‘My two favourite people' cry fans as Sex and the City star spotted in Dublin with TV pal
A SEX and the City star was spotted in Dublin this week while cheering on her bestie Rosie O'Donnell as she took on the comedy world in her new Irish home. American actress, Cynthia Nixon, who is famous for her role as the fiercely independent Miranda Hobbes in the hit drama series, was snapped beaming alongside Rosie after her show. 3 Rosie O'Donnell and Cynthia Nixon reunited in Dublin 3 Cynthia came to support Rosie's new show 3 Cynthia plays Miranda in Sex and The City The Hollywood pals were snapped beaming together after Cynthia jetted across the pond especially to catch Rosie's hit show before it headed off to the Edinburgh Fringe. Posting the sweet moment on Instagram, Cynthia gushed: "Nothing like seeing my friend (and Miranda's one-night stand, Mary) kill it onstage IN DUBLIN!" In the cute photo, Cynthia put her arm around Rosie as they both shared a laugh together. Another snap showed Rosie sternly telling a story while Cynthia was in stitches of laughter. The pair even bumped into each other again by pure Irish luck at the airport, with Rosie en route to Scotland and Cynthia flying back home to the States. And fans all raced to the comment section to gush over the two ladies reuniting. Lee wrote: "Rosie is brilliant and so are you." Joyce said: "Two of my favorite people!" Nancy added: "Rosie is a national treasure." And Billy remarked: "You ladies rock!" 'I Jump into action like I'm an EMT' Rosie O' Donnell recalls moment she saved elderly woman choking in Dublin hotel The famous friends have been pals for years, however in more recent times Rosie and Cynthia played lovers on the new Sex And The City revival, And Just Like That. On the show, Rosie played a character named Mary, who was introduced to Cynthia's character in a lesbian bar. The two characters have a one-night stand, and later Mary reveals she is a nun who has never been with a woman before. IRISH WELCOME Cynthia and Rosie had not crossed paths since Rosie recently relocated herself and her 12-year-old daughter to Dublin. Speaking on The Late Late Show earlier this year, Rosie spoke about her decision to emigrate to Ireland as well as her decision to apply for Irish citizenship. Rosie has been vocal in the past in her criticism of the current American President and explained to Kielty why his victory was the reason behind her move. She told host Patrick Kielty: "Well, there's the President of the United States that has it out for me and has for twenty years. 'When I told the truth about him on a programme called The View, where it was my job to talk about pop culture and politics, I mentioned his bankruptcies. 'PUNCHLINE' 'I mentioned the fact that he's not the businessman everyone thinks he is "And so he was very angry, to say the least yes, and he hasn't let it go. And he sort of uses me as a punchline whenever he feels the need." She continued: 'The biggest reason why it was different than the first time he was in office is the Supreme Court giving him ultimate power, the powers of a king or a monarch. "And that's not what the United States is about and it's a terrifying prospect."

