Sheikh Khaled offers condolences on passing of RAK philanthropist Obaidullah

His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has offered condolences on the passing of Mohammed Ibrahim Obaidullah, at Majlis Obaidullah in Dubai. Sheikh Khaled extended his deepest sympathies to the family for their loss, wishing them courage and solace, and recalled the virtues of the deceased and his outstanding contributions to charitable, humanitarian and voluntary work across the UAE and beyond. Also offering condolences, along with Sheikh Khaled, were Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; Sheikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince. 27 May 2025 17:32 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, has inaugurated the World Utilities Congress 2025, hosted by Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and taking place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until May Excellency toured the exhibition and reviewed the latest advancements in energy and utility technologies, including innovative solutions being developed and deployed by leading local companies, shaping the future of the congress continues to serve as a premier platform for advancing sustainable energy and water solutions, with this year's congress held under the theme Innovating for a New Age of one featured ministerial panels on aligning energy strategies with COP30 goals and balancing growth with sustainability in emerging markets, alongside sessions on net-zero pathways, energy storage, nuclear power, and water scarcity also explored cross-border power interconnectivity, while the Innovation Hub showcased emerging technologies transforming the utilities sector. The World Utilities Congress 2025 is expected to attract more than 18,000 industry experts and more than 500 speakers in more than 120 panel discussions, providing a vital forum for industry leaders to share insights, collaborate on solutions, and advance progress towards a sustainable and resilient utilities future.

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has arrived in Riyadh leading the UAE delegation at the Gulf-US Summit on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness was received upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, and several Saudi senior officials. Sheikh Khaled is accompanied by a delegation including Sheikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States of America; Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Media Office.
