A 30-year-old man has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and other offences. He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on July 29. She said: 'I miss your hugs and kisses and you telling me that you love me. I miss every single little thing about you, Jaidyn. Jaidyn's brother Kenley (12) also spoke of the deep bond they shared and the support his sister gave him. Jaidyn Rice 'Jaidyn was like glitter,' he said. 'She always shined hope and happiness into everybody who met her. And no matter what happened, she'd always be there. I will miss that — and the time she stood up for me and held me when I cried.' Jaidyn Rice The loss was also felt by the volunteer groups Jaidyn devoted much of her time to. Louise Little, from the DICE project, described how they had 'big plans' for her in the charity, as 'when others turned away, she stepped forward' and 'listened when others didn't or couldn't'. Reverend Ian McKee, who conducted the funeral, said Jaidyn was 'loved deeply and adored absolutely'. 'Her untimely death has devastated the family circle and shocked the whole community right to the core,' he said.

There's finally a trailer for Battlefield 6, but no multiplayer details just yet

We knew it was coming and now it's here. EA has officially dropped a trailer for the long-rumored Battlefield 6 . The footage is heavy on story, but light on gameplay. As for that story, there's a global war raging with a private military contractor, prompting an explosion-laden presidential address. The trailer certainly suggests that the newest entry in the franchise will have plenty of cinematic set-pieces. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will have both multiplayer and a single player campaign. We'll have to wait a bit to see actual footage of the multiplayer component in action. The company has a livestream planned for July 31 at 2:30PM ET. Today's trailer doesn't seem to feature any gameplay at all, but it does feature a Bob Dylan tune. Battlefield 6 is being developed by several different dev teams, operating under the banner Battlefield Studios. Original developer DICE is involved, as are the folks behind Burnout and Need for Speed . EA Motive, the team behind the Dead Space remake, is on hand, as is a new group known as Ripple Effect. Reports have persisted that the game has faced issues during development that caused it to go over budget . To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. This follows Battlefield 2042 , which was released back in 2021 . The game struggled a bit in the sales department, with the company saying it "did not meet expectations." We don't know when Battlefield 6 will come out, though there have been rumors about an October launch . EA has also remained tight-lipped about what platforms it'll be available for. Maybe we'll get that information on July 31.

We just got our first look at Battlefield 6, and it's exactly what you expect

The official reveal trailer for Battlefield 6 just dropped, and it has all the over-the-top action and destruction players have been waiting for. Collapsing buildings, helicopters falling out of the sky, and explosions everywhere you look — all the elements of Battlefield's iconic style are there. As one viewer said, DICE's answer to the question of 'How many exploding helicopters do you want?' was simply 'yes.' Here's the thing, though: this trailer is only for the single-player mode. There will be a worldwide multiplayer reveal on July 31 that will hopefully provide more details on what players can expect from the PvP mode, including maps, weapons, and vehicles. The franchise has competition it hasn't had before in Delta Force, so DICE will need to entice players to make the jump from a free-to-play game. Recommended Videos Today's trailer suggests a return to single-player mode, an element that was missing from the highly controversial Battlefield 2042. The trailer text reads, 'Witness the vicious path of destruction carved by Pax Armata, the world's leading private military company. PAX pursues the destruction of NATO and its allies, stopping at nothing to uphold their motto: 'Our Protection, Your Peace.' Lock & load for the ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage. In a war of tanks, fighter jets, and massive combat arsenals, your squad is the deadliest weapon. This is Battlefield 6.' Earlier this month, EA said it expects Battlefield 6 to draw in more than 100 million players. For those keeping track, that's a generous estimate. Even the highest-performing Battlefield titles barely broke 30 million players. However, EA has hinted at a free-to-play battle royale mode that will grab players' attention, although the more traditional gameplay modes will be paid content. There's still a lot we don't know. Even single-player gameplay is a mystery, as the trailer was almost all cinematic shots. That said, EA seems to have a lot of faith in the game, and hopefully the developers have learned from mistakes made with the rocky launch of Battlefield 2042.

The First ‘Battlefield 6' Trailer Is Blowing Everyone Away, But No Release Date

EA Battlefield 6 is a huge question mark this fall in terms of both when it releases, how it will perform after time away, and if it's going to be as good as it looks. And it looks good, based on this just-released first trailer. The two-minute spots details the campaign which yes, the game is launching with, as that's not a sure thing these days. The result may be one of the most technically impressive, photoreal 'modern warfare' spots I've ever seen. What we're seeing here just does not seem remotely possible on the engines Call of Duty is running these days. It's very flashy, but DICE knows that people are going to want actual gameplay, which is why the end of the trailer does not feature a release date for the game, but rather a release date for a new livestream about the multiplayer component of Battlefield 6 on July 31, a week from today. There are rumors and apparent leaks that it will be out in October, which would make sense. Its rival, Blacks Ops 7, still does not have a release date either, and the two appear to be dancing around each other to some extent. There is, of course, skepticism about Battlefield 6. It was also the case that early previews of Battlefield 2042 impressed a ton of fans, but the end result of that was…lacking. In terms of performance, there's a report going around that EA wants the game to grab 100 million players, which includes its upcoming free-to-play components, but that circulated (not confirmed) number was widely mocked around the industry as entirely unrealistic. EA As for this trailer and this campaign, here's what DICE gave us for a synopsis: 'Witness the vicious path of destruction carved by Pax Armata, the world's leading private military company. PAX pursues the destruction of NATO and its allies, stopping at nothing to uphold their motto: 'Our Protection, Your Peace.' 'Lock & load for the ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage. In a war of tanks, fighter jets, and massive combat arsenals, your squad is the deadliest weapon. This is Battlefield 6.' It does seem more likely than not that Battlefield 6 will be a hit, though with the trajectory of the series swinging back and forth in terms of quality, that may not necessarily be the safest prediction.
