Days of Our Lives Recap: Hope and John Work Together to Give Bo a Chance at Survival
On today's Days of Our Lives recap: University Hospital – Kayla's Office: Marlena arrives and Kayla asks why she isn't home with John. Marlena says he isn't back yet. Marlena says John made a pit stop to help gain the drug to help save Bo. Kayla explains the entire situation and why they are simply trying to get a singular dose. She apologizes for the delay in John's return, but Marlena understands as she and John have the rest of their lives together. They both understand how their respective husbands have considered Bo a brother to them both. Flashback: Bo telling his sister she can depend on him for anything. In real-time, Kayla notes how many times Bo, John and Steve have stepped up to save their lives and provide the foundation for their families. Kayla thinks they are both so lucky to have them return and worries Bo won't be able to do so this time. Kayla encourages Marlena to head home to get some sleep but she's not willing to leave. She says she was so excited to see her husband come home. Kayla is certain John will get his mission accomplished and come home to the woman he loves. Hospital (unclear on location): Hope is at Bo's bedside, strokes his face, kisses him on the lips and wishes him a happy anniversary. Flashback to one of Bo and Hope's weddings and their amazing vows… In real-time, she says it seems like yesterday they had their adventures and wishes they could do it all over again. Just then, Ciara Alice enters and embraces her mother. Hope says Shawn Douglas will be their soon but makes no mention of Chelsea. They both admit how scared they are. Hope says the priest gave Bo his last right as but she thinks he's hanging on to give his family a chance to return. Ciara says Ben is at the hotel with the kids. Hope asks Ciara to sit with her father for a while so she can go elsewhere. Ciara begins to cry as she sits next to her father and says how strange it feels to see him in such a sedentary state. She would give anything to fix her father so they could get on their motorcycles or their boats and take on new adventures. She explains how Ben is a great father to Bo and Addie and how he makes her feel safe and loved. Flashback to Bo telling his daughter to hold on to her necklace and remember how much her parents love her (C'mon, Lauren Boles!!!). Ciara says they will be together no matter what. Afterwards, we see Bo walking in Horton Square, and he sees Tom and Alice's plaque. He has no idea with the hell he is doing there. Back at the hospital, Ciara Alice talks with Bo about all of his children. She says she didn't always do a great job of living up to her middle name. Ciara wishes she had realized sooner how blessed she was to be his daughter and to be a Brady. In Bo's mind, Bo wanders around and looks through the window of the pub. He sees Kayla and Steve eating and enters. Bo hears Steve and Kayla talking about him and then realizes they can't hear or see him. Suddenly, he is back outside and locked out of the restaurant. In real-time, Bo's monitors begin to go haywire and Ciara calls for help. She goes to his side and breaks down, begging her father to stay with them. The doctor stabilizes Bo and Ciara wonders where her mother could be. Random Alley: John arrives, and Steve introduces him to Dr Russell as their savior (the 'that's a fact' of it all killed me). Steve explains John is an expert as this kind of thing and insisted on showing up to help them. They discuss how they need to be ready for whatever comes next. Steve says the security system has a two-part security system, John can cover one part… and Hope enters saying she can cover the other. Hope cuts the wires which unlocks the doors. She tells Dr Russell to come with her and help locate the drug. Shawn Douglas is worried he will never get to say goodbye to his father. Steve knows he blames himself for his father's condition. That being said, he is counting on Bo to hold on and pull through. Warehouse: Hope, John, and Dr Russell enter and a person on the floor (Asher?) begins to rouse from an unconscious state. Dr Russell spots the Sepsis drug just as Asher jumps up and attacks Dr Russell. Hope grabs the drug as Asher wrestles with the good doctor and the room begins to fill with smoke. Asher, who seems to be high, pulls a knife and says he's going to kill them. John swings into action as flames begin to rise. Hope gets Dr Russell out and tries to go back in but the fire has engulfed the doorway. The fire fighters have now arrived and Steve and Hope are trying desperately to get to John but are not allowed. They tell the group of four they have found a body. The medics bring John out on a gurney and he is still alive. Dr Russell wants to take a look but is told to stand down. The medic indicates John is badly burned as the suit didn't protect him. Hope and Steve tell John he's going to pull through like he always does. Shawn Douglas looks down at John's open hand and realizes he secured one vile of the sepsis drug. He gives it