Hijacked, Humiliated and Exposed: Watch BLA's Stunning Video That Shreds Pakistan's Lies in Balochistan
New Delhi: Damning truth has emerged two months after Pakistan force-fed its narrative to the world. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a rebel group fighting for Balochistan's freedom from Pakistan's control, has released a 35-minute video – which demolished Islamabad's account of events surrounding the hijacking of the Jaffar Express on March 11. This was not a skirmish. It was a high impact and sophisticated operation – codenamed 'Darra-e-Bolan 2.0 – that sent a shockwave across the Pakistani establishment. With 450 people on board, the train was hijacked by BLA fighters who first blew up the rail tracks in Balochistan. They literally held Pakistan and its military establishment hostage during the two-day siege. More than 200 officials, who included personnel from armed forces, police and other government departments, were held hostage and the 'invincible' state was left scrambling in panic. Ever ready to paper over its failures, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), describing the incident a 'barbaric bloodbath', claimed the BLA rebels suffered heavy casualties. However, the recent video tells a completely different story. The clip reveals a disciplined, calculated and calm operation. It shows the storming of the train – from pre-mission briefings to combat training. The footage showcases the elite fidayeen unit of the BLA carrying out a textbook mission. Elderly, children and women passengers can be seen being safely evacuated – busting Pakistan's propaganda that the BLA acted indiscriminately. Echoing the determination and desperation of a people crushed under decades of Pakistan military oppression, the video starts with a powerful statement, 'Our struggle and war has come to a point where we are to take such critical decisions…. A gun is needed to halt the gun.' Monitoring: Baloch Liberation Army media #Hakkal published video of the #JaffarExpress Hijack (Operation Darra-E-Bolan 2.0)#Balochistan — Bahot | باہوٹ (@bahot_baluch) May 18, 2025 It was not a rhetoric. With every man briefed on his objective and positioning, the BLA fidaeen fighters being prepped for war. There were not just rogue elements; they were trained insurgents with a clear mission – deliver a brutal message to the occupying Pakistani state. Pakistan had claimed that the security forces killed 33 rebels during the siege – which ended in 30 hours. However, the BLA says it eliminated all 214 Pakistani military hostages who were captured during the hijack that is considered to be a devastating blow to Pakistan's credibility and control in Balochistan. The BLA doubled down while Pakistan tried to bury the operation under lies – showing messages, names and faces of its Majeed Brigade – which had carried out the attack. They emerged prepared for more, proud and defiant – far from being decimated. More than a documentation of an operation, the video footage is a public relations nightmare for Pakistan. It is a reminder that Balochistan is not silent and that the people of Balochistan are far from defeated. The footage is explosive, not just in content but in consequences, for a state built on militarised control, forced disappearances and censorship.

BLA Releases 35-Minute Chilling Jaffar Express Hijack Video, Threatens More Attacks In Pakistan
Two months following the sensational hijacking of the Jaffar Express in Balochistan, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has now come out with a 35-minute video explaining the operation, directly refuting Pakistan's account of events involving the March 11 hijacking. The video, published by the BLA's media division Hakkal, provides the first detailed visual report of the hijacking, operated under codename Darra-e-Bolan 2.0. The clip shows the time BLA militants detonated railway tracks and hijacked the Peshawar-bound passenger train that had more than 450 passengers onboard at the time. According to the BLA, its militants occupied the train for two days, holding over 200 Pakistani security personnel, including railway staff, hostage. The separatist outfit asserts that the operation was designed to inflict a heavy blow on what it termed the "occupying Pakistani state." #Breaking The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a 35-minute video documenting its attack and hijacking of the Jaffar Express train. Authorities also said they killed 23 soldiers, three railway staff, and five passengers. The newly circulated BLA video contradicted these allegations, featuring what it claims are coordinated movements by its combatants and low casualties on their side. The clip begins with a declaration from a masked BLA combatant, justifying the intention of the operation. "Our struggle and war has come to a point where we are to take such critical decisions," he said. "A gun is needed to halt the gun… Baloch young men have taken the decision today to attack the enemy without any hesitation." Videography also featured combat briefings, training scenes of the group's Fidayeen unit — the Majeed Brigade — and goodbye messages from its fighters. The BLA highlights discipline and readiness of its fighters, in contrast with the Pakistani Army's depiction of the operation as chaotic and indiscriminate. Notably, the video also depicted women, children, and elderly commuters being led out safely from the train, contravening Pakistan's allegations of brutality and indiscriminate violence throughout the siege. The video release is a break from BLA's visual propaganda, intended to reinforce its narrative and discredit Pakistan's narrative. The group reaffirmed its resolve to pursue the armed struggle for the independence of Balochistan, threatening Pakistani authorities that "they would not last long in Balochistan." The hijacking, one of the most prominent attacks in recent history, has once again raised concerns regarding security in the conflict-ridden region and indicated the increasing capabilities of insurgent forces operating in Balochistan.

The Baloch Liberation Army's media wing, Hakkal, that had hijacked the Jaffar Express train in Balochistan province of Pakistan, has released a video documenting its operation – codenamed Darra-e-Bolan 2.0 – in March 2025. Dozens of separatist Balochi militants blew up a railway track and lobbed rockets at the Jaffar Express, carrying more than 400 passengers. The video provides the first comprehensive visual account of the operation, contradicting official Pakistani claims and underscoring the BLA's control during the attack. The footage reveals BLA fighters executing what appears to be a coordinated clearance operation onboard the Jaffar Express train. It also shows passengers of the train sitting outside the train after the hijacking. A BLA fighter, delivering a statement in the video, underscored the motivations behind the attack, 'Our struggle and war has come to a point where we are to take such critical decisions.' 'Our young people are equipped to take such steps, for they are aware that except such decisions there are no other options left. A gun is needed to halt the gun. The sound that comes out of a gunshot may reach a point,' he said. He said, 'Baloch young men have taken the decision today to attack the enemy without any hesitation and care about their lives. Today if a son is leaving his father behind to sacrifice his life, so is a father leaving his son behind to sacrifice himself for the cause.' During the two-day incident, Pakistan Army spokesperson DGISPR had claimed that the BLA had suffered heavy losses – a claim the BLA has rejected. At least 21 passengers and four paramilitary soldiers were killed by militants who seized a train in Pakistan's Balochistan, a general said, declaring that the army operation was over. Army spokesman Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif told Dunya News TV that security forces killed all 33 militants present at the scene. Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar also confirmed that the 33 terrorists who held Pakistani citizens hostage have been eliminated.
