Myrtle Sarrosa helps D4vd cosplay Uchiha Sasuke from 'Naruto'

Myrtle Sarrosa flexed her cosplaying experience after helping American singer-songwriter D4vd dress up as Uchiha Sasuke from "Naruto!" On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared a clip from D4vd's performance during the "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang" festival. In the video, D4vd was singing one of his songs while dressed as Sasuke. Myrtle eventually joined him on stage while dressed as a female Naruto. "We made it happen! D4VD in his first cosplay as Sasuke for Fanfes! He even invited me to come up on stage as Naruto! Dattebayo," Myrtle wrote. According to the Filipina cosplayer, she met David during his "Withered" tour in Manila on May 16 and said that he would love to cosplay Sasuke. "As a fan, we really wanted to make this happen! We had 18 hours to make his costume before his performance but my team was able to pull this off from scratch!" she said. Myrtle is a famous cosplayer before she entered showbiz. She previously cosplayed a girl version of Naruto, Nami of "One Piece," and female version of Ryomen Sukuna, a character from "Jujutsu Kaisen." Meanwhile, D4vd is known for his hit songs "Here With Me" and "Romantic Homicide" among others. He previously performed in Coachella 2025, where Niana Guerrero served as a special guest. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Selena Scores Another Posthumous Chart Win

30 years after her passing — almost to the day — Selena scores a new hit on a Billboard ranking. The Queen of Cumbia remains one of the most successful Tejano musicians of all time in the U.S., and her legacy continues to expand, thanks to special re-releases and anniversaries that remind the masses of her impact. Selena frequently appears on Billboard's various tallies, sometimes with the same title, and at other times with a variety of songs and collections. This frame, a pair of full-lengths from the late star secure spots on the charts, as one holds steady while another returns. Remarkably, her album Entre A Mi Mundo even lands on a list where she's only appeared a handful of times, and the singer scores another posthumous win. Entre A Mi Mundo debuts on the Vinyl Albums chart this week, Billboard's ranking of the bestselling full-lengths on wax throughout the U.S. Selena's effort enters at No. 14. It earns the seventh-highest start on the list, landing behind popular names like Ghost, D4vd, Rilo Kiley, and even Jeff Goldblum. What makes Selena's performance so special is that the collection is not new, it's just new to this tally. The project was originally released as the superstar's third album back in mid-1992. While she was already immensely popular within certain communities, this effort helped catapult her to even greater fame. It peaked at No. 97 on the Billboard 200 and climbed into the top 10 on several other Billboard rosters, including hitting No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Albums list. Entre A Mi Mundo was recently pressed on vinyl for the first time ever. Fans were offered a choice between a standard red wax record and a picture disc, which was made available exclusively through the Universal Music Latino website. Though the album was a bestseller when it was first released, vinyl was not in demand at the time, as it had faded from mainstream popularity following its heyday in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, and the format's comeback had not yet begun. This latest win marks just Selena's third appearance on the Vinyl Albums chart. As it opens at No. 14, Entre A Mi Mundo becomes her only effort to land on the tally without hitting No. 1, as both Ones and Amor Prohibido previously spent one frame each leading the ranking. Alongside its vinyl debut, Entre A Mi Mundo also returns to two other Billboard rankings, thanks to its vinyl-related sales uptick. It reenters the Top Album Sales list at No. 35, marking a new all-time peak thanks to a little more than 2,500 copies purchased, according to Luminate. Simultaneously, it returns to the Top Latin Albums roster in the same position, No. 35, though that isn't a new best, as the title has previously soared to No. 4.

Ghost's New No. 1 Outsells The Competition Several Times Over

Swedish heavy metal band Ghost lands its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 this week, as Skeleta launches atop the ranking of the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the United States. The collection is a winner across every chart on which it appears in America. Skeleta performs exceptionally well thanks largely to its sizable opening sales sum. Fans across the U.S. didn't just stream the release or buy a few tracks, they purchased the full-length in droves. Ghost didn't face much competition this frame, as the band's latest effort outsold even the next biggest projects with ease. According to Luminate, in its first full tracking period, Skeleta sold 76,700 copies in America. Billboard reports that a little more than half of those units — 44,000 to be exact — were on vinyl. Skeleta debuts at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart, Billboard's ranking of the bestselling full-lengths of any genre and format, whether vinyl, CD, or digital download. The heavy metal collection beats the latest from Grateful Dead, the lengthy-titled Dave's Picks Volume 54: Baltimore Civic Center, Baltimore, MD – 3/26/73, which opens in the runner-up spot with 19,000 copies sold. Ghost bests the Grateful Dead nearly four times over. The group's new release sold so well that it even outperforms the next eight bestselling albums in the U.S. combined. That roundup includes mostly debuts, as the Top Album Sales chart this time around is packed with brand new offerings. Skeleta beats not just the Grateful Dead's latest, but also just-dropped efforts from D4vd, Tucker Wetmore, Goose, Billy Idol, and Viagra Boys, as well as holdovers from Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter, both of which manage to remain inside the top 10. Skeleta opens on half a dozen Billboard charts this week, and it leads all of them. In addition to the Billboard 200, Top Album Sales, and Vinyl Albums charts, it also rules three genre-specific rankings, topping the Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Hard Rock Albums lists.