to Hope and tells her to go save Bo. Horton House: Julie calls Hope and leaves her a message to wish her a happy anniversary. Later, Julie is pacing the floor looking at a picture of Bo and Hope. She flashes back to an earlier, happier time. She pulls down a picture of Doug and asks him to help Bo in anyway he can. University Hospital – Kayla's Office: Kayla takes a call from Shawn Douglas and tells Marlena there's been an explosion. She says John has been badly hurt. University Hospital – Bo's Room: Shawn Douglas and Hope arrive to tell Ciara they secured the drug for Bo. They think it's the miracle they've been waiting for. Hope sits by Bo's side and tells him to fight. University Hospital – Lobby: Steve tells Dr Russell the man who attacked him is dead. He says John not only saved Dr Russell's life but also his life's work. Steve hands him vibes of the drug saying John protected them with his body. He tells the good doctor to continue his work because John put his life on the line to save his important drug. With that, Steve takes a seat and breaks down. University Hospital – John's Room: Marlena and Kayla are at John's bedside. Kayla says John inhaled a lot of smoke and has 3rd degree burns over 30% of his body. Marlena is in tears and says she called the kids who are on their way. She says she won't be leaving his side. Endings Julie takes a seat and wishes Doug a happy anniversary. She says she thinks of him every day and cherishes their love. She kisses the picture and pulls it close to her chest. Hope, Ciara and Shawn Douglas recite the Lord's prayer as the doctor administer the sepsis drug. Marlena knows John is exhausted but begs him not to leave her now. Steve enters and stands by Marlena's side. He says Stefano may have called himself the phoenix but had nothing on John Black. We now flashback to John's origin story, many of his identities and life-threatening adventures. With each heartbeat, we see a different flashback scene. In real-time, John whispers, 'I love you, Doc' to Marlena. As soon as he elicits the sentiment, the heart monitor flatlines. Kayla returns and says he's coding. Days of Our Lives Recap: Steve Asks The Big Dude Above to Save John
On today's Days of Our Lives recap: Kiriakis Mansion: Maggie sits down with a book when Xander walks in. She asks what he's doing sneaking around her house at that hour. Xander is confused as he thought he owned half the house. Maggie can't imagine Victor would want him there after beating the fool out of Philip. Xander says he's not going to fight her for this dump (He's not wrong. Can we please get an upgrade?). That being said, he is not simply going to forget he has a daughter. Xander tries to head upstairs when Maggie stop him. She says if Sarah decides she doesn't want him seeing Victoria, she will support her. Maggie tells Xander not to forget who she is. She managed to keep Victor Kiriakis in check whenever he acted a fool and won't hesitate to do the same to him. Xander is unfamiliar with this side of Maggie. She assures Xander he isn't the only one capable of rage. Unlike other folks, she is capable of keeping hers under control so she doesn't commit unspeakable acts. Xander thinks it's like Philip faking his own death and framing Brady for murder. Maggie gets it but reminds Xander that Philip wasn't in his right mind during that time. Xander can't believe Philip's actions are always excusable whilst he never receives the same grace. Maggie can't believe his audacity saying she can't believe he's forgotten the number of times she has forgiven his behavior, fought for him and Sarah, and given him the benefits of the doubt because he'd had a rough life. That grace is now gone. She says Xander made fools of both her and Sarah because he said he had changed his ways. For making her feel like a fool, Maggie will never forgive him. Xander asks Maggie if it matters what Sarah did to his heart. Maggie says she did nothing but love him (which isn't actually true). Xander says Sarah lied to him for months about Philip stealing half his inheritance and let him build a relationship with his brother knowing about the betrayal. Suddenly, he realizes Maggie knew about Philip's fraudulent actions, as well. She says she didn't know right away but eventually. Maggie says she supported her decision to keep the truth from him. Xander can't believe she stands there judging him when she and Sarah lied to him for months. Maggie says she was trying to protect him from himself. He has proven their worries were not unfounded. Xander swigs a drink saying there's no proof he did anything to his brother. Maggie says when Philip regains consciousness, she's certain he will tell the truth. Xander says IF he regains consciousness. Maggie think Victoria is better off having no father than one like him. She bars him from going upstairs saying he's not seeing Victoria and the staff will deliver his things to his old apartment. With that, she heads upstairs to tend to her granddaughter. Before she leaves, Maggie tells Xander he is never to return to the house