Bad Bunny Makes History With Another Week At No. 1
As is often the case, Bad Bunny is in charge of the Hot Latin Songs chart this week. The superstar is almost always in control of Billboard's ranking of the biggest Spanish-language tracks in the United States, as he is far and away one of the most successful names in Latin music history. As Bad Bunny earns another turn in first place with 'DTMF,' he makes history with his hugely popular track. 'DTMF' Reaches 30 Weeks at No. 1 'DTMF' holds at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for its thirtieth nonconsecutive frame. Bunny's cut is just the fourth in history to rack up that many stays atop the most important Latin tally published by Billboard. Bad Bunny Joins Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Enrique Iglesias Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber hold the all-time record, as the remix of 'Despacito,' which saw the Canadian pop star joining the Latin powerhouses, led the charge on the Hot Latin Songs chart for 56 weeks. Enrique Iglesias, Descemer Bueno, and Gente de Zona kept 'Bailando' at No. 1 for 41 frames. Iglesias claims two of the four biggest No. 1s of all time on the Hot Latin Songs tally, as his collaboration with Nicky Jam, 'El Perdón,' also managed 30 stays at the summit. Bad Bunny May Soon Pass Enrique Iglesias 'DTMF' is performing well across a variety of metrics, and there's a great chance that it will earn a thirty-first turn at No. 1 next week. If it does, Bunny will break his tie with Jam and Iglesias and solely claim the third-longest-running champion of all time on the Hot Latin Songs tally – but he still has months to go before he ties for second place. Bad Bunny's 16 No. 1 Smashes 'DTMF' is one of Bunny's 16 No. 1s on the Hot Latin Songs chart, and it's his longest-ruling track. Taken from his most recent album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, it earned that distinction about a month ago when it broke out of a tie with 'Dákiti,' a collaboration with Jhay Cortez, which lived at No. 1 for 27 frames. A Top 10 Hit Across Several Billboard Charts At the moment, 'DTMF' appears on four of Billboard's Latin rankings, and it's a huge hit across all of them. In addition to the Hot Latin Songs chart, 'DTMF' also leads the Hot Latin Rhythm Songs ranking again. Bunny keeps his cut at No. 2 on both the Latin Streaming Songs and Latin Digital Song Sales rosters as well.

Jhoan Duran steals show with entrance, save in Phillies debut earning praise from Middleton: "Welcome to Philadelphia"
Jhoan Duran's entrance may have been longer than his ninth inning. A sight to behold, Duran came out to his viral music from the bullpen. The bell from the undertaker set the tone, followed by the custom mix of two popular Latin music tracks: "El Incomprendido" by Farruko and "Hot" by Daddy Yankee and Pitbull. The sellout crowd at Citizens Bank Park couldn't contain the excitement with the Phillies holding a 5-4 lead. As the stadium went dark, the phones came out and the lights began to flash. The stage was set for Duran to nail down his first save in his Phillies debut. It didn't take long. "I threw four pitches," Duran said. "It was great. Easy work." Those four pitches were all splitters as Duran finished out a Phillies comeback victory over the Tigers to take the series opener -- and regain first place in the National League East. In one of the most electrifying games of the year, Duran stole the show in his debut. Four splitters: 98.4 mph, 99 mph, 99.7 mph, 98.8 mph. Strike, pop out, ground out, line out. Ball game. "I haven't thrown my fastball yet," Duran laughed. Duran capped a long day with the easy save, but it was a whirlwind of his first day in Philadelphia. He left Minneapolis at 3 a.m. on a flight to Philadelphia and admitted he tried to sleep in the hotel, but couldn't sleep in the hotel because his newborn "had a lot of energy." He arrived at the ballpark around 12 p.m. and introduced himself to everybody before getting into his pregame routine. It wasn't a normal day at the ballpark, but Duran made it one when he entered the game in the ninth inning. This was exactly what the Phillies believed they were getting when they acquired Duran, as the newest closer was getting a congrats from owner John Middleton immediately after the game. His words to the new acquisition? "Welcome to Philadelphia." Duran couldn't have made a better first impression in a Phillies uniform, giving the organization a reminder of what the scene could be like come October. It will be difficult to beat the Phillies in the ninth inning with Duran on the mound. "It looked good from the locker," said Bryce Harper, who was ejected for arguing a check swing in the seventh inning. "We all know what it was like in Minnesota when he came in the game."
