Broncos uniform news is coming soon

The Denver Broncos will have new uniform combinations in 2025. The Broncos unveiled a new uniform wardrobe last year, which included home and away looks, a beloved throwback design and an alternate uniform. Under the NFL's old uniform policies, Denver's ability to mix and match the threads was restricted. That's changing this season. 'I think I inadvertently broke some news with you guys at the league meeting in March around uniform flexibility, which we're certainly excited about," Broncos president Damani Leech said last week. "We'll be releasing our uniform schedule here shortly, and what you guys will see, what the fans will see, is greater combinations. "Certainly, the use of our throwbacks; we'll have the opportunity to wear that one more time if we want to, and then mixing and matching, particularly the helmets and the jerseys. That flexibility I'm excited to see.' Last season, Denver was only allowed to wear their alternate white helmet with the alternate navy jersey. If we understand the new policy correctly, the Broncos could, in theory, wear the white helmet with a white jersey and white pants for an all white-look (Christmas Day could be a good fit). Denver could also wear the white helmet with its primary orange jersey. The Broncos will also get a new look in two years as the NFL continues to unveil its new "Rivalries" series through 2028. As part of that series, Denver (and the entire AFC West) will unveil new alternate uniforms in 2027. While fans wait for that new alternate to arrive, they can look forward to more combinations with the existing threads this fall. Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X! Do Broncos fans want a domed stadium? Damani Leech weighs in

As the Denver Broncos consider the possibility of building a new stadium (they say no decision has been made yet), there has been speculation that the team could build a domed stadium to improve their chances of hosting a cold-weather Super Bowl down the road. When speaking to media members at training camp last week, team president Damani Leech was asked if he thinks fans would prefer an open-air stadium over a closed stadium. 'I think you're going to get a mix of reactions there," Leech said. "Our survey we did about a year ago got a lot of great feedback from our fans; we got great feedback from our partners and premium holders. When we get to that point [of making a decision], we'll dig back into that data, but we're far from designing anything at this stage.' Interestingly, Leech did not reveal what kind of feedback the survey got from fans about a dome. He did say he believes there will be mixed reactions on the topic. The Broncos have said they still haven't decided on if they will stay at their current location, and Leech discussed the status of Empower Field at Mile High last week. 'Our lease ends in 2030, and that's certainly a mile marker we're taking into account," Leech said. "That being said, as you know, our ownership group has done a tremendous amount of resource commitment to the stadium. The Metropolitan Football Stadium District has been great partners. We feel like the stadium is really in great shape. That being said, in five more years, our lease will be up and it'll be a 30-year-old stadium. "On a macro level, you look around the league, what's happening: Stadiums built in that era, some younger, are either being built new or taking on significant renovations, you look at Carolina and Jacksonville. So that's certainly something we're thinking about. We're also thinking about this in terms of the next 30 years and what we'll need to serve our football program, but also our fans.' It typically takes about four years to build a new NFL stadium, and the team has six more seasons on its lease at Empower Field at Mile High. So the Broncos still have some time before they need to make a decision. The wait for an announcement continues. Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X! Broncos' new facility should improve 'F' grade in NFLPA poll

When the NFL Players Association released their annual Team Report Cards earlier this year, the Denver Broncos came in ranked 17th out of 32 clubs. Not terrible. But also not great. The team's ownership group wants to be great across the board. It's no surprise that ownership received an "A" grade, but there's room for improvement elsewhere. The team's food and dining area received a "B+" grade, and the weight room and training room got a "B." The team's treatment of families received a "C-," and the locker room at the club's facility got an "F." Those grades should make big leaps after the team's new facility is complete. 'It's not the only input that we look at, but it's certainly important to listen to it," Broncos owner/CEO Greg Penner said of the NFLPA grades at the NFL's annual league meetings in March. "We learned some things last year. We made some changes. We added the family [room] inside the stadium so players' families have a place before, during and after games if they want to be in there. There are still some things in the survey that we know we need to address. "I think our worst grade was on the locker room. That will be addressed with the new training facility that we're building. It's always good to get feedback, and I'll have some conversations with players as follow-up just to see if there's something out of that we should also learn more about.' It will be fascinating to see how the grades change after facility construction has completed. "We know how they feel about the locker room at the training facility," team president Damani Leech said in March. "Hopefully they look across the practice field and see the steel going up and know that our intent and what we're trying to solve for there." Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X! Damani Leech says Broncos have made changes that take 10 years for other NFL teams

The Denver Broncos have undergone several major changes since being purchased by the Walton-Penner family in 2022. Under the new ownership group, the Broncos have secured a new head coach, a new quarterback, new uniforms, an upgraded stadium and a new facility (coming soon). They are also exploring the possibility of building a new stadium. Those are big changes made in a short period. 'Three seasons in, and for me it's been great," Broncos president Damani Leech said at the NFL's Annual League Meeting in March. "It's been transformative. If you talk to people who've been with the organization for a longer period of time, the things that we've done in a two-and-a-half-year period a lot of clubs around the league get done in about a 10-year window. So it's been quite a sprint, whether that has been stadium renovations, uniform re-launches [or] the new training facility that's underway, a lot of things we're doing. "In addition to that, just what we're doing culturally from a business standpoint. The rigor that we're putting into the decisions we make, the use of data and all of those things is pretty special. It's fun to be a part of.' On the business side, Denver recently hired Daniel Brusilovsky as its new chief technology officer. He will help the club continue to enhase fan and consumer experiences. Above all else, though, winning is the best business strategy for NFL teams -- regardless of the uniforms, stadium or marketing decisions. 'Good football is good for business," Leech said. "I think everybody in the building agrees with that. That starts with ownership. It starts with their mindset of this being a football-first franchise. We talk about it being the best place to play [for], work [for] and cheer for, but it starts with play for. "We very much think about it from a business standpoint, what can we do to make us successful on the field? What are we doing to help us get a win and help us win a Super Bowl? We talk about that. Regardless of the department you're in around the company and around the building, you should be thinking with a football-first mindset.' That football-first mindset has served the team's ownership group well, and the Broncos certainly appear to be trending up since 2022. After making the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2015 last fall, Denver will look to take another step forward in 2025. The uniforms have changed and the stadium might change, but the fans' desire to support a winning franchise will never change. Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X! Broncos president excited about possibility of stadium project

The Denver Broncos have not ruled out staying at Empower Field at Mile High, but there has been widespread speculation that the club will ultimately decide to build a new mega stadium that will attract future events like the Super Bowl. The Broncos have not made any announcement yet -- speculation of a new stadium is merely speculation -- but team president Damani Leech has admitted the thought of a new stadium project does excite him. Advertisement 'I love this role, and I love this job," Leech said in March. "Part of what I love so much about it is making things better. Not just for myself, but for our staff and also for our fans. A stadium is a signature opportunity and moment to do that and be a part of it. "You talk to other colleagues who've been involved in stadium projects, and they talk about it. It's transformational for their career. It's a special moment. Given the life cycle of a stadium, you're lucky if you get a chance to be a part of it just once in your career. So that alone is pretty exciting.' The team's current stadium lease runs through the 2030 season, and it usually takes about four years to build a stadium. So if Denver opts to build a stadium from scratch, a decision might arrive soon. Leech will be eager to be at the forefront of that project, should the team decide to take that step.