again. University Hospital – Lobby: Sarah is looking at a picture of Xander when Belle, Brady and Paul approach to see John. Belle asks about his condition and Sarah says Kayla is in charge of his case and can update them Just then, Marlena walks out and says their father is alive. Words begin to fail her, and Brady walks over and embraces her (I'm crying already). Kayla gets a pulse and says John is back. Marlena is back at John's bedside and Kayla tells her they will do everything they can for John. Marlena thanks her and Steve for all their love and support. Steve tells John to hang in as he has a lot left to do. Marlena sits down with the kids and says they need to find a place that's less public. Belle suggests they go to the chapel together. Marlena asks for a few minutes alone before they join her. Kayla approaches Sarah and asks if she is ok. Sarah explains about the fight with Xander and how she kicked him out of the house. She stops Kayla and asks about John. Kayla explains how bad John is and the recent cardiac arrest. He risked everything to save Bo and now she's scared he won't make it. Sarah brings Brady some strong coffee and says Kayla updated her on John's condition. He asks about Philip and Sarah says they are hopeful he will come out of his coma, but his injuries are quite severe. He tells her about his last encounter with Philip and wonders how he is getting along with Xander and what went wrong. Brady knows better than anyone what happens when Xander sees red. He wonders if Xander was responsible for Philip's beating. Sarah says she's not ready to talk about it and decides to go check on Philip. University Hospital – John's Room: Steve and Kayla sit at John's bedside. She asks her husband about getting the drug to Bo. Steve confirms saying before they went to the lab Dr Russell promised to give Bo a dose of the Sepsis drug without going through the FDA. When John recovered it, Shawn Douglas and Hope took it directly to Bo's rehab facility. Kayla is in tears when she says she hopes it works. Steve says if Bo survives, it's all because of John. University Hospital – Chapel: Marlena talks to God saying she's been asking a lot of him lately. She says how grateful she is for John's return but is there now to ask for a miracle. John has risked his life for her so many times she can't count. She says he is more than a hero to her as he has saved her very soul. Flashback: MarDevil is choking out John when he calls upon God to help him. Marlena says she and John have survived so many villains, even the devil himself. She believes John is the best man she has ever known. Marlena asks the Lord above to help John fight and recover. University Hospital – Philip's Room: Xander walks in and finds Sarah. He says he's there to check on his brother. She wonders if he came to finish the job and says she's calling security. Xander thinks she is being hysterical but Sarah is done saying she can't deal with anything else today. He inquires and Sarah says John almost died after trying to retrieve the drug Philip took. She says John and Philip are lucky to be alive and Xander is at the center of it (Is that really a fair statement?). Xander thinks she should expand her scope and blame him for everything under the son. Sarah explains Philip was trying to steal the drug to make amends with Xander and to save Bo's life. He was supposed to meet his friend to pick up the drug but couldn't because Xander was roughing him up. Had he met his friend, John would never have been in the lab and exposed to the explosion. Xander says he will take the hit but says she should take some blame, herself. If she had told him about Philip and the forged letter months ago, Philip would have been out on his ass and this entire mess could have been prevented. Sarah can't believe what he's saying and tells him to go or be thrown out (Ok, I get what Sarah is saying but everyone blaming Xander for everything seems very short-sighted). University Hospital – Lobby: Paul sits with Brady discussing all the moments he was unable to share with their father. He talks about how all his half-siblings had so much time with their father to share in all kinds of moments while he has been trying to catch up over the past few years. Flashback: John joins Paul in Seattle to celebrate Pride. Paul says not every kid like him has such a supportive parent. John pulls him in saying how proud he is of his boy (John Black Pride King!). Brady says they all hit the lottery when they got John as a dad. Paul breaks down saying that's what makes the situation so difficult. With that, Paul exits. Xander approaches Kayla at the Nurse's station and asks if the Sepsis drug was harmed in all that happened earlier in the day. Kayla says it's not a good time, but he thinks he deserves answers about the drug he was accused of stealing. With that, Kayla exits and Steve blocks him from following. Belle approaches saying she knows what he did to Philip. Xander says she knows nothing except how she defended Philip when he defrauded him out of his inheritance. Belle