Nic Nemeth Hints At Archer Influencing His Finishing Move

Nic Nemeth recently hinted at his finisher being influenced by the animated series Archer. Since his WWE release in 2023, Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, has reinvented himself in TNA. As Ziggler, he primarily used the Zig Zag or Superkick as his finishing moves in WWE. Now in TNA, he has rebranded his move and calls his new finisher 'Danger Zone.' Advertisement While answering fan questions on Twitter/X, Nic Nemeth was asked if the name Danger Zone was inspired by Archer as a reference to one of the show's famous catchphrases. Nemeth replied with a simple yet teasing response: 'Perhaps…' For those unfamiliar, Archer is a popular animated spy comedy series that ran on FX for 14 seasons from 2009 to 2023. The show often uses the phrase 'Danger Zone' to reference main character Sterling Archer's love of the 1986 song by Kenny Loggins, impending danger, and it is used as a running gag with Archer's Lana Kane. How did Vince McMahon react to Nic Nemeth's WWE World title win? Back in 2013, Nic Nemeth cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Alberto Del Rio, creating one of WWE's most memorable moments. His win got the loudest ovation of the night as he captured the World Heavyweight Championship. Advertisement Speaking on LiMPiN AiNT EASY w/ Timmy Baltimore, Nic Nemeth explained that multiple bosses, including Vince McMahon, told him he would never become World Champion. 'I was told I'd never be world champion to my face by every boss that there is, and then became world champion. I was told that I wouldn't win Money in the Bank, and even when we're down to it, they said it'll be you or Cody, and that was the night before.' 'And then the day of, Jamie Noble's helping us out. He's like, 'They might switch it while you're out there, I don't know.' I go, 'Go f**king head, I'm climbing that ladder. Even then, once I got the briefcase. The boss goes, 'You're going to lose even more now, but it's going to mean so much more when you cash in.' 'All this bulls**t ends, and you become our guy.' I was like, Whoa. okay, cashed in, greatest freaking moment, came to the back. I thanked everybody and Vince. And then Michael Hayes goes, 'Hey, go tell him thank you.' I'm like, 'I did.' He goes, 'Do it again.' 'Sir, thank you for this opportunity. I hope you heard that crowd. I'm here to do whatever the hell you want. I'm going to be your guy one way or another.' And it's something along the lines of, 'Yeah, you're just holding it for another month or two until we get Del Rio some sympathy, and then, uh, he's going to take it back.' The ridiculous flight trick that is curing people's anxiety

Whether you're a seasoned multi-centre trip flyer or a lover of the short-haul holiday, for many people, flights can be a source of stress and anxiety. For myself, there is something unnatural about being 40,000ft up in the air in a metal tube. But a new tip for nervous fliers has been doing the rounds online, and people claim it actually works. Posting on TikTok, a user known as @elenaarco1 claimed that she had such an extreme fear that before takeoff ,she'd have 'full-on panic attacks' and has had to get off a plane on several occasions. Elena said she'd tried every kind of calming method she could think of to ease her emotions, but to no avail — until she tried a 'ridiculous' tip. "I came across a video of someone saying they always listen to a song that feels way too ridiculous to crash to,' she explained in her video. "Ever since, every time the plane takes off, I put on Come On Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners and honestly it's helped more than anything else ever has." Thousands of people have commended the trick, with dozens confirming that they do it too whenever they are on planes. Recommended reading: A user named @francescalc12 replied: "Omg!! This is my turbulence song, I play it on repeat whenever I get scared.' While @danielleide2 shared: 'Party Rock Anthem does the trick." Similarly, @emilyjane__96 wrote: "I put Top Gun's Danger Zone on! Feels iconic on take off. "Try it, honestly! You won't regret it. Pure rush of adrenaline and reframes the take off in a positive way. Makes you feel like a sick fighter pilot."

Brooklyn Beckham gets back in the kitchen as the aspiring chef whips up pasta and sauce

