When is the next episode of 'The Gilded Age'? Release date, time, more

"The Gilded Age" follows high society and the battle between "old money" and "new money" in 1800s New York. Spoiler alert: This story includes details from episodes of Season 3 of "The Gilded Age." Despite being somewhat of a melancholic affair, the wedding of the century went off without a hitch in Season 3 of "The Gilded Age". Gladys Russell (Taissa Farmiga) married the Duke of Buckingham (Ben Lamb) much to her mother's delight, who ignored her daughter's wishes, and the newlyweds immediately set sail for England. Jack (Ben Ahlers) meanwhile, becomes almost as rich as his employers after Weston (John Ellison Conlee) buys the design and the patent of his clock for almost $600,000 and Agnes (Christine Baranski) and Ada (Cynthia Nixon) continue to clash over Agnes' spending in addition to Agnes finding out about Ada's meetings with Madame Dashkova (Andrea Martin). "The Gilded Age" follows high society and the battle between "old money" and "new money" in 1800s New York. From "Downton Abbey" creator Julian Fellowes, HBO's lavish period drama returned for its third season on June 22 to record-high viewership. About 2.7 million U.S. viewers tuned in across platforms within the first three days of the season premiere, HBO said. In the new season, the old guard is losing its powerful grip following the Opera War, while the Russells "stand poised to take their place at the head of society," according to the season synopsis. "Bertha sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights while George risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionize the railroad industry — if it doesn't ruin him first," the synopsis says, adding "across the street, the Brook household is thrown into chaos as Agnes refuses to accept Ada's new position as lady of the house." "As all of New York hastens toward the future, their ambition may come at the cost of what they truly hold dear," it concludes. 52 days until the Texans' 2025 season opener: Who has worn No.52

The Houston Texans are less than 100 days away from kicking off the 2025 season in Los Angeles against the Rams at SoFi Stadium and we're counting down the days until a victory ensues on the west coast. Texans Wire will each day tell you which player has worn the number of the day leading up to kickoff and pick the player who ensured the number best during their time at NRG Stadium. As for today, let's take a look at who has worn No. 52 since the inaugural season in 2002. Texans players to wear No. 52 No. 52 currently belongs to new defensive end Darrell Taylor. After a promising season with the Chicago Bears, Taylor inked a one-year, prove-it deal with Houston as a potential No. 3 option on pass-rushing sets. Houston already has its two stars with Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, but Tayor and Derek Barnett could compete for playing time throughout fall camp. Over his career in Chicago and Seattle, Taylor has racked up 24.5 sacks, 22 tackles for loss and 43 QB hits. He's a rotational option, but the upside in the pass-rushing department offers the Texans another punch to a promising defensive line in what could be a record-setting season at NRG Stadium. Since Taylor is new and technically hasn't worn the jersey in a game, he can't be the G.O.A.T. of the jersey. So, who is after two decades of play? The Texans have options at center following inconsistent play in 2024, so Patterson will need a promising camp tpo prove he's the right option past this upcoming a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle Best Player: Jonathan Greenard Does recency bias play a role in this selection? Sure, but Greenard's peak as a rising stud off the edge makes him a more valuable option for the title of G.O.A.T. than a special-teams standout like Peters. Afrer a promising second season, Greenard was expected to take a substantial jump forward under Lovie Smith, an injury sidelined him for half the season. In DeMeco Ryans' defense, the 2021 version of Greenard reappeared as the anchor for the Texans' front seven. Will Anderson received national praise and accolades en route to winning Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, but Greenard was the more productive option, totaling 12.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss. Greenard inked a massive four-year deal with the Vikings the following offseason and has continued his reign as a rising pass-rusher in the NFC. The Texans miss his impact, but also lucked into landing Pro Bowler Danielle Hunter, who put up similar numbers after leaving Minneapolis en route to helping Houston secure a second AFC South title. If Greenard stuck around Houston, he wouldn't just be the best player to wear No. 52. There's a chance he'd be the second-best defensive end in franchise history behind J.J. Watt.

Ranking the 25 best Oregon Ducks since 2000: No. 14 — Walter Thurmond III

Over the last 25 years, the Oregon Ducks have been one of the single best teams in all of college football, sitting near the top of the sport for the better part of a quarter-century. Since 2000, Oregon has compiled an overall record of 239-83 (.742), with just two losing seasons during that span. They've been to 24 bowl games, won three Rose Bowls, been to a pair of College Football Playoffs, and appeared in two National Championships. They've seen a Heisman Trophy winner in Marcus Mariota and had 99 players selected in the NFL Draft. It's safe to say that when looking at the nation's best in this millennium, Oregon belongs in the conversation. But who are the players who helped get Nike University into that conversation? That's a different question entirely. To celebrate the quarter-century mark, we're going to dive into that question over the next month as we approach the start of the 2025 season. The Ducks have had hundreds of memorable and beloved players over the years, many of whom will live on forever in some way. But who is the best of the best? Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle That answer, of course, is subjective. When reviewing the numbers and conducting our research, we took several factors into account: career statistics, overall impact and success, legacy, fan adoration, and NFL success. Boiling 25 years of Oregon football down to 25 players is no easy task, and not one that we took lightly. Dozens of players were left on the cutting room floor who deserve a spot in the top 25, and at some point, subtracting names off the list started to feel like pulling teeth. But in the end, we were left with 25 players, whom we will honor over the next few weeks. If you want to catch up, let's take a look at how we've gotten to where we're at in the rankings: Today, let's continue with No. 15 — Walter Thurmond III Player Overview Walter Thurmond III's time with Oregon was very similar to Jairus Byrd, his teammate and fellow member of the D-Boyz. While he did not have a star ranking, he shined in high school as a two-sport star who was considered one of the fastest players in the state of California. Thurmond would immediately show the college world why they were foolish to pass over him, becoming a star with the Ducks. Walter Thurmond III Career Stats 41 Games — 253 tackles, 13 TFL, 12 INT, 3 TD Single Best Season 13 Games — 103 tackles, 8 TFL, 5 INT, 2 TD The star defensive back was productive during his entire college career, but his best work was done in his sophomore season. This is where the comparisons to Byrd begin, as Thurmond demonstrated excellent versatility in 2007, showcasing his impact in the tackling department, creating turnovers, and even scoring points himself. Historical Stats and Records Walter Thurmond III NFL Draft Thurmond's final two seasons in Eugene were injury-riddled, which tanked his draft stock considerably, falling to the fourth round where the Seattle Seahawks selected him with the 111th overall pick. Walter Thurmond III NFL Success Sadly, the success he had with the Ducks did not translate to the NFL as Thurmond retired after just six seasons. The one thing that did follow him to the next level was the injury bug, which is a major contributor as to why his professional career sputtered. Thurmond recorded just 160 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, and 3 sacks. But, the vast majority of those numbers were recorded in his final season, so his career ended with bubbling optimism. Walter Thurmond III's Lasting Legacy Walter Thurmond III is a name that could one day be lost in the annals of NFL history, but that can never nullify the impact he had at Oregon. He arrived on the scene at a time when a ton of other talented defenders peppered the Ducks roster and helped foster the culture that is in place today. One of the members of the legendary D-Boyz, Thurmond signifies a period of supremacy and defensive dominance that the people of Oregon will always carry with them.