says she knew nothing when she represented him. Xander thinks she should be disbarred, and Belle thinks he should be in prison. She notes Bo, Philip and John might all be on death's door but thank goodness he can still possibly profit from the billion-dollar drug. With that, she exits. Steve asks Kayla about how she's doing with so many of her siblings dealing with injuries and disease. She says she has thought of John as her brother for four decades. Steve recalls a time when John was in a similar situation. Flashback: John (The Pawn) is wrapped in bandages as Steve visits him and says they can trust each other. Steve is in tears after the story and Kayla pulls him into a huge embrace. University Hospital – Chapel: Belle arrives to join her mother. Belle says John gave her medical power of attorney. Marlena doesn't want to discuss any of this mess. Belle reminds her how contentious things got the last time they had to deal with her power of attorney during a medical crisis. Flashback: Belle reminds John that Marlena signed a document saying she didn't want to be kept alive by machines and wants to tell Kayla. She says the law doesn't care about their feelings and says he doesn't have legal standing. John asks for a couple of hours but Belle says she has to act now. Belle says John didn't want to put Marlena in the same position. His directive says he wants to fight until the end and Belle thinks it's exactly what he's going to do. They both agree John is going to continue to fight to come back to them. Endings Paul tells Brady he and Andrew plan on getting married in Salem. Brady says when their dad wakes up, they have a lot to celebrate. Kayla joins Belle and Marlena in the chapel to let them know he's been moved to a room. Steve enters the chapel and asks the big dude upstairs for some help. He begins to break down in tears as he asks him to help his friend. Sarah returns home to find Maggie staring at the wall. She asks what happened and Maggie says Xander happened. They both look up at the spot where Victor's portrait hung and find it empty. Where is Abi Titmuss now? Star quit her lads' mag career in favour of quiet family life in LA with soap star husband
She was once one of Britain's most famous glamour models, gracing the covers of lads' mags and the first-ever series of Love Island back in 2005. But Abi Titmuss is living a very different life now than when she first found fame as a TV personality and Page Three girl. The 49-year-old, who grew up in Lincolnshire, now lives in Los Angeles where she is a married mother-of-one. Abi has largely retreated from public view in recent years in favour of living a quiet family life. From Celebrity Love Island to a stint on US soap opera Days Of Our Lives, MailOnline takes a look at where the star is now. Abi became a lads' mag favourite after her relationship with disgraced TV presenter John Leslie pushed her into the public eye. Indeed, at a time when they were flying off the shelves, she famously ranked seventh by FHM in their 2005 list of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World. Abi and John started dating after they met in a bar in Fulham on April 10, 1999. She was his girlfriend when he was charged with sexually assaulting another woman in 2003 and was subsequently cleared. After causing headlines while leaving court with John, Abi went on to feature on the front page of various lads' magazines - including Nuts, Loaded and FHM. She told Femail back in 2012: 'I didn't think I deserved the attention, so the more money I earned, the worse I felt. 'I could make £30,000 for a shoot but I knew how third-rate I was. I could feel my lack of discernible talent as though I was wearing it.' She later told the publication: 'Suddenly I was being offered a lot of money to do shoots. I thought I could handle it. But I couldn't. 'They created this caricature of a person that I didn't recognise. I was always the same Abigail inside. 'I studied Latin at school, I'm from a good family. But the image that was created was nonsense.' After going their separate ways around 2004, Abi then went on to work as a roving reporter for Richard and Judy, before appearing in a selection of reality shows - including Hell's Kitchen, Celebrity Love Island and Come Dine With Me. Later, Abi decided to focus on an acting career and took courses at the Central School of Speech and Drama. A short stint in theatre beckoned, where Abi bagged a Fringe Report award for Best West End Debut in Two Way Mirror, before going on to play Lady Macbeth in Lowestoft. After starring in Hotel Babylon and then Casualty in 2012, she fled to the States, changed her name to Abigail Evelyn, and in 2015 landed the role of Nurse Jackie in long running soap opera Days Of Our Lives. It was there that she met husband Ari Welkom, 41, an American rock star and actor, who rose to stardom in 2005 following his appearance in Brick, alongside Joseph-Gordon Levitt. She said that what attracted her to Ari, who plays Aldo in the soap, was his lack of judgement about her saucy former career. 