‘Super Six' poll promises superhit, says CM Naidu

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said the 'Super Six' set of poll promises made by the TDP-led NDA in the state was a 'superhit'. Addressing the gathering after hoisting the national flag as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, Naidu said that with a 94 per cent strike rate, Andhra people created a "silent revolution" and brought the NDA to power in the state in the 2024 polls. "The coalition government is a government for the poor. We are spending thousands of crores of rupees to raise the living standards of the people and uplift the poorer sections through welfare schemes," said Naidu. During the last one year, with focus on welfare, development, and good governance, the NDA government got great satisfaction in serving the people, he noted. "I am saying this today with humility and pride. The coalition government is offering unmatched welfare assistance. There is no obstacle to development. There are unprecedented efforts for good governance. This is a record. This is an all-time record," he said. "We have made our main election promises, the Super Six, a super hit. We have given a new definition to welfare governance by supporting ewvery community, every region, every family, and every citizen," he said. The Chief Minister said that technology was the game changer for the state. 'Efforts are on to attract investment and give boost to promote technology and industries in the state'. Chandrababu Naidu said the governments were not just about meeting the immediate needs of the people; they must also provide a golden future and create opportunities. 'For this, any government or leader must work with a vision.' Observing that the 'dream capital city' of Amaravati had been restarted with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naidu said the government was working towards shaping it as a world class capital. The Chief Minister recounted: 'In 1995, we spoke about IT, promoted it, and showed results. Today, in 2025, we are talking about a Quantum Valley and using AI in governance. We are bringing radical changes to public services using DataLake and AWARE. Amaravati will become the Quantum Valley of the country, like the Silicon Valley in the US. The Quantum Computing Valley services will commence from January 2026. IT and data centers are coming to north Andhra. We are bringing defence, space, aerospace, drone, automobile, and electronics industries to Rayalaseema'. Chandrababu Naidu continued: 'We are working for the development of all regions. We have introduced 6 new policies to attract investments in the IT and electronics sectors. Major IT companies like Google, TCS, and Cognizant have come forward to invest in Andhra Pradesh. We are establishing the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Amaravati. Hubs are being set up in Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram, Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Anantapur under a hub-and-spoke model.' 'We are establishing a 'Global Leadership Center' in Amaravati. We have extensively integrated technology into public administration. We have brought innovation to governance through WhatsApp governance 'Mana Mithra', providing 700 citizen services. I am reminded of the words of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, 'Society is the temple, people are the Gods'. We are following in his footsteps.' The Chief Minister highlighted the polices of the coalition government explaining the progress of irrigation projects, development of infrastructure, including ports, giving priority for education, medical and health, and implementation of NTR Vaidya Seva. He said that the AP government was working towards building 'Swarnandhra' as part of the Viksit Bharat -- the aim of PM Narendra Modi. Billing Polavaram Project as the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh, Naidu promised to complete it by December 2027. To make Rayalaseema fertile, Naidu said the state has decided to divert surplus Godavari water from Polavaram to Banakacherla, using only the water that would otherwise flow wastefully into the sea. The Chief Minister slammed the previous YSRCP government for allegedly pushing the state into debts. Naidu alleged that the previous YSRCP government destroyed the state over the past five years and tarnished the state's brand image. The state plunged into a debt of Rs 10.30 lakh crore, he said.

