Holly Willoughby looks loved-up with husband Dan Baldwin during family day out to the park

HOLLY Willoughby held hands with her husband Dan Baldwin as they looked loved-up on a family day out to the park. The blonde beauty has been keeping a low profile of late since losing her spot on two TV shows. 4 Holly was pictured today with her producer hubby looking carefree as she cut a casual figure in baggy jeans and T-shirt. The couple - who have been married since 2007 - went for a walk around Richmond Park in London with their three kids this weekend. It's the first time the partnership have been photographed for some time following a turbulent year for the presenter. After stepping down from This Morning in October 2023, Holly recently lost another primetime role with ITV 's cancellation of Dancing on Ice. Her Netflix reality show, Celebrity Bear Hunt, is also facing the axe - with a second series yet to be approved despite several meetings. The triple blow means the mother-of-three is currently without a regular presenting gig for the first time in over 15 years. Holly, 44, was notably absent from the TV Baftas this year - despite her husband Dan in attendance. He is the founder of Hungry Bear Media, the production company behind several BAFTA-nominated shows including Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad. Despite stepping away from daytime TV, insiders say Holly has a "string of exciting projects" in the pipeline for 2025. It follows her hellish experience since being targeted by obsessed security guard Gavin Plumb, who planned to kidnap, rape and murder her. The mum of three's ordeal led to her quitting her presenting role on ITV1's This Morning and taking a break from the box altogether. She returned to screens for Dancing on Ice in 2024, joined by co-host Stephen Mulhern, and the duo teamed up for a short series reboot of You Bet! However, the ITV dance show has been "put on ice" once again. And Stephen will go on to host a full run of the challenge show solo.

Record Breakers icon Cheryl Baker, 71, addresses the show's comeback after 24 years off air - as she takes swipe at 'ageist' TV industry

Cheryl Baker has weighed in after it was revealed children's TV show Record Breakers is making a comeback after 24 years. Cheryl, 71, previously hosted the show for 10 years alongside Roy Castle, between 1987 and 1997, and has said she would love to feature in the reboot. The singer - who won Eurovision with her group Bucks Fizz in 1981 - took a swipe at how the TV industry is 'ageist' because she doesn't think she will be asked to return. Cheryl told The Sun: 'If they wanted someone to be, not necessarily a presenter, because there's always somebody younger than me. It's a very ageist industry in television. 'But it would be nice if they had me as a roving reporter or something like that. So that would be nice but no one's spoken about it so I doubt it's going to happen.' It's thought that Holly Willoughby 's husband, TV producer Dan Baldwin, is behind the reboot. It now has the title World Record Breakers: The Rivals, but Cheryl says the show 'needs to be jazzed up,' and 'needs to be more exciting than it was.' The TV star also confessed that it's still difficult for mature women to land a mainstream gig on the telly. Cheryl says there's a lot of people out there like herself with 'an awful lot of experience they don't get the opportunity anymore.' She added it 'would be nice if it's changing to include all ages and all nationalities.' It comes after the Eurovision winner claimed that the contest has become 'too sexual' and is no longer suitable viewing for children. Cheryl complained the contest has 'gone too far' in recent years, with 'body parts all over the place'. The singer became famous for her risqué skirt ripping routine during the band's winning performance of Making Your Mind Up. But Cheryl insists the song contest is now too 'extreme' and that this year's UK entry, Olly Alexander, failed to impress because his performance was 'suggestive'. Eurovision winner Cheryl has claimed that the contest has become 'too sexual' and is no longer suitable viewing for children (Olly Alexander for the UK this year) Olly, 33, performed his raunchy track Dizzy in a neon-lit bathroom surrounded by shirtless male dancers, dancing provocatively in red shorts and leather cod-pieces. Cheryl has argued the reason the public didn't vote for Olly was due to the 'suggestive' nature to his performance. She said: 'If I had to put my finger on why the public didn't like Olly Alexander's routine and why he got 'nul points' in the public vote, it would be because it was quite suggestive - which is in keeping with Eurovision becoming very sexual and extreme in recent years.' She complained: 'There are body parts all over the place in many of the acts. I think it's gone a bridge too far and everybody needs to address that next year. 'Friends of mine, who are very well respected in the music industry, said they couldn't let their grandchildren watch it because it was too sexual and I take their point. 'I think it's gone too far. Would I have let my children watch it when they were young? Probably not.' Olly ended up in 18th place out of the 25 acts in the grand final in Malmo, Sweden, a far cry from 2022 UK entrant Sam Ryder, who finished runner-up to Ukraine with his hit song Spaceman.