'I wanted to meet somebody who didn't know anything about me so I would know 100 per cent in my heart this person just liked me for me and didn't have any judgement.' It was around this time Abi admitted that the arc lights of fame drove her into a suicidal depression that took years of therapy and a move to the other side of the Atlantic to break. Speaking of whether she actually considered killing herself, Abi told Mail Online in 2015: 'Yes, many times. It took me years of therapy to deal with the depression. It was a traumatic experience. I don't think it will ever go away.' Abi and Ari tied the knot in May 2017, and the media learned she was pregnant in January 2018, when the couple were spotted leaving the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. Following their exchange of vows, the blushing bride confessed to Hello! magazine that she was aware of the baby's presence during their big day. She told the publication: 'I was aware throughout our wedding day that there were three, not two, of us experiencing it together. 'The baby is able to hear now and it was lovely to think he or she could have been listening to us making our vows. 'When the harpist started to play, I could feel him or her moving around.' The news came after Abi, who previously enjoyed dalliances with David Walliams, footballer Lee Sharpe and actor Marc Warren, revealed she was 'ready to be a mum', in light of her engagement. It's not known exactly when Abi gave birth to her son but she was seen out with him for the first time in January 2018. Abi apears to have given up acting with her last credit on IMDB being from 2019. She has also gone quiet on social media, with her last Instagram post from 2021. Abi was most recent seen in April 2025 where she stepped out for an afternoon stroll with her husband and son in LA.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Kate and Roman Reveal Their Secrets and Lies
On today's Days of Our Lives recap: Brady Pub: Outside, Philip runs into Belle. She notes his good mood, and he says he's found a way to fix his situation with Xander. He tells her about the hospital purchase and how he learned there is more to the deal than meets the eye. Belle realizes Philip is going to try to help Xander without him knowing. With that, Belle exits. University Hospital – Kayla's Office: EJ arrives and asks about Xander wanting to buy the hospital. He wants to make his pitch first, saying he went over her head to secure a meeting. University Hospital – Sarah's Room: Sarah awakens to find Xander at her bedside. She says they need to have a chat about how he spoke to Felicity. He knows he owes her an apology. Sarah agrees and says he owes Cat an explanation, as well. Kayla arrives and asks Sarah how she's feeling. She asks her boss if she can leave early but is denied. Sarah asks Xander to head over to her office and grab her tablet. With that, he exits. Kayla says she's excited Xander is going to make a bid to buy the hospital, which stuns Sarah. Kayla says it's not a done deal as EJ is also making a bid. Sarah is clearly not thrilled to learn this information second hand. Kayla says she will work overtime to make sure Xander wins. Salem Inn – Johnny's Room: Paulina arrives and is happy Johnny and Chanel have reunited. However, before he moves home, they need to chat. Paulina knows Johnny loves and respect her daughter. That being said, it's hard for her to ignore how he hurt Chanel. If he hurts her again, his bridges are burned. Johnny tells Paulina he is trying to work on himself and mentions his upcoming therapy appointment and his new job with Titan/DiMera. He is trying to become more stable without actually working at his family's company. Paulina thinks the main reason he took the job was to stick it to EJ. Johnny admits Paulina is on target and it was satisfying to tell him about it. Paulina gets it but warns him the best revenge against your enemy is to not become just like them. Johnny thinks it might be a little late for that one. Paulina questions Johnny and he says he would never do the things his father did. That being said, he has been selfish and hurt the people he loves. Paulina notes Chanel has been worried he might have been the one who shot his father. Johnny knows but says he didn't do it. Brady Pub – Apartment: Roman tells Kate the night of the shooting he and Johnny were talking about EJ. For some reason, he mentioned the gun in the lockbox. Kate realizes the implications and wonders if Johnny took the gun and shot EJ. Roman says he hopped in his car and went to the DiMera estate. When Roman was ready to ring the doorbell, he saw his gun by a planter. He heard sirens approaching, grabbed the gun and made his exit. When he returned to the pub, he cleaned the gun and moved the lockbox. Kate says they still can't be certain Johnny is guilty since he was never confronted. Roman agrees with Kate but his gut tells him his grandson is innocent. Kate reminds Roman about Samantha Gene's suspicions, but he says he never told her about the gun. Kate asks if Roman is going to talk to