These Trousers Make Every Outfit Look Elegant – They're Still In Stock (For Now)
When you think of Reformation, chances are you're thinking of a swishy summer dress; and while the celeb-loved brand does indeed make an excellent frock, it's also been refining its timeless basics offering lately. Case in point, the Cynthia straight-leg jeans that were pretty much inescapable on and off social media earlier this year. Now, as we're facing the UK's predictably unreliable summer, the LA-based brand has delivered a pair of trousers so superlative, it's convinced us to abandon our sundresses early. The trousers in question are the Vida Pants, a pair you might have already spotted on your evening Instagram scroll or perhaps on an impossibly well-dressed woman in one of London's trendier neighbourhoods. Designed to sit snugly on the hips, the trousers are cut for a relaxed fit that lightly flares out at the ankles. It's simple enough, really, they're classic, timeless and versatile. Vida Low Rise Trousers You really can't go wrong with a pair of classic black trousers, especially this low-rise pair that'll elevate every single outfit. So what exactly makes them feel so current? Well, to start with, they're crafted from a heavyweight crepe fabric that fluidly drapes across the body and is largely wrinkle-resistant for a polished fit. It's also warmer than cotton to keep you cosy through winter. Then there's the low-rise waist that sits just below the belly button for a relaxed yet elegant fit. Of course, if you're still swearing off low-waisted bottoms, Reformation also offers the sleek trousers with a high waist. Reformation sells the Vida trousers in a crayon box's worth of shades, from muted neutrals and pastels to striped and animal print variations. Naturally, the black trousers have proven most popular with the fashion set this season, who've already styled theirs with everything from satin tops to vests and jackets. Incredibly versatile and evidently seasonless, the trousers are available in sizes ranging from 4 to 16, with special petite and plus-sized iterations also on offer. Meaning no matter your body type, there's a pair to fit you well. Whether you wear yours with a tank top and a silk scarf tied around your waist, as we enjoy the last few weeks of summer, style it with a smart striped shirt and loafers to the office or offset the sleek silhouette with chunky knitwear come autumn, trust me when I say, the Vida trousers will be the hardest working piece in your wardrobe. Unfortunately, its popularity also means it's selling fast, so we suggest shopping for a pair (or two) now. Vida Low Rise Trousers in Cream For a dressier warm-weather option, wear these cream trousers with a tailored waistcoat and heeled flip flops. Vida High Rise Trousers Not completely convinced about the return of low-rise trousers? Add this elegant high-rise pair to your rotation instead. Vida Low Rise Trousers in Brown Chocolate brown is always a winning shade for fall, whether you style your trousers with a matching blazer or a chunky cream jumper. Vida Low Rise Trousers in Rose You don't need to wear this pretty pink pair with a lightweight floral jumper and dainty ballet flats, but we'd highly recommend it. Vida Low Rise Trousers in Zebra ICYMI, zebra print is big with the fashion crowd, and these maximalist trousers are more versatile than you might imagine. Wear them with sleek white T-shirts and cashmere jumpers alike. Veda Vida Low Rise Leather Trousers For a more supermodel off-duty energy, consider this leather-swathed iteration styled with a tank top and streamlined suede trainers. The burgundy shade is just as chic, but selling fast. Main image credits: ©Instagram/@beccawise_ @lostnwonderr Hitanshi Kamdar is a senior commerce writer for Grazia. Sex and the City star gets a taste of farming life in Kerry
US television star Cynthia Nixon has briefly swapped the streets of Manhattan for a farm in north Co. Kerry. The actor, best known for starring as Miranda in the hit series 'Sex and the City', paid a visit to Rena Blake and Lisa Fingleton on their organic farm, The Barna Way, close to Ballybunion last weekend. Cynthia's wife, Christine Marinoni, and Rena ran The Rising Cafe together for seven years in Brooklyn. The award winning actor, who is currently starring in two HBO series; 'And Just Like That' and 'The Gilded Age', is also an environmental activist. Lisa told Agriland that they were "shocked and delighted" when the couple got in touch saying they wanted to visit. Both Cynthia and Christine were eager to hear about the creative, food and nature projects happening in the area. "They're very interested in the environment, really good food and growing local food," Lisa said. The pair joined a Farming for Nature farm walk which was taking place at The Barna Way to highlight the farm's biodiversity projects. Kerry Cynthia enjoyed feeding Biddy, the resident donkey, while she also sat up on the farm's 59-year-old Massey Ferguson tractor, dubbed 'Molly'. "I don't think we've ever had visitors that asked so many questions," Lisa said. "Cynthia was so interested in how we were growing the organic food, she was interested in all aspects of farming, all aspects of woodland. She just kept asking questions. "This is what people are looking for when they come to Ireland. They want the environment, they want the clean food, they're craving that if they live in a city. "I think that was a really nice learning for us, just how much it was appreciated," she added. "They've been in touch since saying how magic it was being on the land and seeing all the different projects for nature and they were here to see the start of the pond that we're making for wildlife. "Sometimes you think, 'why are we doing all these things?'. Then you have someone like Cynthia Nixon coming and being so interested and fascinated by everything that's happening. It was lovely," Lisa said. Cynthia Nixon (left) helping Lisa Fingleton to promote the Ballybunion Bean Festival. Image: Pilar Vahey Cynthia was also happy to lend her support to promote the upcoming Ballybunion Bean Festival taking place on August 16. This new event will focus on the potential of beans as "the most fun and climate friendly food for the future". The name is a play on the famous Ballybunion Bachelor Festival. The event is hosted by Brilliant Ballybunion, a Creative Climate Action Initiative, supported by Creative Ireland. Hosted at The Barna Way, the festival will bring together local artists, collaborators, chefs, and businesses. Over recent months, around 100 people in the local community have been growing beans for a slow food feast, which will be followed by a concert. "It's one day, but it's going to be quite full of beans and gas craic," Lisa said.

