Kid Rock opens new Nashville restaurant and enjoys 'breakfast' in the afternoon
What does Kid Rock eat for breakfast? Perhaps the better question is: When does he eat it? The American musician, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, told "Fox & Friends" this week that he eats his breakfast in the afternoon. "I have breakfast at 1 p.m. or 5 p.m.," Kid Rock said during a live interview with Fox News' Steve Doocy at the singer's new Nashville restaurant, The Detroit Cowboy. (See the video at the top of this article.) Doocy pushed back a bit. "Well, that's not breakfast," he said. "That's lunch." Kid Rock suggested otherwise. "It's breakfast. I just eat at a different time." Kid Rock's newest venture is a steak, seafood and fine-dining establishment in partnership with Joe Muer, a restaurateur from Kid Rock's hometown of Detroit. It's filled with memorabilia from Kid Rock's musical career. There is also a mirror on the wall with an inscription that reads, "Go Where You're Celebrated Not Tolerated." Kid Rock told "Fox & Friends" it's the restaurant's motto. "Years ago, I had a spot in Detroit and there's a few bad actors there [who] tried to get me involved with the cancel culture and all that stuff, so I didn't renew my lease," he said. Kid Rock said his new restaurant is a place where customers can "come for some good food and chill." A grand-opening celebration for the restaurant was held on Tuesday night. Among those in attendance were "Reagan" actor Dennis Quaid and Grammy Award-winning singer Lee Greenwood, who performed at the event. The restaurant has even received an endorsement from President Donald Trump, who wrote about it in a Truth Social post this past Monday night. "Congratulations to my friend, Kid Rock (I call him Bob!), on the Grand Opening of his new Nashville restaurant, 'The Detroit Cowboy,'" Trump wrote. "I hear it is a very friendly MAGA establishment, and look forward to going there sometime soon," the president also wrote. Kid Rock was with Trump at the White House in late March for the signing of an executive order targeting unfair scalping of concert tickets.

Jack Quaid & Ray Nicholson's Friendship Bringing Dad Jack Out of Hiding: ‘This Really Thrilled Him'
Ray Nicholson and Jack Quaid got along great while filming their latest movie together and a source exclusively tells Closer their relationship extends beyond just costars and includes hangouts with their A-list dads, Jack Nicholson and Dennis Quaid. 'It's not talked about a lot, but Jack's dad Dennis actually named him after Jack Nicholson, because he idolized him back in the day,' the insider says. 'So, to have their two sons now be working together and hanging out is such a full circle moment.' For Dennis, 71, screen legend Jack, 88, shaped how he sees cinema through his groundbreaking performances in iconic films like Chinatown, The Shining and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He's been open in his admiration, revealing to E! News that his and Meg Ryan's 33-year-old son bears his idol's name out of respect and that it was actually his older brother, Randy Quaid, that put him up to the idea. "I just got to L.A. and my brother got a part in a movie called Missouri Breaks," The Day After Tomorrow actor recalled. "So I drove my brother's car up to Montana. My very first movie set, I'm watching these actors, my real heroes. We hung out at Jack Nicholson's house every night. He and Randy were good friends." 'They gave me a lot of encouragement," he added. "And that's a true story that we named him Jack after that." The source notes that growing up the kids of mega-famous actors in Hollywood gave the young actors, who are the same age, common ground. It's unsurprising they eventually developed a friendship, especially after working on Novocaine, which recently premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March. The film marked a serious career breakout for Ray, who had appeared in over 20 movies beforehand, but mostly in bit parts. 'Ray and Jack both have great relationships with their dads so it didn't take long for them to hit on the idea of doing a father son dinner,' the insider explains. 'Jack doesn't like to go out much, so he hosted,' the source continues. 'They all had a ball. It was fun for Dennis and Jack to reminisce about the good old days together and Ray was really happy to see his dad being social and having fun.' Ray has discussed how much of an inspiration his dad's career has been on his own. He Deadline in October 2024 '[Jack's] my inspiration. I ate dinner with him every night. I studied it, that's how I learned to be a human being. So, of course we're gonna be kind of similar.' The source adds that even though, 'in his old age Jack has turned into a bit of a hermit,' Ray has really stepped up to care for him, which includes organizing dinners with their friends the Quaids. 'This really thrilled him and now they're talking about doing it more often, maybe even once a week since Ray and Jack are such close friends now.'