Record Breakers legend break silence on show's shock return as she hits out at ‘ageist' TV industry

A RECORD Breakers legend has broken their silence after it was revealed the iconic television series is returning - 24 years after it last aired. Cheryl Baker, who hosted the show for 10 years between 1987 and 1997, has revealed she'd love to feature in the reboot. 4 4 We exclusively revealed that the programme, which now has the working title World Record Breakers: The Rivals, is being modernised by Holly Willoughby's husband Dan Baldwin's production company, Hungry Bear. Speaking exclusively to the Sun on behalf of Heart Bingo, Cheryl, 71, said: "I would love to be a guest on that because I did it for so long. "If they wanted someone to be, not necessarily a presenter, because there's always somebody younger than me. It's a very ageist industry in television. "But it would be nice if they had me as a roving reporter or something like that. So that would be nice but no one's spoken about it so I doubt it's going to happen." Hungry Bear has had great success rebooting Gladiators, which is once again a Saturday night force on television. And Cheryl sees no reason why Record Breakers won't match it with a few tweaks to the format. "It needs to be jazzed up," she said. "It needs to be more exciting than it was. "But definitely I think there's a place for a programme like record breakers again. It just needs to come into the 21st century." In recent years, the likes of Angela Rippon, 80, Debbie McGee, 66, and Michaela Strachan, 59, have excelled on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing On Ice, respectively, proving mature women can more than hold their own on primetime telly. But while she's hopeful of change, Cheryl believes it's still difficult for for women of a certain age to land a mainstream gig on the box. Bucks Fizz legend Cheryl Baker tells The Sun about being 'totally broke' and says I even have to grow own veg She said: "There's a lot of people out there, like me, that have got an awful lot of experience and they don't get the opportunity anymore. "But it would be nice if it's changing to include all ages and all nationalities. It would be nice if it was like the Eurovision Song Contest and it included everybody." Roy Castle was the original Record Breakers host when it launched in 1972 and worked on it for two decades, before Kriss Akabusi replaced him in 1993. The programme showed people trying to break British and world records and featured interviews with champions. A TV source recently told us: 'Record Breakers was an incredibly successful format, running for three decades and garnering millions of fans of different generations. 4 4 'It worked so well because it could feature record attempts ranging from feats of bravery and impressive sportsmanship through to the downright mindboggling. 'And the spirit of the show remains strong. 'Every day the TikTok generation are doing pranks and stunts online so it feels like a no-brainer. 'It is also incredibly family-friendly so would be ideal for that primetime Saturday spot. 'It's very early days, with the show in development, so no channel is yet officially attached nor any celebrities in the frame as host.'

Holly Willoughby snubs BAFTA TV Awards as she's left without an ITV show for the first time in 21 years

Holly Willoughby snubbed the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards on Sunday night after being left without an ITV show for the first time in 21 years. The presenter, 44, who usually attends the ceremony, was no where to be seen at London's Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall. Holly fronted This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield from 2009 until 2023, and also helmed Dancing On Ice from 2006, until it was axed in March. There has not yet been any public news of her having signed on to another project with the channel. Her husband Dan Baldwin however was present at the BAFTA Television Awards, although he was not pictured. He founded Hungry Bear Media in 2014, and it has become one of the UK's most successful production companies, making programmes including Michael McIntyre 's Big Show - which was nominated at the event. Last month, Holly shared a gushing tribute to Dancing On Ice and thanked all who worked on it in the past 19 years - however, she notably failed to mention Phil, whom she hosted the show with for 13 years. Alongside a plethora of snaps from her time hosting the ITV programme, Holly penned: 'A huge thank you to @itv, The brilliant team, Crew, Celebrities and Everyone who has been part of our Dancing on Ice family over the last 19 years. 'Every year, just when January felt at its greyest, Dancing on Ice arrived like a burst of glittering, dazzling light, warm, joyful, and full of heart… 'It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside true national treasures Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, and to have a front-row seat to their breathtaking skating. Watching them glide across the ice was nothing less than pure magic… 'A special thanks must also go to Arnica, Deep Heat, Spanx and fake tan, unsung heroes of the rink! … I will miss it hugely, but I count myself so lucky to have had it for as long as we did. Finally and most importantly, thank you to you for watching, you're the BEST! …' While Holly featured a selection of photos which included her current co-star Stephen Mulhern, as well as judges Torvill and Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo, there were no images of Phillip, 62. The pair fronted the very first series of the programme in 2006 until 2012, when Holly took a break and was replaced by Christine Lampard. The series was then rested in 2014 and Holly later returned in 2018 alongside Phillip when the series was revived. Holly shared a gushing tribute for the skating show last month and thanked all who worked on it - however, she notably failed to mention Phil, whom she hosted the show with for 13 years Phillip left ITV in 2023 following the revelation of his 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a much younger male colleague, with Stephen then stepping into his shoes. The former This Morning presenters' long-standing relationship crumbled in the wake of the affair in addition to Phillip's brother's trial for sexual offences, with the extent of their bitter feud exposed since Phil made his TV comeback in Channel 5 series Cast Away, in which he referred to Holly as 'one of the three s***s of showbiz '. Holly was ITV's Golden Girl for many years and carved out her place as the fan favourite face of its top shows including This Morning and Dancing On Ice. However, Holly now appears to be taking her TV career in a new direction as she is now without an ITV show following Dancing On Ice's axing. She recently dashed ITV's hopes that she would be their Saturday night star by turning down a lucrative deal to front game show You Bet!. ITV sources told the Mail she was 'busy with other commitments' after Holly branched out to host Celebrity Bear Hunt in her first big role away from ITV. It is the first time that Holly has not had an ITV show on her schedule for the first time in more than two decades after becoming the broadcaster's TV darling. She has long been a familiar face on both ITV and ITV2, hosting on shows including Surprise Surprise, Celebrity Juice, The Games, The Xtra Factor and I'm A Celebrity.
