‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Season 2 Reunion Announced
God (Hulu) has answered my prayers (angry demands). We're getting a Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2 reunion. And the first look photos are already causing drama. Hulu announced the reunion on Thursday, June 5, less than a month after season 2 premiered. 'After a shocking end to season 2, host Nick Viall reunites all of #MomTok and #DadTok to uncover secrets and scandals, never-before-seen footage, and a surprise announcement in the first-ever reunion special for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,' reads the press release. But who is 'all of #MomTok'? Based on the first look photos teasing the reunion, it looks like Taylor Frankie Paul, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Whitney Leavitt, and Miranda McWhorter will all be in attendance. As for their group nemesis Demi Engemann, she's nowhere in sight. Could this mean she's done with the show for good? Demi's absence shouldn't come as a huge shock. She stormed out of a #MomTok meeting in the season 2 finale after failing to kick Taylor out of the group, saying she needed a break. But is Demi really done with #MomTok, or could she return? Before you read too much into her absence, it's important to note that Whitney, who last we saw was newly voted back into #MomTok, is taking part in the reunion, as is Miranda, who has yet to be voted on at all. So it looks like despite her #MomTok status, Demi made a conscious choice to skip the event. Read into that what you will... Meanwhile, most of the #MomTok husbands and/or partners will also be participating. A sneak peek at the reunion shows six of the #DadTok members sitting in chairs behind the main cast, including Taylor's ex Dakota Mortensen, Mayci's husband Jacob Neely, Mikayla's husband Jace Terry, Jen's husband Zac Affleck, Whitney's husband Conner Leavitt, and Jessi's husband Jordan Ngatikaura. (That's one way to put those Jessi cheating rumors to bed!) Finally, the show will be hosted by Bachelor alum Nick Viall, who has had most of the cast on his podcast, The Viall Files. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2 reunion will air July 1 on Hulu. I will be seated.

How Much Are 'Love Island USA' Season 7 Contestants Paid Per Episode?
Love Island USA has arrived (on a slight delay) for another season of thirsty drama with a fresh new cast. And if you're wondering how much everyone gets paid—er, if they get paid—to take off work and film a Peacock reality show for several weeks, we have the answers. Settle in for salary details—though honestly it's what the cast makes post-show that's really blowing our mind. There isn't a ton of reporting on Love Island USA, but we can look to Love Island UK for a general answer to this question. Hello Magazine reports that cast members are "paid around £375 a week to cover any rent or bills back home. However, the big payout occurs at the end of the series for the lucky couple who are crowned winners." This was corroborated by Love Island UK Season 6 contestant Demi Jones, who—per Buzzfeed—straight-up spilled in a since deleted TikTok. "Yes, you do get paid to go on the show," Demi said. "I personally got paid £250 a week. This is obviously to cover all your bills at home because you could have a flat, you could have a car to pay, all the things like that. So obviously Love Island want to make sure that's all covered for you so you don't get into any financial difficulties while you're like away on holiday. So, yeah, I got £250 a week. I don't know if that's the same now, but that's what I got paid when I was on winter Love Island, and obviously, you can make up for any losses if you work hard when you come out." Kennedy Meehan, who founded the Azure Agency and works with several Love Island stars, told Business Insider that "Some of our girls, straight out of the villa, are making $20,000 to $30,000 in a month off of, let's say, five videos. And that's on the lower end." Meanwhile, manager Ericka Mendoza—who works with season 5 winners Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli—added "It's our job as managers to help them navigate their sudden fame. The transition is all about alignment." Business Insider also spoke to Viral Nation senior talent agent Toni Rose Goulden who said the first two weeks out of the villa are "the most important part" for the cast, and that "Everyone's going to have their peak and then everyone's going to kind of forget about you." Tragically we don't know exactly what Ariana Madix is making for being the host of Love Island USA. But we DO know her salary from Vanderpump Rules, and something tells us she wouldn't take a demotion. According to the Hollywood Reporter, core cast members of Vanderpump Rules were making $25,000 per episode, aka up to $600,000 per season. So seems safe to assume she's making at least this much, if not more, for Love Island USA. But we're just speculating here!

Demi Moore recalls feeling ‘terrified' by General Hospital role
Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Demi Moore felt 'a little terrified' when she was cast in 'General Hospital'. The 62-year-old actress joined the cast of the hit soap opera in 1981, and the role proved to be a real turning point in her career. The Hollywood star told People: 'I think the first big moment that kind of gave me a little bit of encouragement of, wow, this could be possible, is when I got 'General Hospital' because it was a real job on a show that was successful for a soap opera. 'In fact, it was at a heightened state because Elizabeth Taylor had just been a guest on a soap opera.' Demi quickly became convinced that she had a long-term future in the entertainment industry. Demi - who became the world's highest-paid actress in the 90s - recalled: 'Literally, it was a month before my 19th birthday. And so it was like a real job where I was going to be paid and have an actual salary. Meaning that I didn't have to have another job. I could actually live by doing this thing that I loved and hoped I could do. So that was like the first moment to really kick it off.' Despite this, Demi still felt anxious about joining the cast of the hit TV show. Looking at a photo from a publicity shoot for 'General Hospital', Demi said: 'I got 'General Hospital' a month before my 19th birthday, so I think I'm 19 years old. Super dolled up, heavy duty made up. 'You know, I just was so excited for all of it. But if I'm looking at this photo, I think I was probably a little terrified also.'