Entire Montana Town on the Edge of Yellowstone Is Listed for $2.6 Million—and It's a Potential Gold Mine for Savvy Investors
Kevin Costner's John Dutton might have left our screens for good, but the fascination with his rancher lifestyle lives on—particularly in and around Yellowstone, where one deep-pocketed investor is now being given the chance to create a personal land legacy. On the edge of the storied national park sits the small Montana town of Pray, which has just been put on the market in its entirety, with an asking price of $2.6 million, a sum that would likely be chump change to someone of Dutton's wealth. In a very telling sign of Yellowstone's soaring popularity, that ask represents a 441% increase from the last sale price of the property ($480,000) in 2018. To be fair, much has changed since the town of Pray last came on the market—particularly the number of celebrity residents who have flocked to Yellowstone in recent years, snapping up second (or third) homes around the historic park, from Dennis Quaid and John Mayer to Jeff Bridges and Tom Brady. A-list arrivals in the area, coupled with the extraordinary success of showrunner Taylor Sheridan's Western TV hits like 'Yellowstone,' '1883' and '1923,' have sent prices in Big Sky County skyrocketing—and introduced a whole new group of fans to the area's natural beauty, abundant outdoor activities, and breathtaking scenery. Adding to Pray's value are some updates made to the town's infrastructure, including the construction of three modern short-term rental cabins and a septic system. In addition, the property owner laid out plans and got approvals to build eight more dwellings. The savvy seller revealed in the listing information that the property brought in a staggering $300,000 in 2023, with 'a higher projected income' for 2024 and $100,000 in rentals already booked for 2025. One might wonder why anyone would walk away from such a lucrative business. But the last Pray purchaser recently moved out of state, forcing the town back on the market. Pray already has an unrivaled location: It's situated near the Yellowstone River, in the heart of Paradise Valley, and boasts proximity to the national park's only year-round entrance. Metropolitan comforts like shops, services, dining, and an airport in Bozeman are just 48 minutes away. Pray also has sweeping views as it's nestled near the foot of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness with a dozen or more mountain peaks over 10,000 feet high. The town also offers human-made assets as well, some of which need some updating. Chief among them is a functioning U.S. Post Office, which draws traffic to the location and has a government lease, which renews every five years. The original bronze post office boxes add historical charm. The Old General Store has seen better days, but there's a lot of potential, according to listing agent Michael Rutkowski. 'This used to be the spot where people would come shopping, and they would weigh their babies on the meat scale,' he says. A new owner could easily revive the store and sell all manner of goods, since the town is one of the last stops before the park entrance. Also, people travel from around the area to use the post office. Rutkowski is even willing to lease it himself and is dabbling in remodeling it into a multipurpose gathering place, bookstore, and gift shop with coffee service. The property includes a newly renovated duplex, which is ideal as a long-term rental or staff accommodations. The town of Pray was founded in 1907 by a man called Valentine Eggar, who named it after Congressman Charles Nelson Pray. From 1907 to 2018, only one family ran Pray. The last family member to inherit the town was Barbara Tims Walker, who was the town's mayor, rent collector, head maintenance engineer, and chief gardener until she sold it in 2018. Rutkowski represented Walker in that sale. With all the high net worth individuals moving to the area and building megamansions, plus the tourist traffic heading to Yellowstone, the town has unlimited potential, Rutkowski says. 'I have laid out a plan which any investor could capitalize on,' he says. 'I have spoken with hundreds of investors about this property, literally, as this listing has officially gone viral.' He continues, 'This property will require a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground type of effort. We have young folks ready to work, and new machines ready to dig in and build whatever it is the new owners dream of. 'I have been an investor myself, in the Valley since 2018, but my wife and I got our start here in Yellowstone in 2002 as seasonal workers at Lake Hotel.' The new buyer could well benefit from the state's recent move to cut property taxes for regular homeowners. For years, rising home prices across Montana have translated into painful property tax hikes for full-time residents. But a simple, across-the-board tax cut would have gutted funding for schools, emergency services, and local infrastructure. That dilemma fueled months of heated debate in Helena, with at least 47 competing tax proposals floated this session alone. On April 30, lawmakers passed the final two-bill package aimed at resolving that crisis—shifting the tax burden away from primary residences and onto Montana's biggest landholders and absentee owners. In the end, it was Gov. Greg Gianforte's preferred legislation that prevailed. House Bill 231 and Senate Bill 542 passed in the final hours of the legislative session, delivering long-promised property tax relief. Ratings: 1923 Viewership Has Soared 56% in Season 2, Says Paramount
I believe the most apt way to sum up 1923 Season 2 viewership is, 'Yee-haw!' Midway through the Yellowstone prequel's sophomore run, viewership is on track to beat Season 1 by some 56%, Paramount reported on Wednesday. More from TVLine School Spirits Renewed for Season 3; Paramount+ Eyes 2026 Release Happy Face: How to Watch the Killer Drama Starring Dennis Quaid Online Tulsa King Renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+ That takes into account seven-day viewership of each of Season 2's first four episodes. Episode 5 (of eight) drops this coming Sunday, March 23. The Season 2 premiere, which arrived a full two years after the Western's freshman finale, has to date delivered 17 million global viewers, up 41% vs. Season 1. (All claims are based on internal streaming data. Paramount+ has not disclosed how it defines a 'viewer,' but… you can at least compare Season 2 apples to Season 2 apples in this case.) Hailing from prolific Yellowstone co-creator (and sometime-actor!) Taylor Sheridan, 1923 stars Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford, leading an ensemble that includes Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, Sebastian Roché, Timothy Dalton and Jennifer Carpenter. In Season 2, which launched on Feb. 23, a cruel winter brings 'new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob (played by Ford) and Cara (Mirren) back at Dutton ranch. With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer (Sklenar) embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Schlaepfer) sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love.' New episodes of 1923 drop every Sunday on Paramount+.