Brooklyn Beckham showed off another cooking tutorial in an Instagram post on Wednesday. The aspiring chef, 26, who has been slammed in the past for his 'out of touch' recipes, got back to basics as he whipped up a vodka pasta dish with his hot sauce brand Cloud 23. The son of David and Victoria Beckham began by chopping up two red onions into small dices. He then smashed a glove of garlic before adding it along with the onion into a large frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil. Next, Brooklyn added some chili and tomato paste to the frying pan while a saucepan with water and salt heated up for the pasta. Using a large wooden spoon, he poured out a spoonful of vodka into the pan along with some cream. The aspiring chef, 26, who has been slammed in the past for his 'out of touch' recipes, got back to basics as he whipped up a vodka pasta dish with his hot sauce brand Cloud 23 He then mixed the contents until all combined before adding a few splashes of his hot sauce and three cubes of butter. Before adding the pasta into the pan with a dash of the pasta water, he seasoned the sauce with salt and pepper. He then plated up his creation, adding a final touch of parmesan cheese before digging in. Brooklyn captioned the clip: 'Alla vodka with @cloud23.' The cooking tutorial comes after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz hopped on a motorbike as they channelled his parents. The eldest Beckham son and wife Nicola, 30, took to Instagram on Monday to show off their splashy ride on a Ducati motorcycle. Nicola matched the bright red bike in a striking red, black and yellow leather jacket with a pair of leggings. Getting safety ready for the ride, she sported a motorcycle helmet as she posed with the bike surrounded by expensive super cars before jumping on to sit behind her beau. They then took off riding and Nicola shared a snap of Brooklyn's neck tattoo as she sat behind him on the bike. The couple's bike snaps were eerily similar to ones shared by Brooklyn's parents Victoria and David during a US road trip in 2022 - after come after Nicola stepped out in an identical leather biker jacket last year to one famously worn by the Spice Girl over 20 years earlier. 'I love you baby @brooklynpeltzbeckham,' Nicola captioned a snap of the pair on the bike together. The snaps were reminiscent of Victoria and David enjoying their very own 'Maverick moment' on a motorbike during their trip to the US in 2022. Taking to Instagram to share a clip of the ride at the time, as Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins played, Victoria nervously clutched onto her love as he zoomed off down the drive. She then filmed them as they rode along the winding roads and looked loved-up as they snuggled together while David beamed. Victoria penned in the caption: 'Our Maverick Moment!! @davidbeckham has been trying to get me on the back of his bike for years and finally I did it! It was so much fun!!' David also shared the clip to his social media, writing in the caption: 'My happy place!' The post comes after rumours of a rift between him and his parents, which was triggered by Brooklyn when he became noticeably silent on his former Spice Girl mother's birthday last week - a far cry from his usual sweet posts about her. Neither the former photographer nor his wife wished Victoria a happy 51st birthday, while David, Romeo and Cruz posted gushing messages. The Mail later revealed relations are said, once more, to be 'strained' between Brooklyn and Nicola, and his mum and dad. Instead, the young couple – who married in an eye-wateringly lavish wedding in Palm Beach, Florida in 2022 – chose to share pictures of their trip to the Coachella music festival in Indio, California. This wouldn't be the first time Brooklyn and Nicola have been missing on family occasions: they have been notably absent for numerous family get-togethers over the past 12 months. On May 2, David turns 50, and wife Victoria has been meticulously planning a top-secret trip to mark this milestone. Friends of the Beckhams have also claimed Brooklyn told his parents he will come, while they are said to also be 'expecting' Nicola to turn up. Yet doubts clearly remain: 'Both have very much been invited as much-loved members the family,' the friend said.

Victoria Beckham's mum takes savage swipe at Brooklyn's cooking tutorials amid family feud

Aspiring chef Brooklyn Beckham took to his social media page to share an instructional video on how to cook a vodka sauce using his brand new hot sauce, Cloud 23 Brooklyn Beckham's grandmother was quick to roast the aspiring chef after he posted a video of himself cooking pasta with a vodka sauce using hot sauce from his very own brand, Cloud 23. On his Instagram page, the 25-year-old showed a step-by-step guide on how to cook the famously simple sauce as he added a twist with his hot sauce. The star's grandmother, Jackie Adams, left a savage comment as she told him: "Even I could make that Brooklyn," along with a slew of kisses. Fans were obsessed with her response as one told her: "grandma roasting! [laughing emoji] kudos," and another one added: "respect!! He has to take it from you." ‌ ‌ Brooklyn's other grandma, Sandra Beckham, left a nicer comment for her grandson, posting: "Mmmmm that looks good." The star's latest post comes after he channelled his mum and dad with snaps taken with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham on a Ducati motorcycle. Both wore helmets for the snap. In another, Nicola posed solo on the red bike while rocking leggings. Brooklyn, 26, captioned the post: "My passenger princess x [motorcycle emoji] @usedbikesdirect." While some fans reminded them to put on proper riding gear, many complimented the stars, with one saying: "didn't know you ride! That's amazing," and another adding: "Lucky boy!" Nicola, 30, also shared similar model-like snaps on her page, all taken in a garage. Only one picture showed them riding around the neighbourhood as Nicola showed off Brooklyn's neck tattoo - which is of her eyes. ‌ "I love you baby @brooklynpeltzbeckham," Nicola captioned her photos. The duo's snaps were similar to the ones taken by Brooklyn's parents Victoria and David when they were on a US road trip in 2022. At the time, Victoria shared a clip of their ride as she added Kenny Loggins' hit song, Danger Zone, in the background. Victoria wrote in the caption: "Our Maverick Moment!! @davidbeckham has been trying to get me on the back of his bike for years and finally I did it! It was so much fun!!" ‌ David also shared a video on his page and said: "My happy place!" Brooklyn and Nicola's new snaps come amid a rumoured feud within the family. Meanwhile, there have been rumours that of a family feud after Brooklyn failed to publicly wish his mother a happy 51st birthday. Instead, he was partying at Coachella Festival with his wife and friends. Brooklyn shared pictures from his time at the festival but none of his family, who were all celebrating Victoria's special day.