Sonya's Top Cabaret Festival picks
I saw Davina perform one song at our Live in Cabaret show two years ago and was hooked. With a big voice and soul and sass in spades, she builds a song like no other, ultimately blowing the roof off any venue she performs in. When she starts, you just don't want her to stop. One of the consistent and best parts of the Cabaret Festival is, hands down, Trevor Jones in the Quartet Bar- and it's free! Whether it's after another show or a stand-alone Trevor experience, you won't regret spending a few minutes or hours singing along to your favourite songs and requests. Trevor is super talented, supremely credentialled musically and with a personality that shines brighter even than his talent. This show has really piqued my interest! A good belly laugh goes so well with Cabaret but I'm intrigued by how a Power Point presentation and a backflip gets thrown into that mix! Looking forward to finding out from this show from Demi, who's seemingly wowed them in Edinburgh Unapologetically Judith Owen You had me when you said 50's jazz and blues, but badass ladies sealed the deal! This sounds like a show to savour in a darkened Banquet Room with a good whisky in your hand. David Campbell Good Lovin and More There's a good reason people love David Campbell. Adelaide audiences have a soft spot for him, particularly from his time as a former Director of this Festival. But his slick stage presence, smooth ability to belt out some of your favourite standards and unmatched charisma is a combination that means it's a tick from me! It's Cabaret Week on ABC Radio Adelaide. Don't miss out on the fun!

The 'Mormon Wives' cast is fighting over pay. Here's the drama explained and why Whitney thinks they might not always be paid equally.
" The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" cast broke the fourth wall in season two when arguments about pay spilled onscreen. The reality show, which follows a group of unconventional Mormon-adjacent TikTok influencers known as MomTokers, was one of Hulu's biggest new hits of 2024. The immediate success led to the streamer renewing the show for 20 episodes in October 2024 — more than double the length of season one. In season two, episode six, the cast revealed that negotiations for the second season led to an argument where Demi asked for Jessi to be kicked off the show to boost her and their castmates' pay packets. This surprised fans and the other cast members since Demi and Jessi were close friends up until that moment. Whitney, another cast member, told Business Insider on May 20 that the cast are currently paid equally for starring in the show, but suggested that there could be more conversations "down the line." Here's what to know about the cast's pay and how it led to Jessi and Demi's fallout. Jessi said Demi wanted an 'absurd' amount of money On May 20, Jessi told the "Viall Files" podcast that Demi's attempt to kick her off the show was the "catalyst" for the end of the friendship. In the episode, Jessi said that the argument began during a call with the cast, their managers, and lawyers as they devised a plan to negotiate higher pay for season two before season one aired. Jessi said she joined the call and heard Demi's husband, Bret, tell the cast to quit the show if they didn't get the salary he and his wife wanted. Jessi said she responded by saying she didn't want to quit, which she said angered Bret and Demi. "She basically threw me under the bus because I didn't care to fight for more money, and she wanted an absurd amount of money," Jessi said, without stating how much Bret and Demi wanted. Jessi said after the initial call, Demi called the other cast members to say Jessi should be kicked off the show so they could earn more money. Mikayla, Jessi's costar who appeared on the same "Viall Files" episode, also said that the amount Demi requested was too much, adding that the cast did not know how successful the show would be. Mikayla added that Demi told cast members that Jessi had "no morals, no values." Whitney and Layla told Business Insider that the cast eventually decided to be paid equally for season two. Explaining how the show's cast is paid, Whitney said: "it is equal and I think maybe more seasons down the line, we'll have more conversations about it because I think just naturally more people are being filmed more than others." Demi and Jessi's fallout shows the struggles of mixing business with friendship Demi and Jessi made up before filming season two, but the started to show when Jessi learned that Demi told their costar, Taylor, not to get her hair done at Jessi's hair salon, JZ Styles, and criticized her business. Demi said she was repeating criticism from others and that she didn't do anything wrong. Jessi said the final straw was when Demi kept criticizing her for not supporting her in various arguments. "I was just like 'I'm not doing this pattern where I have to beg for your love if I'm not doing exactly what you want,'" Jessi said. Demi told "Viall Files" on May 15 that the fallout was just a "misunderstanding" that could be resolved, but she said Jessi refused to talk with her off-camera. The arguments are a problem for a show built around the idea that the cast are supportive, close friends. Any rifts that might make viewers question how genuine their friendship is could affect brand deals that the MomTokers get and the success of the show. Jessi and Demi have re-followed each other on Instagram, which could mean they are rebuilding their friendship. A representative for Demi and Bret did not immediately respond to a comment request from Business Insider.