We previously told how Sex And the City creator Candace Bushnell insisted she made Scotsmen sexy long before Outlander - after featuring a hot kilt wearing hunk in her hit TV show. The New York author - who was the basis for Sarah Jessica Parker's journalist character Carrie Bradshaw - is quick to point out that Kyle MacLachlan portrayed Charlotte's tartan-clad hubby Trey MacDougal in the series. Sarah Jessica Parker, 59, fans say star 'hasn't aged a day' as she films And Just Like That in sheer dress Candace said: 'One of the most popular characters from the show was Trey MacDougal, played brilliantly by Kyle MacLachlan. 'Although he didn't have a Scots accent, he was of Scottish descent and was steeped in Scots traditions as we even saw him get married to Charlotte in his kilt. 'I mean, a Scotsman in a kilt? "You can't beat that, can you? It's the fantasy. "So we were way ahead of Outlander with our sexy male stereotypes.'

Cynthia Erivo's mouth insured for $2.6m, Entertainment News
Cynthia Erivo's mouth has been insured for US$2 million (S$2.6 million). The Wicked actress — who is known for her distinctive gap in her teeth — has partnered with Listerine on their new Wash Your Mouth campaign and as part of the initiative, the company have made the "bold move" to take out an insurance premium specifically for her "recognisable" mouth. Kamran Shahzad, US head of commercial, oral care at Kenvue, said: "We're ecstatic to collaborate with the iconic Cynthia Erivo to help consumers recognise the importance of mouthwash. "Our new Wash Your Mouth campaign seeks to educate consumers that while brushing and flossing start the oral care routine, Listerine mouthwash completes it. "Together with Cynthia, we're making a bold move to help protect one of the most recognisable mouths in Hollywood because we're confident that Listerine guarantees a healthier mouth." Cynthia has always taken care of her teeth and her oral hygiene routine is a key part of her preparations before going on stage for her concerts. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cynthia Erivo (@cynthiaerivo) She told People magazine: "I'm the geeky kid who was like, 'I'm brushing my teeth.' I don't think mom ever had to fight me to brush my teeth... "Strangely enough, brushing my teeth and using mouthwash — Listerine specifically — for some reason, really opens me up. "It means that I can breathe really well. It's the last thing I do before I go on stage. I just want to make sure that I feel really fresh. It sort of gives me a restart before I go on and sing or speak. "I take good pride in [my mouth] because of my gap. I think what we tend to do is pick our outfits, put the make-up on or do our nails, which are wonderful, great ways to show who you are externally, but cleaning your mouth adds to that. It also adds to the confidence you might not even be able to see unless you smile." When it comes to other forms of self-care, the 38-year-old star undergoes lymphatic massage to reduce water retention and cupping to "get rid of any toxins". She said: "It's an arduous thing to do, but I love doing it because it always aids the end result, which is what you've seen when I'm in front of people singing or performing. "It all goes hand in hand. Everything adds to the next to make sure that all the parts make the whole, and I can actually be present and do the work the way I want to do it." [[nid:720774]]
