If you plan on travelling to the UK any time soon, then you're going to want to know about this latest Emirates update. The DXB-based airline has just announced that it will add a fourth daily flight between DXB and London Gatwick. Taking off from Sunday February 8 2026, the airline's newest aircraft Airbus A350 will offer travellers an extra option to get to the UK capital. It will be the 12th daily flight between Dubai International Airport and London-based airports. Emirates flight EK069 will depart Dubai at 5.05pm GST and arrive in London Gatwick at 8.50pm local time. The return flight EK069 departs London Gatwick at 11.55pm local time and lands in Dubai at 11am GST. The new service becomes the final flight of the day offered by Emirates between Dubai and London in both directions. For those travelling to Dubai, the service provides an ideal arrival time for those checking into their hotels, looking to get a start on all the amazing things to do in Dubai. And for those leaving Dubai, it means greater flexibility during the day to finish any business meetings, cram in extra shopping or complete last-minute activities before taking an evening flight. London will join a growing list of global cities served by Emirates' newest aircraft, including Lyon, Bologna, Dammam, Mumbai, Edinburgh, Bahrain, Colombo, Kuwait, Muscat, Tunis, Amman, Istanbul and Ahmedabad. The new service will offer 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats. Once the new daily service is in place, Emirates will have expanded its weekly schedule to 140 weekly UK flights to eight key gateways, including London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
