Beyoncé's ‘Cowboy Carter' tour isn't just a show, it's a marketing masterpiece: Here's how

Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' tour isn't just a show, it's a marketing masterpiece: Here's how Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" tour isn't just a musical masterpiece; it's also a business blueprint, showcasing her expertise as both an entertainer and a brand strategist. The Grammy-winning singer kicked off the third show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on May 25. The concert was her third time performing in the New York area — East Rutherford, New Jersey — on her Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is set to perform on the same stage for a total of five nights. The remaining shows will take place May 28 and 29. As fans know, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. She performed a total of five shows there, putting on a revolutionary show filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. However, the show has also been a masterclass in business and branding, with Beyoncé seamlessly weaving her ventures throughout the tour and even spotlighting them onstage. Beyoncé made sure to highlight her Cécred hair care line Beyoncé's Cécred hair care line has been named the official beauty brand of the "Cowboy Carter" tour. Dubbed the Cécred Roadshow, the brand is delivering a nationwide mobile pop-up, and Los Angeles concertgoers were the first to experience it before it hit a number of other cities and Ulta Beauty stores around the country. During the tour, fans have had access to a Cécred oasis filled with live activations, photo opportunities and merchandise. And Beyoncé makes sure to showcase her brand throughout her onstage performances. During her song "Thique," she gave a shoutout to Cécred's viral restoring hair and edge drops. She adds, "that's that Cécred drops," referencing the thickness fans experience in their hair after using the product. Of course, Beyoncé released her hair care line last year. Prior to the announcement, she teased her new business venture on Instagram while opening up about the impact of growing up in her mom's hair salon. Beyoncé's SirDavis whiskey sets up shop at the concert And Cécred isn't the only brand Beyoncé highlights throughout her show. Her SirDavis whiskey brand is a constant. In her 2024 song "Bodyguard," Beyoncé sings "Davis in my bones" and fans are able to sing along in unison because SirDavis Whisky is the official spirit of the tour. The American whiskey SirDavis was founded by Beyoncé and crafted in partnership with Moët Hennessy. Fans attending her concerts have plenty of opportunities to enjoy it. Multiple SirDavis bars and specialty cocktails are available throughout the shows. At some stops mini SirDavis shot glasses and mason jar-style cups topped with white cowboy hats filling the stadium have been available for sale. Beyoncé continues this business blueprint onstage. At one point during the show, a robot arm pours her a glass of SirDavis whiskey live onstage. The moment has sparked several viral clips and has also served as a unique way to promote the brand. The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26. Beyoncé has already made history with her scheduled tour dates, including by playing the most dates at SoFi Stadium of any artist. Beyoncé is bringing a beauty pop-up to Chicago next week

Have you been excited about Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour? Get in line, ya'll! Queen Bey will be walking them boots into the Windy City for three nights next week (Thursday, May 15, Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, to be exact) at Soldier Field and to celebrate, she's getting the Beyhive glammed up in preparation. The music icon's beauty company Cécred—pronounced 'sacred', a haircare brand founded in 2024 that utilizes bioactive keratin ferment and special ingredients for stronger, shinier, and more springy hair—will be hosting a special curated event connected to the ongoing stadium tour. The Cécred Roadshow will bring its chrome-wrapped pop-up experience to Cowboy Carter stadium locations across the country, including, happily, Chicago. View this post on Instagram A post shared by CÉCRED (@cecred) Bey fans can find the immersive experience at Soldier Field on May 15, 17 and 18, as well at Ulta Beauty locations in Chicago on May 16. Along with taking home exclusive products (we'll personally be stocking up on that Nourishing Hair Oil, STAT) and free gifts like a limited-edition Cécred x Cowboy Carter keychain, attendees can enjoy a plethora of interactive and Instagram-worthy fun: there will be those aforementioned chrome-wrapped trailers as well as a Cécred salon stage, a larger-than-life "Ceyoncé" inflatable and a Cécred Fan Cam, complete with a wind machine, of course, for you to whip around your newly lustrous locks. (Just don't get your hair caught in the fan—remember that 2013 Montreal show?!) Following the singer's mid-May Chicago dates, the Cécred Roadshow will follow along the Cowboy Carter Tour schedule and next move onto New Jersey's MetLife Stadium from May 22 through 29; then Yoncé's hometown of Houston, Texas at the NRG Stadium from June 27 to 29; over to Washington, D.C.'s Northwest Stadium on July 4 (a true American requiem!) and 7; down to Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium from July 10 to 16; and finally, to Las Vegas on July 25 and 26 at Allegiant Stadium. Saddle up now!

Beyoncé fans: SoFi Stadium highlights to look for at upcoming Los Angeles shows

Beyoncé fans: SoFi Stadium highlights to look for at upcoming Los Angeles shows Beyoncé Knowles-Carter rocked the stage during the opening show of her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour, and she's expected to bring the heat for the remainder of her first set of shows in Los Angeles. The megastar brought the debut concert of her "Cowboy Carter" tour to the SoFi Stadium stage in Los Angeles on April 28. The night was filled with family, powerful messages — and of course soaring vocals, incredible costumes and masterful choreography. Unless you've been completely off the grid, you've probably seen the set list for the 3-hour show and top moments —like Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy owning the stage. In addition to experiencing the show in-person, there are some other highlights to look forward to during the show. Find Beyoncé concert tickets Beyoncé tour set list: All 39 songs played at massive 'Cowboy Carter' concert Beyoncé's Cécred hair salon Beyoncé's Cécred hair care line has been named the official beauty brand of the "Cowboy Carter" tour. Dubbed the Cécred Roadshow, the brand is delivering a nationwide mobile pop-up, and Los Angeles concertgoers will be the first to experience it before it hits a number of other cities and Ulta Beauty stores around the country. Once on SoFi grounds, fans can look forward to a Cécred oasis filled with live activations, photo opportunities and merchandise. Of course, Beyoncé released her hair care line last year. Prior to the announcement, she teased her new business venture on Instagram while opening up about the impact of growing up in her mom's hair salon. Beyoncé's SirDavis whiskey sets up shop at the concert During Beyoncé's opening show, many fans sang along with her as she sang the lyrics "Davis in my bones" from her 2024 song "Bodyguard." And for many of those in the crowd it was a true statement thanks to Beyoncé's SirDavis Whisky — the official spirit of the tour. The American whiskey was founded by Beyoncé and crafted in partnership with Moët Hennessy, and fans headed to Beyoncé's concerts have abundant opportunities to get their hands on a glass. There are multiple SirDavis bars and specialty cocktails, and fans can expect to see SirDavis mini shot glasses and many mason jar-esque cups topped with white cowboy hats filling the stadium. These cups are one of many cute trinkets, and they are selling for $43. Merchandise, trivia games and more During the first show, many fans were excited to purchase never-before seen "Cowboy Carter" merchandise, some of which incorporated Beyoncé's other brands, such as a Cé Lumière perfume car freshener. During the kickoff performance, fans had the chance to participate in different trivia games. At one point, Beyoncé's publicist Yvette Noel-Schure made her way around the stadium to crown Beyhive members "queens of the rodeo" for their outfits. The takeaway — Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit is more than a show; it's an experience. And for many die-hard Beyoncé fans it's a one-stop shop for all thing Beyoncé and her many business ventures.