CM for deploying drones to curb pesticide use

Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has called upon the state's Drone Corporation to expand its services across the state. In this context, he emphasised increasing the use of drones in agriculture to significantly reduce farmers' resort to pesticides and fertilizers. Officials told him that 45 use cases for drones were currently ready. During a review of the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) center at the Secretariat here on Monday, he suggested using drones also for public health initiatives, such as controlling the spread of infectious diseases and those spread by mosquitoes. He directed officials to expedite the construction of a dedicated Drone City. At the review, he reaffirmed that, starting August 15, the state government will provide over 700 services to citizens through 'Mana Mitra,' the state's one-of-its-kind WhatsApp governance initiative. In this regard, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that all relevant departments work together to prevent any technical issues for citizens using the WhatsApp service. He emphasized the need to raise public awareness about the platform so that citizens can access government services without needing to visit government offices in person. It may be mentioned here that on June 2nd RTGS of Andhra Pradesh and the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR) signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for leveraging space technologies to facilitate real-time citizen-centric governance. The collaboration is expected to enhance RTGS's AWARE (AP Weather Forecasting and Early Warning Research Centre) platform with satellite imagery and scientific inputs across 42+ applications across agriculture, weather, disaster management and urban planning. AWARE integrates data from satellites, drones, Internet of Things, sensors, mobile feeds, and CCTV to deliver real-time alerts and advisories to citizens and the government via SMS, WhatsApp, media and social media. On Monday, the Chief Minister, during his visit, launched AWARE 2.0, a new version of the RTGS's AWARE division. He explained that the system can now predict rainfall patterns, track water flow from catchment areas into rivers, measure groundwater absorption, and provide real-time data to help departments manage water resources efficiently. He called for the use of technology to monitor village ponds and prevent water scarcity. Naidu also highlighted the potential of using CCTV cameras for more than just traffic and law enforcement. He suggested using them to monitor waterlogging during floods and cyclones to alert citizens and coordinate rescue efforts. He proposed using WhatsApp to send videos of traffic violations to citizens, promoting awareness, and deterring future offenses. Regarding the Data Lake project, the Chief Minister instructed that it be completed by November. He stressed the importance of using Artificial Intelligence to effectively utilise this data. He urged RTGS to collaborate with officials and secretaries from various departments to develop use cases based on available data. By integrating e-crop data with soil data, the government aims to create a system that helps farmers reduce fertilizer consumption. Naidu also called for a scientific analysis of the issues and developmental needs in the state's 175 constituencies. Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain, Deputy CEO M. Madhuri, and other senior officials attended the review meeting. IT and RTGS Department Secretary Bhaskar Katamneni provided a detailed presentation on the society's progress and performance.

700 public services will be available on WhatsApp from August 15, says Chandrababu Naidu

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that starting August 15, the government will provide 700 different public services through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance platform, enabling citizens to access services without visiting government offices. During a review meeting at the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) on Monday, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure smooth functioning of the WhatsApp-based services without technical glitches, and to launch awareness campaigns to encourage wider usage. As part of the visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated Aware 2.0, an upgraded RTGS module capable of forecasting rainfall and analysing real-time water data, including inflows into rivers, groundwater absorption, and optimal rainwater utilisation. In the meeting, Mr. Naidu issued key directives related to disease control, drone surveillance, technology-driven law enforcement, and early rainfall alerts. Take preventive measures to stop the spread of infectious diseases, with focus on achieving the zero malaria target. Use drones to identify hotspot areas, carry out rapid contamination control, and maintain continuous monitoring to deter rowdy-sheeters. Fully utilise technology to curb anti-social activities with an 'iron hand' approach. Deploy Artificial Intelligence to monitor wind quality. Predict heavy rainfall in advance and alert local irrigation associations and relevant engineers for preparedness, he said. Drone applications Mr. Naidu called for rapid expansion of drone-based services, with the Drone Corporation currently having 45 use cases ready. He emphasised deploying drones in agriculture to significantly cut pesticide usage, and in public health to control mosquito breeding and prevent disease outbreaks. The construction of a dedicated 'Drone City' should be expedited, he said. Data Lake Mr. Naidu directed RTGS to complete its Data Lake project by November and leverage Artificial Intelligence for effective analysis. He urged integration of e-crop and soil fertility data to develop district-specific recommendations that would help farmers reduce fertilizer use. Each of the 175 Assembly constituencies of the State should have a scientific analysis of development needs, he said. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, IT and RTG Secretary Bhaskar Katamneni, RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain, and Deputy CEO M. Madhuri, among others.

Sidetrade introduces first-ever AI Cash Collection Agent, autonomous and interactive

