Julius Thomas gives his prediction for Bo Nix's second season

Julius Thomas had a relatively brief but impactful career with the Denver Broncos. Playing for the club from 2011-2014, Thomas recorded two Pro Bowl seasons in 2013 and 2014. In those two seasons, he tallied 1,277 yards and 24 touchdowns, becoming one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets. So when it comes to the Broncos, he's certified. This is why, after nailing his Bo Nix prediction in 2024, he's back for a second prediction for Nix in his sophomore season. Thomas stated that Nix, although it may have been uncertain for Broncos Country then, would be pleased with Nix as the quarterback. This year, Thomas sees growth due to how Nix came in and learned Sean Payton's system at a rapid pace. Thomas elaborates more below. Nix showed he could be an elite quarterback in college, playing for two teams and five different offensive coordinators in five years. Despite that, he left the NCAA as the single-season completion percentage leader in 2024. So, with stability in the NFL, Thomas has merit in believing that Nix will make an even bigger jump in 2025. Chase Edmonds gushes with praise for Broncos rookie RB RJ Harvey

Chase Edmonds gushes with praise for Broncos rookie RB RJ Harvey The Denver Broncos drafted RJ Harvey in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft earlier this offseason. In a quest to continue to build around sophomore quarterback Bo Nix, the drafting of Harvey is an attempt to further stabilize the running game as a component of head coach Sean Payton's precision pass attack. Chase Edmonds, via NFL Network's 'Good Morning Football,' recently gushed how excited he is for Harvey to join the Broncos. He even warned Broncos Country to get their 'Kool-Aid' ready because Harvey is bringing the 'juice.' "I absolutely love this guy," Edmonds said. "You talk about juice, you talk about the ability to get skinny, get back out to the outside. Broncos Country, let me tell you something right now: Get your Kool-Aid ready, because this brother is bringing the juice." With UCF, Harvey rushed for 1,577 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2024, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors. Hopefully, Harvey can replicate this production in 2025 with Denver. Watch 41 minutes of highlights from Bo Nix's rookie season

Watch 41 minutes of highlights from Bo Nix's rookie season The Denver Broncos drafted Bo Nix in 2024 to make him their franchise quarterback. After the quarterback's illustrious career with the Auburn Tigers and the Oregon Ducks, it appeared that Sean Payton got his man after doing his homework. And if the 2024 NFL season was an indicator, Payton was right. Nix threw for 3,775 yards and 27 touchdowns compared to just 12 interceptions. The rookie quarterback also rushed for 430 yards and scored four times on the ground last season in addition to hauling in a touchdown catch. Nix and his play led the Broncos to their first playoff appearance since their 2015 Super Bowl-winning season. And what makes Nix and his performance more impressive? Payton's offense was Nix's sixth consecutive new offense, dating back to his five years in college. With that said, check out 41 minutes -- yes, 41 minutes -- of Nix and his highlights as a rookie below. Although it's lengthy, it's worth the watch: Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.

Investigation into golf cart accident that left NFL legend John Elway's agent dead remains open

Deputies in California will keep open an investigation into a golf cart accident reportedly involving Denver Broncos legend John Elway but say all witnesses have been interviewed, and nothing indicates foul play was involved. TMZ reported John Elway was driving a golf cart at The Madison Club in La Quinta, California, April 26 when his longtime agent and friend, Jeffrey Sperbeck, 62, fell out and hit his head. The two were leaving a Stagecoach after-party, the outlet reported. A spokesperson for Cal Fire told Fox News Digital Sperbeck sustained "serious injuries" and was transported to a hospital. He was initially listed in critical condition, but he died April 30. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco told Fox News Digital the case will remain open until all residents who may have video are contacted, but there's nothing indicating foul play. "We determined the case would remain open until we contacted all residents who might have video of the path traveled. All potential witnesses have been interviewed. There is no evidence or statement to indicate this is nothing more than a tragic accident," Bianco said. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office Coroner's Bureau previously ruled Sperbeck's death accidental, saying his death was the result of blunt head trauma, according to a statement obtained by Fox News Digital. The coroner's office said the injury happened when the "passenger fell from" the golf cart. In a statement released after Sperbeck's death, Elway said he was "devastated," according to ESPN. "I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the passing of my close friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sperbeck," Elway said. "There are no words to truly express the profound sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me." Sperbeck's family also released a statement. "We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Jeff Sperbeck. He was a wonderful father, husband, brother, son and friend to many and will be profoundly missed by all," the Sperbeck family said. "We are grieving this unimaginable loss as a family alongside our dearest friends the Elway's and the many other clients Jeff called friends." Sperbeck became Elway's manager in 1990. Among Sperbeck's clients were Pro Football Hall of Famers Ronnie Lott and Jim Plunkett, in addition to hundreds of other NFL players.
