau de Parfum, £67 5 This fragrance has floral notes Credit: MIA LYNDON Ôrəbella Blooming Fire Eau de Parfum, £67 Blooming Fire has a floral aroma, which is peppered with warming bergamot and spiced cardamon notes, meaning it's feminine without being overly sweet or sticky. It's not my favourite - as it feels like the least original of the range - but it's a great option for wearing both night and day. Ôrəbella Nightcap Eau de Parfum, £67 5 These formulas are very unique Credit: MIA LYNDON Ôrəbella Nightcap Eau de Parfum, £67 Nightcap rounds off the set, and stars vanilla, ginger and cardamon - which seems to be one of Bella's favoured fragrance notes. This fragrance is designed to be reminiscent of elevated evenings spent at cocktail bars, but I couldn't get past the fact that it smells almost exactly like Coca-Cola! Its formula is also a very interesting shade of brown, so I won't be whipping it out and applying it on the train. Overall, while all the bottles feel a little cheap (especially given the price point), each formula is potent and long-lasting. Bella's certainly brought something new to the market.

Marvel Reportedly Building Toward an ANNIHILATORS Movie and Star-Lord Could Lead the Charge — GeekTyrant
Here's a development that could shake up the cosmic side of the MCU. Multiple scoopers are now reporting that Marvel Studios may be developing a live-action Annihilators film, and Chris Pratt's Star-Lord might be leading the team. The news comes from trusted insider Daniel Richtman, who shared via his Patreon that Marvel is quietly putting the pieces together for an Annihilators project. While no official announcement has been made, this lines up with what other insiders have been teasing over the past year. If this is legit, the project could slot into Marvel's next big wave alongside titles like Black Panther 3 and the long-awaited X-Men reboot. The Annihilators team has deep roots in Marvel Comics lore. Originally created by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and Miguel Angel Sepulveda, the team debuted in The Thanos Imperative: Devastation . The group was formed after Star-Lord's apparent death, with Cosmo the Space Dog pulling together an elite force to prevent galactic-level disasters. The comic book lineup included heavy-hitters like Beta Ray Bill, Silver Surfer, Gladiator, Quasar, Ronan the Accuser, and Ikon, a serious upgrade in cosmic firepower. Back in October 2024, Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus hinted that Peter Quill could return on his own before fans ever see the Guardians reassemble. 'There were plans to have him form the Annihilators. IDK [I don't know] what the plan is now,' Perez said. That uncertainty now feels a little less uncertain. Chris Pratt's last MCU appearance was in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 , which closed out James Gunn's trilogy with a heartfelt goodbye and sent Peter back to Earth. The film ended with the message: 'The Legendary Star-Lord will return,' and Pratt has been open about honoring that promise. 'I can't say, for fans of mine, where they'll see Star-Lord again, but I can tell them we made a promise at the end of [Guardians of the Galaxy] Vol. 3 that the legendary Star-Lord will return, and he will return.' If Star-Lord is indeed building the Annihilators in the MCU, it opens the door for wild team-ups and interstellar conflict on a new scale. It would be pretty cool to see Beta Ray Bill, Cosmo, and Silver Surfer sharing the screen together! We'll have to wait for Marvel to officially confirm the project, but this is definitely one to keep on your cosmic radar.