Friday Music Guide: New Music From LISA, Lizzo, Benson Boone & More

Billboard's Friday Music Guide serves as a handy guide to this Friday's most essential releases — the key music that everyone will be talking about today, and that will be dominating playlists this weekend and beyond. This week, LISA presents the real her, Lizzo returns to the public eye and Benson Boone delivers another arena-ready single. Check out all of this week's picks below: More from Billboard Chris Stapleton Passes on Bizarre Australian Concert Tradition Lizzo Introduces New Musical Era With 'Love in Real Life': Stream It Now LISA of BLACKPINK Introduces Fans to Her 'Alter Ego' on Debut Solo Album: Stream It Now LISA, Although LISA employs different alter egos — Vixi, Kiki, Roxi, Sunni and Speedi — on her debut solo album as a means of embodying different styles and shades of her identity, nothing about Alter Ego feels disjointed; instead, the BLACKPINK star spends this impressive project exploring different aspects of her musical persona with curiosity and confidence, whether she's spitting alongside Future on 'Fxck Up the World,' throwing it back to '00s R&B with Tyla on 'When I'm With You,' or putting her own spin on modern pop balladry on 'Dream.' Lizzo, 'Love in Real Life' 'I might make an appearance since I look this fine / Plus, it's been a while,' Lizzo declares on her comeback single 'Love in Real Life,' which follows a period of controversy (and a flirtation with retirement) with a song that centers Lizzo's still-mighty voice, snarling guitar in the chorus, and a story about stepping back into public life and feeling more satisfied than expected. Benson Boone, 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' Even as 'Beautiful Things' logs another month as a streaming juggernaut, Benson Boone is moving on to more anthemic fare: 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' mines similar territory but with a tempo that remains racing throughout, as Boone's booming voice keeps pushing forward this time instead of starting and stopping. D4vd with Kali Uchis, 'Crashing' Both D4vd and Kali Chis are young, kinetic stars with classic pop sensibilities, so it's not surprising that their new collaboration, 'Crashing,' features a lilting hook and shimmering harmonies that could work on both top 40 radio and TikTok feeds; both artists have scored viral hits in the past, and they might have a traditional one here. Dasha, 'Not at This Party' Part of the reason why Dasha broke through with 'Austin' last year was due to the song's combination of evocative lyrical detail and folk-informed country — and with new single 'Not at This Party,' the singer-songwriter revisits a winning formula, as she checks her phone in a bathroom line and lets her mind wander to happier times while banjo and guitar strings get strummed around her voice. Feid, 'Nos Desconoximos' Ascendant Colombian star Feid continues to blend reggaeton and electronic music on 'Nos Desconoximos,' a new single which precedes a European tour that kicks off next week, but might as well be designed to rule club mixes this summer, with its collision of thumping percussion and Feid's lower tone producing a rumbling dance hit. Banks, Banks recently told Billboard that new album Off With Her Head is 'about shedding past identities that no longer resonate' — and while the veteran singer-songwriter's latest project will please longtime listeners, she does indeed tinker with the edges of her alt-pop, particularly on collaborations with Doechii and Sampha that serve as highlights. Editor's Pick: Shygirl, It's almost unfair that Club Shy Room 2, Shygirl's latest luxurious dance project, is only 14 minutes long — these six songs of entrancing dance music, featuring guests like Saweetie, PinkPantheress and Jorja Smith, create a new world for the British singer-producer that ends too soon, and begs for expansion. Let's hope this Room gets an addition sooner than later. Best of Billboard Chart Rewind: In 1989, New Kids on the Block Were 'Hangin' Tough' at No. 1 Janet Jackson's Biggest Billboard Hot 100 Hits H.E.R. & Chris Brown 'Come Through' to No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay Chart