his grandson and he says he will not be having a conversation with Johnny. He asks her not to say anything to anyone and Kate agrees. Kate says there is something she needs to get off her chest and tells him all about Victor's forged letter and the fallout. She tells him about the others who know and asks if he will stay quiet. Roman agrees and she apologizes for keeping the truth a secret. Roman says he wants them to share everything and Kate agrees. Horton Square: Cat and EJ run into each other, and she asks to have a chat. Cat asks why he bid on her for the auction. EJ says he wanted to go out with someone who didn't hate him which eliminated most everyone else. He makes a sarcastic note about their earlier connection which makes Cat want to leave. EJ apologizes and Cat sits back down. She knows what she did was unforgivable. He notes Chad forgave her and says he hopes they have a great time on their date. EJ tells Cat how much he loves his brother and hopes to be able to repay him saving his life. Cat chuckles and says there are so many stories around town about EJ which makes his gentle nature surprising to her. She thinks maybe he has some redeeming qualities (C'mon chemistry!). DiMera Mansion – Living Room: EJ hobbles in to find Belle on the sofa. He tells her about making the bid to buy University Hospital but says Kayla turned down his initial offer. He says his main intention is to help the institution that saved his life (LIES). She pushes for more details and EJ says he went over her head to the board. EJ is worried as Xander has also put in a bid. He needs Belle to help him secure a victory. EJ asks Belle to get all kinds of charming with the Board of Directors, starting with Brady. Belle isn't so certain it will work but agrees to try. With that, they kiss. Belle says she will still talk to Johnny, but EJ says they got into it earlier today and his son still wishes him dead. In addition, he's taking a job with Xander to spite him. University Hospital – Lobby: Xander runs into Cat and apologizes for how he spoke to Felicity. He asks her to speak with her sister, but Cat says that's his responsibility and he agrees. Cat says Xander doesn't understand how badly his words hurt her sister. He agrees and promises to do his best to make it up to Felicity. Cat hopes so as word has gotten out about him buying the hospital and it needs kindness and compassion to recover. Xander turns on Cat asking if those are the qualities she displayed when she pretended to be Abigail. Cat agrees what she did was awful and she is trying so hard to make amends and hope he does the same. Brady Pub: Roman and Kate run into Philip. He wants to talk to his mother and Roman makes himself scarce. Philip asks Kate if she can go to the board and get them to accept Xander's offer. He thinks it will help him reconnect with his brother. Kate agrees and they talk about EJ's bid and how he has scheduled a sit down with the board. Kate says if the board doesn't accept EJ's offer on the spot, it will disappear. She doesn't understand why anyone is making an offer as it's not financially prudent. Philip says he did a little digging and figured out there's a connection to a sepsis drug being developed at the hospital. Kate gets it and remembers sepsis is what Bo is dealing with, as well. Kate wants Philip to be successful but notes he doesn't know anything about pharmaceuticals. Philip reminds her of his childhood friend Kevin Lambert. She vaguely remembers and he says he just moved back to town and reached out for a job. Just then, Roman returns and says he needs Kate's help with a delivery order. She wishes Philip luck and says she will work on the board. After they leave, Philip looks up Kevin and realizes he is currently working in Dr Russell's lab. University Hospital – Sarah's Room: Xander returns with Sarah's laptop, and she asks why he didn't inform her about his offer to buy the hospital. Xander says he didn't want to jinx the deal. He lies a bit and says his motivation is solely to save Sarah's job. She wonders if it makes financial sense and Xander says it's the right move for the company. He says he intends to best EJ and come out the victor. Endings Cat gets a call from someone saying she got all ten of their messages. She says she is not interested and tells the person to stop calling her. Paulina begs Johnny to tell her the truth. He says he has wished his father dead but did not shoot him. She says she believes him and decides to let him get back to his packing. With that, they embrace but neither seems certain of their discussion. Belle tells EJ she doesn't think he is evil which relieves him. That being said, she doesn't think he is a total saint, but Belle does think EJ has changed. She hopes his physical and emotional recovery continues. EJ says, no matter what happens, his feelings for her will never change. With that, they kiss. Sarah and Xander finish up a call with Victoria. She notes how time is flying by with their daughter. Xander thinks maybe they should give Victoria a little brother or sister.