New AI-native agent shifts Order-to-Cash from smart automation to autonomous execution, live today throughout global finance teams Sidetrade, the global leader in AI-powered Order-to-Cash applications, has today unveiled a seismic breakthrough in enterprise finance; the world's first-ever AI Cash Collection Agent, operating live and autonomously from a digital standpoint. Powered by Sidetrade's Data Lake, the new Aimie orchestrates Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, executing phone calls, interacting with debtor clients, escalating and flagging issues or exceptions for human follow-up actions where necessary. Announced at the Gartner CFO & Finance Executive Conference today, this launch marks a decisive leap beyond automation. Ushering in a new era for CFOs, Global Business Services, and Shared ServicesIn the current economic climate, traditional financial systems, rule-based automation, large teams handling low-value calls, and follow-up email campaigns have all revealed their limitations. The race for competitiveness is not just won with automation. It is also won with speed, precision, and the ability to make sense of vast and fragmented data. Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), Global Business Services, and Shared Services leaders must accelerate cash flow generation, reduce operational overheads, and scale faster. Aimie is now agentic. Designed as an enterprise teammate, her first capability is being an autonomous Cash Collection Agent, trained on $7.2 trillion in payment experiences and insights from 40 million buyers worldwide. 'Simply put, Aimie does not wait for instructions,' said Rob Harvey, Chief Product Officer at Sidetrade. 'Aimie does much more than merely follow a script; she makes decisions. That's the real breakthrough. Agentic AI propels Order-to-Cash processes beyond automation into autonomous decision-making, unlocking new levers for sustainable financial performance. By combining human oversight with self-directed agents, we are creating an opening for more adaptive, scalable finance operations, where manual processes do not hold back growth.' Aimie's Cash Collection Agent is ready for deployment across Europe and North America: Autonomous outbound calling (first contact calls, follow-up calls, voicemail messages) with personalized dialogues suited to every situation; Outcome qualification with automatic case updates; Escalation when a material risk is detected. Unlike static bots, Aimie continuously learns from live outcomes, adjusts outreach strategies, and refines prioritization using predictive signals from Sidetrade's Data Lake. Championing consistency to elevate performanceEarly adopters are already experiencing real-world impact. 'What I love most about Aimie isn't the cost savings; it's her consistency,' said Stephen Dyer, VP Credit & Collections at OpenText. 'I manage 100+ collectors globally, and inconsistency is inevitable. Aimie guaranteed precise, repeatable execution which is a game-changer! She also helps to reshape the modern customer 360, enabling us to move past traditional customer experiences toward a data-driven, personalized relationship that can be replicated at scale.' Aimie empowers Sidetrade customers with distinctive capabilities: Rapidly learning a company's culture, products, and terminology, adapting communication in a way that feels native to their brand. Engaging in interactive, qualified conversations with thousands of buyers at scale, acting as a fully-fledged game-changer for managing massive SMB account portfolios, at low cost. Speaking up to 29 languages: allowing for seamless cash collection in local languages and contexts. Making 1,000 outbound calls daily, operating 24/5. Accelerating cash flow by scaling the most effective channel in collections: outbound calling. Aimie takes on the high-volume, low-value tasks that drain finance teams, automating repetitive work with consistency, wherever the geography. The results? Reduced administrative burden on accounts receivable, so talent can refocus on strategic impact. Speaking with early adopters, Harvey commented: 'They are not worried about a robot taking their job… because most of them already feel like they are doing the robot's job. Moreover, they are aware that if we fail to design an AI co-worker, tomorrow's finance will feel less human as they will be stuck talking to accounts payable robots instead of solving real strategic problems.' Building on CFOs economic environmentAimie's unique advantage is Sidetrade's Data Lake, which manages 10 payment events per second across one billion transactions, making it the largest real-time O2C behavioral database in the market. 'Aimie's intelligence comes from context-rich data, not just clever LLM's,' said Mark Sheldon, Sidetrade's Chief Technology Officer. 'Generic AI systems lack the contextual data needed to operate as domain experts. But Aimie does. With $7.2 trillion in behavioral payment signals, Aimie adapts with pinpoint precision, and she keeps learning. Finance departments gain access to a new resource: tireless and infinitely scalable.' Sidetrade has been training finance-specific models since 2015, with generative capabilities added in 2024. The AI Cash Collection Agent is part of a broader rollout of Sidetrade's new agentic AI, which includes purpose-built agentic functionalities for email auto-response, portal data extraction, and cash application exception handling. As an AI orchestrator, Aimie coordinates a team of domain-specific agents to run the O2C cycle autonomously. 'AI goes agentic,' stated Harvey. 'Each agent operates independently to process thousands of customer emails and payments per day. Together, they represent a step-change in how finance teams execute their O2C processes.' Sheldon concluded: 'Short-term, what companies need to define is the level of autonomy they are willing to delegate to agents, the role human oversight should play, and how best to optimize their resources in this new paradigm. Rather than giving in to fears around agentic AI or human replaceability, I encourage business leaders to rethink the role of people within organizations that fully harness this technological shift. The most forward-thinking leaders already augment operational efficiency while repositioning their teams toward higher-value, strategic work.'
