These two actors passed away on the same date but eight years apart (Screengrab) Sometimes people share the same birthday, might have same names but for someone to share a same death anniversary, is too much of a coincidence. Coincidence can be really twisted at times. There were two Bollywood actors who did not just share a great bond of friendship, but also shared a whole deal of unfortunate coincidences as well. These two actors are still remembered as iconic actors withs one iconic dialogues and characters to their name. These superstars have done few films together and reportedly were good friends as well. They are often spotted ta parties, events together. A coincidence that surprises people is that both of them ended their marriages in the same year and even died on the same date and month but different years. Their names are Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan Hit Bollywood Duo Vinod Khanna was a charmer during his days. People not just appreciated his acting but fans also swooned over his charm. He made his debut as a supporting character in Adurthi Subba Rao's romantic thriller Man Ka Meet produced by Sunil Dutt in 1986. After its commercial success, he got noticed and signed several projects establishing himself as a superstar. On the other hand Feroz Khan made a debut as the second lead in Didi in 1960. He worked both in front and back of the camera earning stardom for himself. Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan worked in several films together – Shankar Shambhu, Qurbani, Dayavan etc. Conincidently both the actors' marriage culminated in separation. Vinod Khanna married Geetanjali and after a few years of marriage, their relationship started getting sour. Eventually the couple decided to get divorced. Vinod Khanna divorced Geetanjali in the year 1985. But coincidentally, in the same year, Firoz Khan also divorced his wife Sundari and started a new life. In an unfortunate coincidence that both Feroz Khan and Vinod Khanna passed away on the same date, April 27th. Feroz Khan lost his battle with lung cancer in 2009, and Vinod Khanna passed away in 2017 after his fight with bladder cancer.

Vinod Khanna and Madhuri Dixit starrer 'Dayavan' was the talk of the town when the film released due to the intimate scene between the lead actors. Of course, the song ' Aaj Phir Tumpe Pyaar Aaya Hai ' also became hugely famous and is remembered till date. The song was also remixed for 'Hate Story 2'. But according to reports during that time, Khanna had lost his control during this intimate scene and continued kissing Madhuri even after 'cut'. Reports also suggested that he even ended up biting Madhuri who was just 20year old that time and left her uncomfortable. According to an article by Bollywood the shoot of 'Dayavan' took place in 1988 and that time, Madhuri was still very new, trying to make a place for herself in the industry. On the other hand, Khanna was a superstar. Several reports at that time suggested that Khanna kept kissing Madhuri for five minutes and bit her lips. The actress was left bleeding and couldn't stop crying after the shot. Khanna later apologised to her. Feroz Khan who was the director of the film was sent a legal notice to remove the scene after it stirred a huge controversy during the release. Madhuri also requested him to remove the scene. However, the actor, director paid Rs 1 crore to retain the scene in the film. It was being reported that Khanna had lost his control, even during a scene with Dimple Kapadia in another film. In an old interview, Khanna had admitted that he's no saint when it comes to women. He had said once, "Well, I was a bachelor, and I am no saint as far as women are concerned. I need sex as much as anybody else does. Without women we won't be here, without sex we won't be here, so why should anybody object to my being with women." Later, when Khanna was at the peak of his career, he took a break from movies and went on the spiritual path as he followed Osho Rajneesh .
